Addition of a generation of finite pulse delay generates the error-200305

Hello

Sorry, I'm relatively new to the generation of pulses. Please help me understand why I get an error-200305 in my example VI Test Pulse Generation.vi when you specify an initial period. Other than the creation of a task and giving it a name, the code looks the same for me as the code in the example LabVIEW Gen dig Pulse Train - finished - Dig Start.vi comes with LabVIEW. When I enter the same settings in Gen dig Pulse Train - finished - Dig Start.vi, I do not get this error. What could happen?

I use a DAQ OR-PCI-6031E map on a 64-bit Win7Pro and am under LabVIEW 2011 (64-bit).

Thank you for your help and forgive me for a perhaps trivial question.

Peter

Hi pbuerki,

I tried the 2 screws you attached and found that if you replicate math you used in "Generation of Test pulses" for entries of the example VI, VI example will give you the same error. I think your VI and the example behaves exactly the same way.

However, I found a solution for this error. I tried this on a simulated device, but I think this should work for your physical device as well. For your DAQ card, he sometimes give you the error at very low frequencies because the default driver is the basis of time of 20 MHz and for some combinations of frequency and the number of pulses, the time base produced more ticks than the counter can handle. To work around this problem, you need to use a DAQmx channel property node. You will need to use the CO. Channel CtrTimebaseSrc property to set the time base to be DevX/100kHzTimebase. You must activate the setting 'Understand the advanced terminals' in the name of I/O filtering to find. This change should fix your error.

  • How can I specify a delay generates a pulse meter?

    Hi all

I have a question on the use of the meter to generate the pulse train. I did not how to program but I try the test panel in MAX and I see that it generates pulse train to certain rates and with a pulse duration. I think if it is possible to generate only a single pulse with given the duration of the impulse to sometimes after I start the job? I have a code to generate an analogue waveform, waveform of 35ms. I wonder if it is possible to synchronize the output of the analog waveform and counter such to 12.5ms after that the output waveform has started, I send this unique pulse from the meter port on. I have no idea how to do that, I think to use a delay but it is difficult to accurately control the time exactly 12.5ms.

Well, assuming DAQmx_Val_Low for the resting State, fires the meter will wait the initial delay and then generate a pulse at the time you request.  Little time is not actually used in this example simple impulse.

From what you described, you must add a trigger to start your task of meter output (DAQmxCfgDigEdgeStartTrig) to you can set the meter to trigger off the beginning of analog output trigger.  Set the initial delay on the counter for 12.5 ms.  Start the task of counter in front of the task of the analog output.  You should get your pulse 12.5 ms after you have started the task of the AO.

  • Delay between the addition of peripheral support and to be visible?

I added a device supported in the portal provider. When I disconnect and reconnect and check, it is there in the list of devices selected for this version. However, it does not appear in the list of devices if I check in the App World. Is there a delay between the addition of new devices and them being visible/allowed to download? How long is it? Or is there something else I need to do to add new devices supported for existing versions?

I believe that the original deadline for metadata changes is nominally a day, while there may be further delays (up to a week?) so the App World client is caching information. I don't think that there is a good description of what exactly is subject either of these delays, but it's a good bet that you will see at least one. These are probably not involved if you view App World via a web browser.

    Thank you very much!

    Rostov,

Please use the Forums of NOR. I have seen the same behavior that you experience when you place your custom in the AI Multi-multifunction-Synch-AO VI. This behavior is because your personalized VI wasn't out the data you expect. When you wrote your data on you placed him in a graphic waveform and graphics have memory. So he was combining all data in a single chart, even though she was only being written in pieces. That's why when you place your VI in the other program that you saw only the last couple periods. I enclose a VI that I did which will display the step that you are missing, and I used one 'Add waveforms' VI to ensure that all data is saved correctly.  If you place this VI in the code you should see everything correctly. Let me know if you have any questions.

I have attached the VI in version 8.6 and 8.0, if you need a later version of 8.0, let me know.

  • Delay when the frequency of a tone is changed

    Dear users of the forum,

I have a problem with the generation of a signal to VFD.

I do this as in the attached program.

    The problem is the following:

When I change the frequency, it does not change immediately. There is a delay until the change can be heard.

How can I get rid of the delay/how can I make it smaller?

I would greatly appreciate any help!

Change the number of samples/ch in his output configure let 500. That should do the trick

  • Delay of the dialog 'Copy the file' when you drag a file to a folder that already contains.

Delay of the dialog 'Copy the file' when you drag a file to a folder that already contains.  The dialog box only appears when that I disconnect.  In fact this problem can seriously mislead the user. The file has been copied to or not? This is a serious shortcoming of the operating system.
A similarly delayed dialog box is to join files on a send to the recipient of the message.

What is the cause of the delay? Dialog boxes are not under other windows - they break on screen as I log out.

When I drag AGAIN the same file in the same folder, then I get a message that "the action cannot be completed because the file is open in another program.  (No doubt the program who was trying to copy in the first attempt and waits for a response to the dialog box may not show me!)

    Lorien, thanks for your response.
A lot of time and effort was exercised in an attempt to find out WHY. I wanted to not just fix the symptoms. It concerned me greatly as a basic function of the operating system does not work. He was not fit for purpose. In the end I found that a third-party application compromised of WINDOWS VISTA 32-bit operating system. If an operating system can not reliably inform the user that an operation is successful or not, it is worthless. In the case above, I didn't move the files was a success (no response required) or the delayed response until I signed.

In addition to the original problem, there was the following problem: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistanetworking/thread/24068518-31e0-4b23-823b-d54882792301 where "send to..." 'Recipient' disable the context menu in Explorer for JPG does not or not broken.

So I downloaded the MS debug tools and confirmed my suspicion of dllhost.dll using REGEDIT to set debugging on that.
To cut a long story short, it's DivX 7.2 which caused me grief.  In particular, the file DivXDecH264.ax 'has an access violation - code C0000005 (first chance).  It has been autonomous in DivX Plus DirectShow Filters.     Thus, when it has been deleted (starting other Articles to original install DivX) through Control Panel of configuration/programs and features my system worked perfectly well.

I know SFA on the architecture of Windows but why was this DivX file loading and cause an access violation whenever I used the windows Explorer?  How an operating system may fail in a basic function of by a third party issue?  There are some newspaper where this access violation was recorded?  It was only possible to identify it in debugging?

  • 2 minute delay in the RESTART system after Windows 8 upgrade to 8.1

After the upgrade to Windows 8.1 I now see a delay in the RESTART function.  After you select the RESTART, the system terminates normally.  The power light stays on, the screen goes into sleep mode, but the system will wait 2 minutes before restarting.  After two minutes, the system appears to start Windows normally (as it does a cold start).  The delay is a uniform period of 2 minutes.

Update being suspended operations may be something, but it is difficult to say. I did a little research and I see events with ID in the 200 are associated stop (100 are related startup).

This page deals with the anatomy of the judgment (and use the Performance tool to try to trace issues):

Of your description and reading the information on this page, it looks like that your hangs occur during the KernelShutdown Phase.

Installation of the Toolkit and the follow-up of decisions are certainly advanced.  Let's just dig a little deeper.  In your registry, be sure that the value is 0 (zero) for the key ClearPageFileAtShutdown registry at this location:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management

In addition, we were able to test to see if there is a slow unloading kernel mode driver seeing if the same blocking occurs when the closure of the safe mode.  If it is fast (and it's of course better be!), we can try by using the process of elimination to find the culprit.

Maybe the current list of the song has the songs listed in alphabetical order, and you have the iPod nano to play in the order of the list...  How do you think iPod nano to read the list of songs?

    Hello

    Have you tried different players?

I've got a camcorder manufacturer, anthers and had a similar problem.
I think only the problem is that the camcorder high-definition audio and video recordings, but some players don t stand that perfectly.

I now use the Nero player with a digital extension. He plays very well. I also crazy good experience with the VLC media player.

  • Qosmio x 500-'delay in the delivery part' duration 2 months of repair

I booked my laptop Qosmio x 500 for repair under warranty for a replacement of defective hard drive almost 2 months ago and just received a text from the repair center saying eta on the part is now for * next * months.

When I booked it, it still had two months or so left on the extended warranty with the machine, I bought. All of these bad reviews of the Toshiba warranty repairs make me nervous.

Initially, I learned that it would take two weeks to repair the guy to Joyce Mayne since the deposit is in another State.

A week and a half later I got my first text message to the repair center, saying that there was a delay in the delivery of the part and it will take another two weeks for the part to arrive.

I thought I 'which was fair, sometimes these things happen', and I think not too much of it until I called the Joyce Mayne store that day, he was supposed to be delivered to the store and I was told that 'delay in the parties' status was still in force and that it would take another two weeks...

So I call last week and I am promised it will certainly be in the store in a week Friday and they call me when it arrives.

Then I called the store and they say that it will certainly be in store next Friday...

So that brings us to today when I expect to pick up my laptop in two days, I get another text message telling me there is a delay in the delivery of the part and 'current eta for parts' is next month.

Where can I make a formal complaint? It is better to make a formal complaint? What is the normal amount of time it takes to do a repair on a laptop?

The offender at the boutique Joyce Mayne says that he is "just the Messenger", so I asked him to send me the phone number of the repair warehouse and I never received it.

  • Possible to set up buffer - delay in the implementation of large number of buffers - IMAQ trigger problem

    Hi all

I thought that I could transfer it here because it might be a more appropriate forum. I have a bit of time pressure, so I hope someone can help me. I'm having a problem with a program that I wrote to acquire and store images from a camera to linear scan.

My camera (SUI Goodrich, 1024 pixels) is connected to a card framegrabber (PCIe-1427), which is connected via a RTSI cable to a PCI-6731 card attached to a SCC-68 (series) connector M.  My goal is to drive a mirror galvanometer scanning and acquire images from the camera continuously on each scan. As the galvo scan will be the frame of an image (1024 pixels x 1024 lines).

I managed to do it (I think), as my direct purchase program works exactly as I expected. However, when I try to save the images, I noticed that for a larger number of images, the starting point of the image is shifted the same amount for each image. I'm not really sure what's going on, it seems to me that there is a delay in the use of the VI "IMAQ set up buffer" when a larger number of buffers is used, (or even 100). Is it possible that my hardware trigger does not wait for all buffers to be configured before you start to run?

I would really appreciate any idea or ideas that anyone could have on this issue.

    Sincere greetings,

    Gill

I fixed the problem by doing that I don't use actually 1000 stamps to save 1000 frames. Program works if the number of buffers is lowered.

  • PID control with big delay in the process variable

    Hello

My goal is to control the temperature via a valve and heat exchanger. I proceeded variable (temperature) measured from a hose. This temperature should be raised a few degrees with a heat exchanger. So basically I need to order a valve that allows the water to flow through the heat exchanger to raise the temperature to the desired level.

My original plan was to use a base PID regulation to operate the dispenser. However, it is about 0.5 to 1 minute of delay time in the temperature probe after I opened the valve, which increases the temperature. This leads to a situation where the PID regulation valve fully open during this period (trying to get the temperature rise). Then once the temperature begins to rise it fires quite quickly. PID begins turning the tap off almost immediately, but because of the time delay in the sensor, the temperature exceeds seriously. This led to severe oscillation and at worst unstable processes. I tried to adjust the PID control to "predict" the timer to close the valve in advance to minimize the excess, but failed.

I would appreciate if anyone has any ideas how to make this type of control with Labview PID functions. I also wonder if there is a better type of control procedure for this scenario as a PID control?

    -Lars

This is a very common situation in the heating control, and generally PID can be adjusted to make it work. How do you do the tuning? If you do it by trial and errors, you have little chance to succeed. For a slow process with time delay, I like to use the method Cohen Coons, or similar open Ziegler-Nichols-loop method. The idea is that you temporarily remove or disable the PID. Set the valve in a fixed position and wait for the temperature to stabilize. Then, change the setting of the valve and record temperature at regular intervals data until the temperature is stable again to a new value. Use these data to get the initial values of PID using the equations provided by the tuning method you choose.
