Hello everyone, I have a problem installing windows 7 Ultimate x 64 bit for my Acer aspire V5 - 572 G. I use flash drive(wi-drive) to install my os because there is no cd drive. First of all, I started BIOS computer Mian tab open, I changed F12 Boot Menu to "Enabled" in the start menu, I changed the start Legacy and USB HDD Boot priority mode. When I start my laptop I click F12 and it opens the start menu. It appears my Wi-Drive, but when I try to use it it charges me again to the screen where I choose to start Linpus Linux or make it bootable hard drive.

Also, I used PowerISO to install my Windows 7 files.

Can someone help me to install my Windows 7 laptop?

  • Acer Aspire problems V5-571PG

I have Acer Aspire V5-571PG with Windows 8 single language installed and now I have 2 MAJOR problems.

    1st problem:

Yesterday I heard that NVIDIA has released a new update (331.82 WHQL) display driver so I downloaded and tried to install it but I always get the message "Cannot install NVIDIA". I looked for a solution and tried everything I have found to no avail.

Finally, I tried to uninstall the current driver and try to install a new one. I managed to uninstall the current driver to "Device Manager", but when I tried to install a new once again, I got the same message.

I have downloaded the driver NVIDIA Acer Support Web of page my mobile site

    http://us.Acer.com/AC/en/us/content/drivers

But it also gives me the same message. So, now I finished without no NVIDIA drivers for my card.

    2nd problem:

I tried to update my Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows, so I followed the instructions here:

    http://us.Acer.com/AC/en/us/content/update-to-windows81

I uninstalled the Intel and NVIDIA display driver you know the 1st problem that isn't already there.

I installed all the pending important updates from Windows Update.

I opened the store and downloaded the upgrade, but whenever he reached the phase of installation especially around 70% it stops with error code 0 x 80070003 I searched on the web about this error and I tried everything there, but nothing has worked. I tried to clear the cache of the store and he gave me some other errors.

I found a few articles on a way around to download Windows 8.1 as ISO and use this upgrade to avoid the mistakes of store method. But this obligatory way my product key to win 8. So, I used the one for windows 8 version installed on my laptop, but he told me that this key is only for OEM versions not for more details.

    http://www.MakeUseOf.com/tag/overcome-Windows-8-1-upgrade-errors-with-a-legal-ISO-download/

So, I would appreciate any help with a problem, but my more pressing is the NVIDIA problem.

At this point, your easiest option is probably to restore the system to factory default load and start again.

If necessary: (make sure that you have restarted at least once, if the above did not work)

Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touchpad - the driver tab-
Click on update driver (it comes may not do anything like MS is far behind the drivers of certification), now right CLICK

Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in). RESET

This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB. This does not prevent the touchpad from working.

Here is the similar procedure under XP, Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific device if present.

  • Acer Aspire E 11 ES1 - 111 M-P2YU Win 8.1 the HARD disk transfer to SDS

I just ordered my E11 ES1 - 111 M-P2YU with 250 GB HARD drive and ordered a 250 GB SDD to speed up and reduce power consumption. How can I move Windows 8.1 since the HDD to the SDS? * Please * don't not sugguest upgrading to W10 - I would rather cut my eyes out of my skull with a rusty spoon and be eaten by the bear while the bees cover sting me for 48 hours straight.

I hope to be able to create a recover disk/USB then reinstall Win 8.1 and do it properly recognize my installation of Windows without giving my some garbage about piracy...

    Thank you!

That's all you need to do.

1 create a USB factory default recovery disc

    http://Acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/26287/related/1/session/L2F2LzEvdGltZS8xNDM5ODcwMDA...

    2. remove the existing HARD drive

    3. install the SSD and put back together

    4. Insert the USB

    5 turn on the computer

    6. replace your PC.  The recovery drive will automatically format and partition your new SSD.  When the dialog asks you if you want to repartition the disk, say 'yes '.

There are probably a few precautions normal security somewhere on youtube.  Of course, you probably want to remove the power cord and the battery before you dive into it with the disassembly.

And when you use your recovery disk, it would probably be best that food is still plugged in... in case the battery is dead.

There is no need to enter a key of Windows.  Everything is automatic, including windows key board BIOS recovery.

  • Acer aspire problem vn7 - 591 g nitro with high CPU and GPU temperatures

Hello! I recently noticed some issues (lower fps) performance when you play semi demanding like cs and Overwatch, although pretty much the lowest settings. I went to download CPUID (software to monitor your hardware) to check my temperature and I noticed that I reach 90 low to high (depending on the game) when I play.

I thought it might be dust or something inside so I removed the keyboard of the laptop part and used some canned air to remove any dust I could reach (without removing the motherboard). I also managed to get your hands on a laptop computer, cooling rack. The problem is that all these efforts really solved the problem. Just a slightly lower temperature on the GPU and about the same on the processors. I'm starting to wonder if it could be the thermal paste, which need to be replaced? I had the computer for a little over a year now. Does anyone else know similar problems? Help or advice would be appriecated.

    Hello

The CPU and the GPU are designed to operate at these temperatures. If they are too high they will be the butterfly, and if even this does not then at some point they just instantly shut down to avoid any possible damage.

Changing thermal paste may improve performance, but you will only get lower temperatures. Your CPU/GPU will probably run at higher clock speeds and will not throttle, but temperatures will be in the same range. But in my experience if you can change the thermal paste, you should.

Also, you can use the laptop fan control that has the configuration for 591g and it may further increase the fan speed. I think, from the factory, the maximum speed of the fan is just about 60-70%.

  • Problem of Touchpad on Acer Aspire VN7 - 591 G Ultrabook

I would be grateful if someone could give me some advice.

I have a problem to find a driver for the touchpad on my Acer Aspire V Nitro Black Edition (VN - 591G) with Windows 8.1.

The touchpad itself works fine, but it has only to type the feature, I want to activate actions such as vertical and horizontal scrolling. I already tried to install the Synaptics pointing device or the driver of the momentum and although the installation was successful, I don't see all the settings in my configuration of the mouse.

It could be a solution (google) to install the Intel Chipset driver, then pilot of e/s Intel. I've updated one, and before installing Intel i/o, I need to configure advanced BIOS settings, but it is not "Advanced tab" in my BIOS. Looks like I'm in the trap.

I would be grateful if someone could suggest other solutions to enable gestures.

You know that you must use two fingers to scroll?

Problems with the touchpad VN7 - 591 G are a 8.1 engine that doesn't work great and sometimes a bad touchpad.

You may need to get a USB or wireless mouse until the pilot gets sorted.

  • Acer aspire ES1-111 questions

    Hi all

I decided to enroll in this community to get some tips and reviews the problems I am experiencing with this laptop. I own an Acer Aspire ES1-111 I bought a week ago.

Since its first configuration, I noticed problems using it with windows 8.1 (its native operating system). For example, touchpad or keyboard not working not properly and, especially, shutdown problems. In this case specific I could never stop the device correctly, because he remained with the power indicator which continued into 'works' although it seems that the system is freezed was arrested. However, in order to really stop I had to press the power button / stop.

First of all, I decided to reset the system with built-in software eRecovery but problems remain.

Secondly, I decided to do a clean install of the operating system and I tried the two Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. In both cases, installation process complete without problems, but when you try to install all the drivers, I experienced freezes and once again the shutdown problems. I followed an order to install drivers (Chipset first, only VGA, etc), but in most cases, I had problems of supra. I also tried to disable "Fast start (recommended) turn" without success.

But now comes the strange part.

I finally decided to give it a try for Windows 7 and, to my surprise, everything works fine! I was able to install the drivers correctly and to stop or restart my laptop without a problem. Now I use Windows 7, but, as it is under warranty, I would ask you what you think of this questions.

I find it quite strange that a laptop does not properly with its native operating system but it is very good with an older operating system! Do you think I should send to Acer support or ask to change it (although, I don't know if I'm still able to pursue this second option).

    Thanks for your attention!

    MIC

I think I found the reason why I was unable to run Windows 8.1 smoothly after a new installation. I tried to install it during the configuration of the Bios in LEGACY mode, which is good for the BONES before Windows 8 (like Windows 7, as it was working perfectly) but not for Windows 8/8.1 as it probably some issue when install drivers etc.

So I decided to reset the Bios original UEFI mode. It was the right decision. Not only touchpad was recognized well when loading the USB bootable (expecially since the Touchpad has been on "Advanced", which in legacy mode, would not work), but also because, when the operating system installation process has been completed, I was able to install all the drivers hardware properly and stop/restart of operations fully worked without problems / freezes and so on.

Hope this information is useful for other users.

  • Problems with Acer Aspire V5 - 573 G UEFI?

    Hello

I have Acer Aspire V5 - 573G. Before all the problems start I used Legacy BIOS mode with 10 Windows Pro 64 bit OS. Have the latest BIOS v2.30.

So, recently, I decide to move from the Legacy BIOS UEFI and reinstalled Windows 10 Pro 64-bit with UEFI mode activated with the GPT partition style. Everything went well with the installation.

Now I am facing following issues with UEFI and Windows 10 witch, which I didn't in Legacy BIOS mode:

    1. When the laptop goes to sleep and is not touched for a while, I can't wake up to laptop. Press any key on the keyboard or touch the touchpad don't wake it either. Only way is to press the Power button to stop completely and then turn it back on. I don't know if it's something to do with the Windows settings to resolve this problem.
    2. Restart Windows sometimes stop laptop computer. It's really strange... Windows shows it restarts, screen goes black and does not start, instead it laptop shutdown. ??
    3. And when I shut down the system, it is not entirely clear. Often the blue light continues to blink, CPU and GPU fans are always and still closing system entirely to press on the button / stop.

These issues are somehow related to UEFI, because I had no such problems with the traditional mode and Windows 10. This is starting to annoy me when the laptop stops completely.

    Any help on this?

    Thank you!

Hello, user of instant messaging of Acer Aspire ES1-331. I've used it since February 2016 with Windows 8.1

For a long time, quick access Acer and Acer Bluelight shield worked properly but a few days ago something happened and: WiFi sharing option disappeared (it was under "Rozruch do Desktop") AQA and it has become impossible put absolute earlier when I turned it on or off, it happened immediately. Now, some points will for a few seconds and I get this:

    http://imgur.com/a/Epfjt

It means: "you can not control the device. the same thing happens when I change the intensity of the APA - nothing changes, however she can write that it has changed. 'High' level is activated on the display, but you see that it is a lie. I use it on the Admin account of course.

I reinstalled quick access Acer but nothing has changed and I can't use Acer Bluelight shield.
The rest of the Acer access options fast work (Wifi and Bluetooth).

    Thanks for reading!

Don't know why it happened, but you can try the rotation system to a job previously set up. • Updating BIOS for Acer Aspire 3000 / battery problems

So I had a couple of Acer Aspire 3000 who were not working and got one to work...

But it seems that I am having some problems when the battery is in it - and otherwise fine without him.
Excessively long Shut Downs that go to the continuous reboots / Touchpad problems, gel, etc.

Says the battery until it goes to @ 7-8%.  Then the battery does not charge.

When the power adapter is disconnected - the battery is charge?

Given that these laptops have been sitting around for a couple / few years... and have been given to me... I do not deny the possibility that the battery is not good. And there was only 1 battery using 2 laptops.

After that she has charged at 7-8% - I unplugged it the adapter - and it ran for @ 20 min.  and said: '1 HR 30 min remaining"until she was cut.

I also tried tried the - remove battery unplug adapter and hold the power button for 2 min method - then installed battery and adapter - but nothing helped...

(On a side - note, which is probably not related - my wifi doesn't seem to be working - even though it appears, it does nothing wrong in. Device Manager - and runs a diagnosis does not help...) I know there are wireless networks but none does not appear! Broadcom 802. 11 g)

In any case - I saw a post on a different site-say an UPDATE of the BIOS could possibly solve the problem of battery - (wifi may be too)...

Given that I've NEVER DONE an UPDATE to BIOS; I'll ask NICELY, please walk me but this... with as little as ACKRONYNS and GEEK TALK as Possible (respectfully).  I had heard of this sort of thing - to download the update of the Bios... and I think it can be put on a Falsh player - but is a ZIP and should she be EXTACTED - which I'm not too big? Then "Select (something)? and then maybe restart... So now, I'm willing to give it a try - with some help and input.  THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE!  a link for the download and the proper BIOS UPDATE would be a big departure... - I guesss that goes without saying.

So, here are some features of the information system: (I hope there enough, but please let me know if you need more)

3 to 32 of the latest BIOS availabel
