• Issue of ACS UCP

  I have ACS, IIS & UCP installed on the same Windows 2003 server. UCP has been installed recently. IIS configuration was made before the installation of the UCP.

  After installation I tried to UCP accessing through the URL http://localhost/secure/login.htm

  I get the login prompt. When I enter the user name and password, I get "cannot display page" Web page. Please let me know the resolution for the same thing.

• Connection of IOM database error

  Hi all

  I get the error in the log below the files all the time. Awhile back DB DEV_OIM password, DEV_MDS has expired and we had to change the password in DB and I've updated passwords in the data sources in weblogic...

  IOM is up and running but throws under error when I try to create a disconnected resource, it seems somwhere the old password is still there.

  I don't know how to find out what datasource or configuration update needed for this... Any ideas?

• PERC 6i memory error?

  I have a DELL PowerEdge 2900 III happened initially with 6i SAS E2K-UCS-61-(B) adapter.

  I received a PERC 6i E2K-UCP-61-(B) adapter installed on my PE 2900 III instead of the SAS 6i.

  Problem is that when I power on the server, I get the error:

  RAID adapter
  Memory error!
  Please check the connection of the SDRAM.

  I tried to remove all hard drives from the server and restart but still the same.

  How to reset the card if I can't access it is admin?

  Reinstall reset. Reconnect the device by removing it from its housing or connector and then reinsert to ensure that it is properly connected.

  I don't think you can access the controller to perform a reset with this type of error. I don't think that the controller will complete initialization.

  I encounter the following error when I try to create a new version for a form of OIM Design Console process:

  Description: Could not run the database to read. The database has encountered a problem with the specified SQL query. Solution: Check the database query. Contact your system administrator.

  I found the solution!

  I was going through this blog: OIM 11 g: error after startup server IOM: retrieve the connection at the base

  In the last comment by Amit, he mentioned that the settings IOM - config.xml must be changed.

  So I discovered that IOM-config file. XML from my environment, under directDBConfigParams, url (jdbc thin driver) was wrong because of cloning.

  In addition, OIMFrontEndURL, RMI and SOAP URL were wrong.

  I corrected the and guess what... each utility works...

  However, you don't have to import/export the config of MDS file... you can change these details in the following MBEANs

  1 DirectDB

  2. the discovery

  3 SOAConfig

  > Reboot the server of the IOM.

  I knew this jdbc driver was not, but did not know where to set it up.

  I have listed the error in my last comment, so that if anyone has this problem, the text of this presentation would help.

• Error in plugin Maven OJMake, the package does not exist

  Hi all

  I'm trying to compile the application oracle fusion middleware that is projects ViewController and models inside. Using Jdeveloper compile or deploy it works perfectly. But the company is moving all Maven projects, so I created project and application poms, added all the dependencies. Hitting the compile with the commented ojmake plugin works fine, but with the ojmake plugin model project compilation failed.

  Model has a dependency called sxreports which is a jar created by our company and stored in the repository maven local businesses, solved dependence and the appropriate version of the artifact is downloaded.

  I guess that you have correctly configured the maven ojmake plugin in your pom.

  Ojmake plugin uses the jpr to resolve dependencies. If you need to make sure that the pot is listed under project libraries and classpath.

• Oracle UCP hides the original exception

  First of all: I use Oracle RDBMS 11.2.0.3 and corresponding ucp.jar and ojdbc6.jar

  I use ucp to manage connections to the instance of oracle database.

  The problem is when my user name to username/password incorrect, I get exception with this message:

  oracle.ucp.UniversalConnectionPoolException: cannot get data source connection: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01017: name of user and password invalid. logon denied.

  But when I try to recover original SQLException using getCause, I get null.

  Looks like the ucp developers wrote in the catch block:

  Instead of:

  Else come you with that will cause problems as well.  There is nothing that prevents the exception (regardless of the source) message of change, or even to change the error number.

  FYI - also might note that it would be unusual for a real user to enter a user and a password to access Oracle.  Most business idioms should not work like this.  More in an application where the bcp utility (or any pool) is suitable.  The most common idiom of business where a user would enter a usr\pwd would be an IDE database (or similar applications of stand-alone client).  And there is no reason that the use of a swimming pool.

  It's a very old version of OC4J and an older APEX listener, too. Is there a reason for not choosing a more recent version?
  Despite this, your OC4J could also use a version of Java not picked up (and outdated). APEX listener needs at least a JDK 1.6 Update 20.
  Please check if your OC4J uses a suitable JDK.

  I have experienced this problem with executing scenarios in asynchronous mode when the source and target are in the same database.

  I have 4 layers - landing (table source as-is), directing (only the columns, I need to ask), integration (transformations based on the staging), Dimensions (creation of dimensions and fact tables).

  I came across this particular question to ask to stage, where it seems that landing packages are not close the connection in time for packets of staging pick up of the resource.

  There are a few things you can try:
  Set the initial and maximum connections in the connection pool of weblogic for the ODI master repository. I found this helps a little but always causes problem when loading large tables. Change is possible via the console in weblogic (port default 7003) ODI-> navigate to Services-> Data Sources, select the ODI Master repository, then click on the tab Connection Pool - update of the initial capacity and capacity-> Lock & Edit then activate/register the changes.

  Or - what I found works without problem is:
  Make all synchronous in the parcel scenarios or just interfaces in the package instead of the scenarios (as they always run in the series).

  Hello Manu,

  As above the expert says that you are facing in tablespace TEMP error 128, it will cause loading data source DB to C$ table.
  If you get USER tablespace to error 128, this will cause while loading data frin C$ I table $ table.

  For two cases, you ned to increase the table space, ask your DBA to increase the TEMP tablesapce and a tablespace USER because, if the tablespace TEMP solved, you can get USER tablespace error while data from C$ table at I$ table

  Next, I created the script called MyScenario for this interface and odiparams.bat update file *...\agent\bin* file as follows:

  Hi Andy,.

  I think that this error was triggered due to a failure of Oracle servers that contain the schema definition for validation.
  The two http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/web-app_2_4.xsd URLS have been temporarily low today but shows a splash screen, for schema validation failed.
  Currently, the system seems to be again. Could check you if it still works?

  The error message tells me that you have configured a thick jdbc connection, the T2CConnection is
  a thick client using the SPOUT connection. Please check how you set up your connection
  in AWM. You will find that you have provided for the connection string tns alias instead of
  Host: port: sid. It seems that you don't want or need a BEC type connection thick jdbc so it please
  check and update the connection string to connect to the AWM host: port: SID.

  After extensive research and study of the CSA, I just know that's not possible. You must replace the PDF file if you want to update the metadata information.

  You can change the metadata stored in the ACS4 database using the appropriate administration API (ManageResourceItem in this case) web.  You want to see the Tech Ref for details.

  This will not however change the metadata that are in the ePub - for this, you need to change the ePub and then repackage it.
