Acer Liquid M330 - anniversary issue of update Windows Mobile 10

Nice day!

I just bought my new M330 liquid a few days before the release of the update of Windows Mobile 10. When the update was released, I immediately downloaded and updated the phone. The update process has been smooth. However, after the update, I realized that there is a problem with the navigation bar and the display. It seems that the nav bar overlays the lower part of the touchscreen resulting from the inability to choose what is in the navigation bar.

It is, in all likelihood, a bug in the update, but is there a way to revert to the previous version or the Acer Windows Mobile team can provide us with an update of the firmware? I tried to use the Windows Mobile recovery tool, but there is no firmware available on Microsoft servers.

Help, please. Thank you.

Cumulative update to yesterday Windows Mobile 10 (build 14393.321) solves the problems of calibration of the scale and the touchscreen in my liquid M330. (It is also solved the similar problem in Nokia Lumia 635.)

  • Acer Aspire 5560 Dolby Advanced Audio driver issues after updating to Windows 10

    I have an Acer Aspire 5560. I've updated to Windows 10 and now I am getting up the following message is displayed at startup.

    The current Dolby audio driver is 7.2.8000.17 and the software application expects that the version of the driver 7.2.700.7. Please install a valid combination of pilot application and software.

    Can any help with a fix for this?

    I'm Dr.Aravindh of the India. Recently bought an ACER LIQUID Z630S smartphone. It was just works very well and connect to my ACER laptop with ease but one day, that I was not able to transfer files to my laptop via a USB cable. My mobile is not detected by my knees as a media transfer device. The camera mode is activated which leaves a lot of data in my mobile... When I checked with troubleshooting, windows said that some driver is missing/corrupted. Cannot install driver downloaded from the Acer site. Kindly help

    1.) make a right click the yellow "!" and select "update driver".
    2.) when the option to connect to Windows Update, select "no, not this time" and click Next.

    4.) select 'don't search. I will choose the driver to install"and click Next.
    5.) click on the button "floppy". Navigate to C:\Windows\inf and choose the file marked 'wpdmtp.inf '.

    (2) type "wpdmtp.inf" in the search provided to the right of the address bar in Windows 10 bar.

    Yesterday, the laptop has stopped working and just turned off.
    We took it back to the Currys PC World store (2222 Liverpool Aintree Branch) to fix them.
    They decided that it was not a warranty issue and that: - (I quote)
    "The fault details: updates Windows has corrupted operating system." "Needs a remastering and updates the resettlement".
    I have this in writing.
    It cost my son, a student, £50 and is without his laptop when it nears its first round of reviews.
    I need your answer before deciding on my next step.

    University (he did win a place)... Yesterday, the laptop has stopped working and just turned off.

    Buy you a Windows XP computer brand new in May of 2014, is that correct?

    Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

    I read your post on WiFi often disconnect and wanted to help.

    Whenever someone comes here running Win10 and complains about something just suddenly does not work, I immediately suspect driver updates Windows.

    Unfortunately, Win10 forces automatically updates driver on each of us, without our knowledge and without our permission - and in this case, a work PC is suddenly 'broken '.  This could happen to you.

    You must go to settings, update & security--> Windows Update.

    Then choose Advanced Options--> history to see when the updates have been applied last.  If you see one that include device drivers, who might be the problem. So, if you can, you should see if you can restore the drivers that are causing the problem.  Do so you by going into Device Manager, see if the device is still listed and so, trying to restore the last driver update.

    I understand that you are experiencing this error "Hewlett-Packard - Company WSD multifunction printer, MFP, other materials - Null Print - 5660 HP ENVY series - error 0x800f020b". I'd be happy to help you with this.

    It seems that there is a driver on the computer. If you have just installed Windows or a device and the Device Manager has 'Unknown devices' or 'other devices '. This means that they are in a State of error or without no driver installed.

    To resolve this issue, remove the "unknown device" or "Other devices" and run Windows Update to fix the problem.

    1. Go to settings, then select devices.
    2. Click on connected devices.
    3. Click on Device Manager.
    4. Open Printers and then uninstall/remove/delete the "unknown device".
    5. Open the devices and then uninstall/remove/delete the "unknown device".
    6. Launch Windows Update to correct the problem.

  • Error code 80070005 when trying to update Windows using Windows 7 Home Premium

    I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, upgrade from Vista on a Sony Vaio VGN-FW350D. The upgrade was promotional as part of the purchase of the laptop in the Canada.

    I had no other pressing issues which have not been resolved. IHAVE run the built-in Windows based Registry Cleaner (like a cleaner 'free') and the dreagmenter of disk as part of the troubleshooting process.

    I have tried everything I can find on the setting of the following problem:

    When trying to update Windows (ie. Download updates of security or Microsoft security patches, etc.), the following is displayed: "Windows could not search for new updates - an error occurred when searching for new updates for your...» Code 80070005. It gives you the 'Try Again' button, but who does not work either.

    Also, after running in a Fixit 'Microsoft' by default and aggressive modes, change my registration to God knows what state by applying other methods proposed CIHI, now when I try an update of Windows, the "last check for updates '"and updates have been installed"the both indicate '' never. '' BTW, I have the restore points before you make these changes, so no worries there.

    I would like to point out that, as far as I know, this problem has persisted since January 1, 2011, when I downloaded and installed Microsoft Security Essentials, which would not update or another. Before installing MS Security Essentials, I ran Avast, I have re-installed after removing Ms Sec Ess.

    In short, Windows update does not work, giving Code 80070005. Can anyone help solve this problem with me? Thank you...

    Error code 80070005 means generally that you're not quite allowed to install updates.

    If the problem persists, follow the steps mentioned below and the Coachman.

    Step 1:

    All first please confirm that you have logged on to an account with administrative privileges.

    To connect to the administrator account

    a. Click Start, right click on computer, then click on manage.

    b. expand local users and groups, and then click the users folder.

    c. right-click on the connection of the administrator, and then click Properties, and then remove that checking the account is disabled.

    Now, restart the computer and log on to the administrator account and try to update again.

    Step 2:

    You could disable your anti-virue and malware/spyware protection temporarily to see if they are contradictory with the update.
