Add columns or lines available to grid after initialization.

I'm following tutorial for JDeveloper 10g ADF (Yes, I know I should use the most recent version, but the tutorial is done for this version) and I've initialized checkerboard like this:

Screen Shot 08-15-14 at 10.31 AM.PNG

After awhile, I realized, I need more lines, but I can't find a way to add as many lines?

How do I do that if it's possible?

This will get interesting. Swing is not used here for quite awhile. The last time I used the Swing is 10 years ago

As far as I know you can do this by using the graphical mode. You have to directly in the generated source files. This is just from memory (see statement above).

  • How to add the new line?

    Hello

    I wrote a select statement, the data is displayed, and I want to add a new line, how do?

    There is no icon "more (add)" the above data.

    Then, you insert first a table, then in the other.

    If you choose multiple tables so you are most likely to join them in some way, and when joins between in the field (or even worse grouping functions) you're sure source of data you see actually (this is the reason why by default you cannot insert data from a select query), as it is perfectly possible to select only a single column in a single table , but if this table has multiple columns and one of them is defined as NOT NULL, and you're not selecting then you are out of luck and you cannot insert of your select query.

    There are cases when the insertion is possible and where it is not SQLDeveloper try even to guess if they can put your query, and is a good decision, when the data changes, it is always better to think first of my humble OPINION and you might forget that if edit you a query result grid.

                if (index != 0) {
                    graphics.setColor(Color.BLACK);
                    graphics.drawLine(0, y - height + 1 , width, y - height + 1);
                }

    It worked properly. Thanks a lot Peter and Simon.

    There is no LIMIT to the 'free' version  If you read the error message he said THAT was not a valid identifier.  Just to show you that I tried your erroneous statement

    ALTER TABLE hf_altertest ADD COLUMN state2 CHAR(2);

    How to set the 1st online number = 10 and increment 10 whenever you press the button to add a new line. Also enable users to enter the generic numbers, IE 13 and still increment of 10 23 or whatever.

    I already have my chart updated in place with a button that will add new lines when pressed.

    Now, I want to clarify that the 1st row is 10 and all the other rows after this increase by 10. It will also allow users to enter any number they want, and the next line will increment of 10.

    Help please.

    Try changing the line button Add the following JavaScript code

    newRow var = Table1._Row1.addInstance)

    If (newRow.index > 0)

    {

    newRow.NumericField1.rawValue = newRow.resolveNode ('Row1 [-1].) NumericField1') .rawValue + 10;

    }

    You need to change this code to match your name on the form, but basically the method addInstance() returns the new row, the newRow.resolveNode ("Row1 [-1]... will get the value of the previous row and then add 10.

  • How to add an imaginary line in the result of the value of a SELECT statement.

    Hello all-

    I have requirment to add an imaginary line in the result set of a SELECT statement.

    For example lets say it is a pay table having the following columns:

    Number of Payment_id
    status varchar2 (10)

    date of payment_date

    so here's the data: -.

    Payment_id status amount payment_date

    2 Reversed 200 01 / 06/2009
    Applied 3 300 01 / 07/2009

    Here is my SQL

    Select * form payment where payment_date > = 01/01/2009

    The output will be

    2 Reversed 200 01 / 06/2009
    Applied 3 300 01 / 07/2009

    My desired output is less than

    Applied 3 300 01 / 07/2009
    reversed-200 2, 01 / 06/2009-(Dummy Row)

    Third line here is the imaginary line that I add when the status is "reversed".

    NB. You may need to mess around with the order if that is not in the order you want. You did not mention what the rules were for all orders expected, so I composed my own * {;-)

    Also, I added a (cust_id) identifier to differentiate different types of payments, as is usually the case. Remove unless it is not applicable to your case.

    No, there is no limit to the maximum number of rows. It depends on the memory and available space on your machine.

  • Add a blank line, while Double spacing turned on

    Sometimes, I want to add an additional line to a double spaced document. Is it possible to do so and to map it to a keyboard shortcut, so I don't have to go back a single space and double?

    This can be done via a text selection and new paragraph styles, a unique space and a double-spaced, with appropriate function key assignment. For each of these settings, you can a leading of 120% (1,2) simple and 240% (2.4) for line spacing. I suggest using accurate rather than single or double choices and then plug the values representing the spacing that appears just for your writing style and the main objective.
