• Commercial DVDs do not play on MacBook Pro.  "Not allowed" and "Supported disc not available" is displayed.  DVD plays normally when inserted in a different drive.

  I can not install updates, including Service Pack 2 and IE 8. I managed to fix the other error messages, but this one is a winner.

  I can't follow the steps here because I don't have an installation DVD. The laptop doesn't have a CD/DVD-ROM internal drive and did not come with a disc because everything was preinstalled. Even if I had a disc, my computer does not recognize the CD/DVD-ROM external drive when it is plugged in (a problem at a time!), so it would always help. "The System Update tool does not work on this machine, probably because of that pesky little" compatible operating systems: Windows Vista Service Pack 2 "requirement. I so need SP2 to download the tool which will allow my computer to install SP2? Nice little catch-22 there. I agree with the irony. I disagree with not being able to install updates at all, ever.

  Is it possible to re - install without a disk? Can I solve this problem at all or I'll have to take the laptop to Best Buy and ask them to do some voodoo Geek Squad to it?

  Check if your computer has a recovery partition.
  If the computer has a recovery partition, use the recovery partition to restore the computer to factory settings.
  Note:   All programs and data will be lost.  You can make a backup of all important data and reinstall programs.

  Hello and welcome to the HP support forums.  Sorry to hear about hard drive failure.  Now for the bad news.  There is no driver support for windows 8.1 for your laptop.

  The laptop was produced with Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit edition not windows 8 or 8.1, so it's drivers did not support to your system unless you reload Windows 7.

  Hi I have a HP Pavilion H8 - 1360t desktop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I tried to create defined 5 discs recovery but the errors received during the process. Disc 1 Burns fine, but when I put in the 2nd disc, I guess that the program does not like this disc because he said something in the sense that it is incompatible. So after he ejects the disc, I put in another disc and click Next. Rather than continue to burn disc 2, it jumped directly to disk 3. He did the same thing when I put in the next disc and popped disc 4. I only have disks 1, 3 and 5 of the recovery set as she claims, she did it with success. I used Fuji Film DVD + R discs.   Because there was a problem creating your HP recovery disc set, you should be able to contact HP Customer Support and ask for a free recovery disk set. When you talk to them the disks, wondering how both recovery programs you the 'free' from Adobe.

  c. restart the computer and check if the problem persists.

  They are the same version of windows? If so, it does not matter. If they are not: win + pause/break or start menu, make a computer right click, properties. This will pull up what edition you are running (32 or 64)

  I had problems with my titles not appearing is not on my pages of CF. Finally, I looked at the source of the page in the browser and found that CF is the extra insertion < html >, < head > and < body > tags at the beginning of the pages. (see examples below). I'm sure it's the CF engine that did this because I took a cfm page and just change the extension of html and everything worked fine (except the CF code). There is no additional tag inserted and the titles appear. I also noticed that the CF engine seems to be adding the first line <! DOCTYPE HTML... >

  Take a look at your file Application.cfm or Application.cfc, you have probably the code in there (Application.cfc/cfm works first on each page request)

  I thought it would have been good to multiplex OCR/vote at least 2 different ASM starts...
  
  I'm also confused because the oracle documentation says that, for most installations, starts at only 2 would be enough ("Data + index + LOBs" and "FRA").
  
  In a matter of fact, what I was planning to do is have 3 starts in this configuration (data, index + LOBs, FRA) and have OCR and vote multiplexes on TWO 'data' and 'Index + LOB '. But now I don't know if the sharing of data and indexes have a meaning, ASM...

  I really do not recommend putting database files and clusterware together. This may disturb the management of the environment and could dowtime. (for example, you can never stop the diskgroup)
  for example: files with right to vote are not stored in the diskgroup (+ data), they are placed directly into asmdisk, then in case of maintenance in the diskgroup, for example to increase the size of the lun, you can just delete the asmdisk, you must move the files with right to vote in another place and realize the diskgroup maintenance.

  Dowtime? Yes... You can move only the voice and the ocr without interruption of service, but to move ASMSPIFILE, you need downtime. This is necessary for ASM using new SPFILE and release the old Diskgroup. * ORA-15027: active use of the diskgroup opposes its release (with no connected customer database) [ID 1082876.1*]
