ACT for server applications database

We are looking to migrate the applications that are running on Windows 2000/2003, Windows 2008 platform.

May I know if the Application compatibility toolkit (ACT) tool provides a repository of industrial grade applications that are compatible with Windows server 2008 Server? In the affirmative, please let me know how to download the data.

Believe the law provides a similar list for Windows 7 applications.

Cannot install the behavior extension for server and database for Dreamweaver CC 2014

I try to install the server behavior & extension of the database in my CC of Dreamweaver 2014 of the trial. I've added it to https://creative.adobe.com/addons/patches/2176#.VGJ7TvnF-DA and it shows I have, but it has not yet appear in Dreamweaver. I followed the steps outlined in the troubleshooting list:

The application of CC desktop is installed and running
Synchronization of files is enabled
After that, I tried to install it through the Adobe Extension Manager. As soon as I loaded up the Manager has crashed. Whenever I open it crashes immediately. Here is the error report:

I then removed my addons, then deleted and reinstalled the extensions Manager. As soon as I tried to open the Manager it still crashes.

Try the following.
1. Uninstall the current extension.
2. Install the DMXZone extensions Manager
3. Using the extension Manager DMXZone, install the connections/data server behaviors panel

I have servers from database (11.2.0.2) with (tcp.invited_nodes in sqlnet.ora) IP filtering. Another database server (let's call it the CBD) has a database of links to servers with IP filtering. BDC server has two network interfaces, only the one which is registered in sqlnet.ora remote database. How do I apply Oracle to use only this network (i.e. one IP addresses possible) interfaces when connection to the remote database?

Oracle will just obey the rules of routing in place on the server and use the ip address that would allow him to get there. Netowrking will use the default gateway defined on the server, unless there is a routing rule expicit saying to use another interface.

I am a student at the University of Cairo EGYPT I have question regarding oracle 10 g, which works on windows server 2003.
Please find attached picture is company that I train now.
they have real server they installed on that two virtual server using vmware
first contain Oracle 10 G database.
second contain applications (modules of house ware, Sales module, Director of sales, CEO).
When I need to access database
first of all, I need to access applications server and application server, then access the database server.
When I asked HE Admin
Why run server applications and Server database on both real virtual server?
He told me it is recommended to run the applications (modules) server and the database server separately.

Yes, that's correct. (Preferably) direct mode when the application and TimesTen are on the same machine. UNIX domain socket and shared memory IPC server local (only for cases of special purpose given that the direct mode is faster and more) and normal TCP/IP client/server (local or remote).

The specific details on how the application connects depends on which API that it uses (ODBC, OCI, Pro * C, JDBC, ODP .NET). For ODBC and JDBC, you must specify a data source name and use the driver corresponding (direct-mode driver or client driver). For the OIC that is configured through SQL * Net and TNSNAMES. ORA and for ODP .NET, I don't remember without it looking up. Please see the TimesTen for relevant API documentation for full details.

No, you can't. There is no way to use the forms/reports 10g with 11i instance. Server Applications Oracle 10 g can be used to deploy the SSO, discoverer, portal... etc.

Yes you can do it outside if you wish, two programs I've used SQLite Browser and sqlitestudio two do work but sqlitestudio has more features and is the one I now use exclusively.

There are many others, however, simply search for sqlite application in google.

Lately, I'm getting this system error a lot now that I've upgraded to Windows 8 Pro is an event DistributedCom 10016 ID. Here is the text of the error:

Same thing here. Grayed. Windows 8.1 seems to fill the observer of events with many more errors than previous versions.

Edit: OK, discovered why it is grayed out. There are 2 reg key, you must set permissions before going to the Configuration of DCOM in component services. The CLSID key and the APPID key.

From another forum, although it applies to a different application, same principle:

1. open Regedit.
2. go in HKEY_Classes_Root\CLSID\ * CLSID *.
Note: * CLSID * stand for the ID that appears in your event viewer error. In your case, it is {C2F03A33-21F5-47FA-B4BB-156362A2F239}.
3. right-click on it and select authorization.
4. click on Advance and change owner to administrator. Also click on the box that will appear below the threshold of owner.
5. apply a full control.
6. close the tab, then go to HKEY_LocalMachine\Software\Classes\AppID\ * APPID *.
Note: * AppID * is the ID that appears in your event viewer. In your case, it is {316CDED5-E4AE-4B15-9113-7055D84DCC97}.
7 right-click on it and select authorization.
8. click on Advance and change the owner to administrators.
9. click on the box that will appear below the line owner.
10. click on apply and grant full control to the administrators.
11. close all tabs and navigate to the administration tool.
12. open component services.
13. click on the computer, click my computer, and then click DCOM.
14 find the corresponding service that appears on the display of the error.
15. right-click on it, and then click Properties.
16. click the Security tab, and then click Add a user. Add the SYSTEM and then apply.
17. check enable local.

Then use the relevant keys here and the DCOM Config utility should give you access greyed onareas:

8.3 tested SP1 configuration JDK for WebLogic Server (application server)

The base 8.3 had JRockit JDK Sun JDK as well as a tested configuration.
More late 8.3 SP1 counts Sun JDK as a tested configuration.
Can someone comment on that. If I decide to deploy SP1 with the latest available patch just 8.3 use Sun's JDK tested for the application server?

JRockit JDK is supported with P6 EPPM 8.3 SP1 and latest fix. The tested configuration for SP1 and above is an indication that additional certification of the last JDK was made. This does not necessarily mean that you have to upgrade to it, well recommended. Review the SP1 patch readme for more information.

Well, without testing your code, I can say that if you want to update the ObservableList in updateLobby, you must be sure that this happens on the thread of JavaFX, because only this thread is allowed to update the properties / observable (who are currently in an active scene graph).

So, I would change the code in updateLobby to this:

In my view, it is not applicable to the installation of R12, you can omit this step. If you have a stand-alone server Oracle AS10g and you must apply this hotfix, you must then check if the EJB is used or not.

What I am developing is a multiplayer game that resembles sites like pogo.com or games yahoo where it is multiplayer with separate rooms and each of these information shared rooms, but not between them. Of course, it will also need to access database. I've developed in the FMS but now I found the existence of remote access and I was wondering who would be a better solution for me and if anyone can explain the clear difference between the two and a sample application for each?

Flash Remoting allows your clients Flash or FMS server communicate with the remote application server as J2EE or Cold Fusion. Your client platform didn't need to run Java to use Flash Remoting, but the remote application server is of course if you choose to connect to a server such as Tomcat or WebSphere J2EE.

FMS, on the other hand, is an Adobe server application that can accept connections from clients Flash via RTMP protocol. It can run the game logic side server but it cannot connect directly with a database and so you need Flash Remoting of anyway, or XML sockets (see below) to act as an intermediary for database queries. In addition, FMS includes only ActionScript 1.0.

A 3rd and maybe the best solution is to use the XMLSocket class in your Flash client to communicate with your game server. The game server can then be written in the language of your choice and can therefore speak directly with a database if you wish.

I used the 3rd approach to write a chat client Flash which uses XMLSockets to connect with a chat server written in Java.

I have an application developed using developer 6i, forms, and reports, as well as the Oracle 10 g for a school database. The application consists of student information, collection of fees and sms sending to parents.
There are a lot of problems, with this app, DB is very heavy I'm using Oracle DB 10 g, installtion of 6i developer on the latest version of windows is another puzzle etc.
Now, I want to pass to the application of the latest technology, but want this are light weight.
Can I develop an application of light weight with ADF web application?
Also, I want to use mysql as database.
