Acrobat DC 15.016.20039 crashes

I have a Mac with Acrobat DC installed 15.016.20039 and the application crashes continuously.  It will close only to chance with only an error message apple stating that acrobat quit unexpectedly.   I tried to reinstall the application twice and deleted the files from caches in support of the application, but no change.

  • Acrobat Reader DC (2015.016.20039) will not be printed

    Adobe support

I've deleted preferences, re-downloaded and re-installed CD player on the site of Acrobat, but I still cannot print from the software.

Other applications can print PDFS, as Preview.

Other users on the same computer - for example, my local admin account - cannot print in their environment of the user. Computer laptop client is a MacBook Air, 8gigs RAM, OS x 10.11.4

None of the printers in our company have the names of more than 10 characters, and since we share these printers rename is not an option.

    Please advise, thank you.

    Christian

I was able to print using the root user, and when I got home on the local user account non-admin, the print menu has been restored.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

  • Snap-in Acrobat Connect Pro software component crashing with screen-share

    Hi all

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with a problem I have with my Adobe Connect Add-In.

I have a relatively old macbook with Mac OS x version installed 10.6.8, along with version 9 of Adobe Connect Add-in. It seemed to install correctly and meetings work very well. Everything goes well until I try to screen-sharing, time whereby it crashes regularly, giving me a box that tells me that the application has stop working. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall with the same result.
Is it because I have an older OS? Has anyone else had this problem with only the screen sharing? Also, is there anywhere I can test my screen sharing capabilities except when I'm in a meeting, similar to how Skype has a contact, you can call to test your connection?

If you could help point me in the right direction with this question, I would be very grateful. Please let me know if there is additional information, that I do not forget to share!

    Hello allisonc85780560,

Connect addin is not supported on MAC OS X 10.6.8

Here is a link to the datasheet where you can see that you need to have MAC OS X 10.8 or above.

    Acrobat Connect Pro data sheet

And to your second query on another way to test your abilities to screen sharing, you have access to the meeting and then share your screen. You can share your screen, even if you are the only participant in the meeting with the host or the presenter level permissions and check the features with the function that allows to the Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro for screen sharing.

Hello, my pc crashed, and I want to save my acrobat license. Is this possible?

just install (or reinstall) on your new pc (or old).  you need your serial number and installation files.

  • Try to install Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro after computer crash

    Hello

Over the past years, we have lost a few computers in our office when they crashed (hard drive failure). Everything has been backed up, so we didn't lose all data. But I know that at least one of the computers was Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro is installed.

Now, we are trying to install the program on new computers, and we get the first of the error messages that we already installed the program on computers too, and to disable the program from some of the other computers. Old computers are long gone, and even if they were always there, we could not disable the software, since they crashed.

I didn't know I could contact Adobe on this issue, until I was told the week last by a friend: "just contact Adobe and see if they can give you product keys."

I of the CD case with serial number of product on it.

Anyway, is that Adobe can turn them off on their end, so that we can have the program installed again? If it is possible, and it disables all copies, it is fine. Even if I take the time to re - install on computers that have at present, it would be better than the situation that we are currently.

We currently have the program installed on 2 computers, and I think the copy that we bought a few years we will have to have running on computers of 4 or 5. Is it possible to check to see how much we are allowed to have the program installed on the computers?

I hope someone can answer this for me. I tried calling Adobe, but the phone tree said that they do not support Adobe Acrobat on the phone, and I had to go on a site... that do not exist... This is my last hope for assistance.

    Thank you

  • Acrobat Pro XI behaving badly, crashing and bad output size distilled files.

System i3 PC 4 months with 16 GB of RAM.

On board graphics graphics card Intel HD 4000 with 3072 MB is assigned the RAM.

Main BOAD has Ivy Bridge Z77 Intel chipset.

This PC has worked flawlessly for 12 hours per day before you install Acrobat Pro XI (via installation cc).

Operating system is Windows 8 Pro.

Until yesterday, my subscription to the CC ran well. I uninstalled Acrobat (version pre CC) and installed the CC version. The first installation will begin and then crash requiring the Windows Task Manager to end the process.

When the online assistance service said it wasn't their problem, wait until tomorrow to try CC support. I deleted the app and install a new copy. I can distill a ps with that file but the dimensions of the PDF will appear are different from the InDesign created the Postscript file. Now InDesign CC will not free start by double-clicking a file... A problem Ive had before with Win 7 Pro.

Now when I open Acrobat, as soon as I click on a menu item, it shows a menu of VGA quality. I can get rid of this and do some minor tasks using the keys alt f4 but it always hangs in the VGA screen when I try to do something with a menu item. It is of severely affecting my work flow. I need these applications to make a living. How is it I can't get support from Adobe?

I guess that's not a common problem, but with the help of a specialist Adobe, the problem was a set of files of Windows used by many applications (for example printer command menus and several configuration menus pop up who use a system font is left aside if you install fresh windows an upgrade of Windows 8 on a hard drive. It is a legal facility. I had Windows 8, 32-bit but necessary for Windows 8, 64-bit, so I bought the upgrade version and credentials to Win 32 to verify the eligability upgrade.

The problem when it is a family of fonts (Segoe) system used in the full version of Win 8 or the OEM version isn't in the version upgrade. This means by it not installed during the upgrade on an upgrade disc clean disc. Any reason, Microsoft has to do this, the nightmare of the problems it caused me took over a week to track it down. I would like to take credit for this solution, but it was a discussion session online Adobe with a helpful technician who really deserves.

All works fine now, thanks to Adobe.

My PC crashed. Acrobat I am trying to download an extra copy. Who can help me?

While it depends on what you mean by carshed, and it is telling you that makes you say he thinks you are trying to download another copy, I could guess that he might say you have activated it already on different machines and you try to add a third.  If this is the case or not what follows could still be interesting to track with...

Contact Adobe Support by chat or phone.

  • How to uninstall Acrobat DC 2015.016.20041

I installed the latest version of Acrobat Reader and I hate it, I'm not able to work with this program. How do I uninstall it and go back to the previous version? Thank you.

    Hi canguri ,.

To uninstall Adobe Reader from your Mac, you can directly remove the application from the Applications folder, which is just trash/Applications/Adobe Reader.app.

Also, this can cause a break in the features of Safari to read PDF files using Adobe Reader plugin. To resolve this problem, go into/Library/Internet Plug - Ins / and remove AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin

Then restart the computer and install the Adobe Reader application from this link: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let us know if you need help.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro 9,55 keeps crashing on the Mavericks

    Hello.
Please can you help me with this one. I spent days on end, trying to solve.

We have here a user who can open Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.55 seconds on his mac to Mavericks, then it just bombards. You can even bring up the menus file temporarily.

This is not the case for another user.

I tried to log on to another mac that she and the same problem occurs.

I tried to clean up its preferences of Adobe Library /Preferences and I cleaned the Application Support folder with some Adobe stuff and it still happens.

There has got to be something in their profile.
I tried to watch Console but I can't make head nor tail of it against accidents.

I tried tracking down the cleaning tool, but could not find it for 9,55...

If the cleaning tool does not work then what else can I try?  I tried to update the software and it goes up to 9.55

He worked on the mac is not a compatibility problem.
I am under pressure to solve this problem quickly I can't wipe this mac because there other things about it and I have a feeling if I do that it won't yet make a difference.

I'm in hell IT with this one!
    Thanks for your time

  • Tag Word 2007 Acrobat, 'Create a PDF' Word crashes; two computers, Windows 7 and 10, Acrobat XI and DC

I had this problem for over a year but I had a few documents to create using Word 2007 add-in I need this ability to get links from the numbers in table of contents, cross-references and equation.  Both computers are running Windows 64 bit, both had the problem with Acrobat XI (and then Acrobat DC) running Windows 7 and now Windows 10.  Print to PDF works OK but no direct link, except that URLS are alive in the PDF file.  Documents are medium-sized, approximately 30 pages.  There's a period in December 2014 and 2015 at the beginning when I had some success with a document that had been systematically plant if I used the Word add-in.

In a machine I uninstalled Acrobat DC and re-installed Acrobat XI; no joy.  Simply, Word hangs immediately and returns without the Acrobat add-in.  I moved the paper to the other machine and tried with Acrobat DC, and it freezes.  There is a window of little info at the bottom of the main window of Word that says it paginates quickly on page 4 (from the table of contents, list of figures, list of tables, first page or two).  Then, it takes about 20 minutes per page.  The Adobe progress bar shows no progress, and the title bar says "Not responding."  Leave for hours is never past page 11.  Word of murder in the winks Task Manager it without saving dialog; He returned without the Acrobat add-in.

I use MathType 6 (current version) to my equations (many of them).  Both computers are very different; one is a laptop computer with four cores and 8 GB of RAM, the other a computer with 16 GB of RAM and eight cores.

Of course, I did all the steps of the first, as to ensure that the operating system and Acrobat are up-to-date, re-installing, fresh start, etc.  It's look like a problem of size of stack or heap of Acrobat, that makes no sense, because, well, new or malloc. There are a lot of free memory.  The laptop, dangling, uses a core (25% loading) and 26% of the 8 GB of RAM.

    Hi jkbeard,

    Try the steps below: -.

Check to see if that fixes the problem.

    Kind regards

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.5.5 / Crash when converting JPG to PDF

    Hi all

Don't know if anyone else has this problem that just started today.  I have about 8 JPG photos taken at 640 x 480 resolution (approx. total 654ko) I'm trying to "combine the files supported in Acrobat.  The program will take care of the dialog box to reorder the files, change the size of the output file, etc., but once I click on "Combine files" the 'status' stops to "convert...". "and throws the below error.  I also tried "drag and drop" files in an existing PDF, with the same result.  I have not had this problem before and usually perform this operation without any problem.  Can anyone shed light on what could happen here?  Oh yes, I use Windows 7 (64 - bit). Uninstall/reinstall makes no difference. The wheel starts turning as soon as the Find command is enabled.

We are working on a solution, and we are testing with the beta version of 10.9.3.   In the meantime, here's a suggestion based on our findings: instead of use find, use search instead.   You can call the search via the Edit menu or via .   Please give that a try.
