  The most recent version of the CSA is 5.7.0.15.1, published on 14/08/2015. However, it does not support the latest browsers except Internet Explorer 11. My organization supports using the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome. However, Cisco does not any version of Chrome or any Firefox version newer than 37.x as being compatible. I was informed by several Cisco support technicians who, using a browser not supported can cause database corruption if the browser is used to make changes via the web interface of ACS.

  Because the support of Cisco will blame explainable questions about using an unsupported browser, I'm forced to use a portable copy of Firefox running to the 37.0.2 version if I can get support without my browser version be blamed.   I would like to see Cisco officially support the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox. Together, these browsers are more widely used Internet Explorer and display the ACS web interface better than Internet Explorer.

  Browser for the Mac is still darker than Cisco officially supports Firefox 28.x, 29.x or 24.4 ESR. On a Mac, it would be useful to support the latest versions of Safari and Chrome with the latest version of Firefox.

  I suggest raising the issue to your account team so that it can be brought in the opinion of the developers. If there is a similar application of different customer so it might be a version supporting the latest versions of browser including chrome and safari.

• Problem with function "BD" in TestStand/LabWindows

  Hello, good day.

  I am having some problems with connection BD function I use in a personal function inside a DLL.

  I had a function called GetSensor , which I know it works because I have used and tested in the LabWindows environment.

  Its function is to return the value of an element in my database to give its input parameter, just that.

  

  My problem comes out when I tried to use this same feature in TestStand, it seems that the BD can only function in the same way of when used of LabWindows because always display a warning message, which is display only when the values of iHdbc are iHdbc is 11 or iHdbc is 10.

  I know that TestStand is the opening of my DLL locks function it always enter, but failed the part then try to connect to the database.

  I think that this could be a problem of compatibility with LabWindows, TestStand, but I can't find where I can change some options to solve this problem.

  The solution to my problem with the BD connection function should use NI TestStand 2014 (32-bit) instead of the version of NI TestStand 2014 (64-bit) that I used. Just that.

  I have a domain that was underway at a functional level of 2000 with an Exchange 2003 server.  I had a contractor improved functional level of the domain to 2003 to an exchange server 2010 online to replace the Exchange 2003 server, which he did, but I just discovered that there not upgrading the functional level of the forest.  We have discovered this as it moves to finally remove the Server 2003 out of the environment and visited account the functional level of the forest has been still in 2000.  My question is can we put the 2003 forest functional level, even if the domain is already in 2003 with no impact?  I know that this seems to be a classic case of reading is not things through.  A viable support or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

  I have no problem to install the drivers c309a using a Win 8.1 operating system that has all the undates installed, so I can print, however the software suite to operate other functions will not be installed.  When you use the latest version of the software of HP to win 8.1, it downloads and unzips but nothing after decompresses happen.  The Task Manager shows the configuration of the Installer (32-bit) HP running.  I left the Installer run for over an hour with no progress.  I repeated this process several times without success.

  I contacted HP and they told me the c309a printer is not totally compatibility with Win 8.1 in what all functions like the fax and scanning will not work.

  Also, I can see the printer installed from its address of sea.

  Is this correct?  Dose someone out there know the real story?

  Try following the steps below, and then reinstall the HP software and check any changes:

  1 open the Mcafee Virus and Spyware Protection software you are interested in, click on calendar and perform analyses. Click analysis in real time, and then click stop. Select until I restart the PC and confirm by clicking the button turn off.
  2. open the dialog box run by clicking on the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir%, and then click OK.
  3. type hpoins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)

• Cisco ACS 3.2 compatibility

  We have a few servers ACS 3.2 old, legacy and soon-to-be-replaced-with-5.1.  One of them had some serious problems and must be rebuilt.

  The current operating system is Win2k.  We were going to upgrade the OS to 2003 while he was down.  Are there problems of compatibility with 3.2 and 2003?  Anyone had any success is 3.2 to run on this?

  ACS 3.2 on Windows 2003 has never been tested, so we don't know whether or not you will encounter problems with 3.2 on 2003.  I see a problem that you might encounter where the GANYMEDE + and RADIUS services may not start automatically after a reboot and will have to be started manually:

  CSCsb81671 : services CSTacacs and CSRadius do not start with Windows 2003

  I personally would stick with Windows 2000 for ACS 3.2 since you are migrating out of these servers soon anyway.

  I'm trying to scan hundreds of documents as PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.5.5. I'm on Mac, the latest version of El Capitan and find that Preview 8.1, the PDF Viewer integrated for OS X, has difficulties to open a portion of my scanned documents. Interestingly, the only ones who have color in them. Black and white analysis open very well. I think it's an Apple problem, and not what I'm here for.

  Anyway, I went back to PDF it wasn't opening and Acrobat to remove compatibility with earlier versions of Acrobat. I kept compatibility with "Acrobat 4.0 and later versions. After that the file opened without problem in the preview. I noticed that the quality of the new PDF degraded slightly when I removed the compatibility. I guess that's because Acrobat must perform a new rendering of the PDF file.

  Is there a way I can create a PDF file to a JPEG file that is only compatible with versions 4.0 and later? I rather do pretty early in my workflow, and then go back and remove the compatibility and degrade image quality.

  First thing, Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Mac El Capitan.

  You should watch the unsaved Preferencessection. It could be a problem with the pref file that does not store the fact that this control has already been run.
