Before you can add a Bluetooth compatible device to your computer, you must do two things to make sure that your computer and the device are ready to connect:

Step 1

Add a Bluetooth adapter to your computer if it does not already have one. You can do this by plugging the adapter into a USB port.

Some computers come with a built-in Bluetooth adapter, including laptops. You will have to perhaps turn the adapter, or use a switch on your laptop to turn it on if your laptop has a. This can be called a Bluetooth switch. It could be called a wireless switch, or something similar. If you do not know how to activate the Bluetooth adapter or your computer has a built-in Bluetooth adapter, check your computer's manual or the manufacturer's website.

Step 2

Set up the Bluetooth compatible device so that your computer can find it.

b. make it discoverable.

When an active Bluetooth peripheral device is in discoverable mode, it broadcasts a wireless signal that allows it to be detected by other devices or computers. This is sometimes called pairing mode. When most of the devices are detectable, they are also in pairing mode, ready to be paired with your computer.

    The library 'Add folder' does not work in the Menu 'Settings' of Media Center.

    On the other hand, it works via a right click on the window of DVD library.

    IE: when you're in the Livrary DVD, right-click and choose Add movies.

    This is a bug not documented in Media Center!

    I was running a Windows 7 on a 64-bit computer. A Lenovo Thinkpad, due to some strange reason, that my computer has started to slow down and suspended. I ran all kinds of tests to see if it was a virus, but the computer is clean as a whistle.

    I decided to reinstall the operating system to see if it was a HARD drive problem or just software. I couldn't find my windows 7 ultimate DVD so I installed the Vista 32 bit and it works fine. The only problem that I face, it's that his does not detect does not the wireless network card. I went to control panel > Device Manager > network adapters and can't find LAN options.
    I'm sure that the wireless adapter exists because I used it for more than 6 months.
