Addition of Vista Premium Home Edition basic

I had Vista Premium Home Basic addition with my Toshiba U400. Due to some problems, I had to format my laptop. Now, after the system, I realized that I don't have the recovery disk. I have the genuine cd key, but no operating system. Can you please let me know how to set the vista with this genuine key.

Hello

It is Vista Home Basic, Vista Home Premium, not a combination of the two you have.

If you ever have a disc, you would likely have a recovery partition to reinstall from.

But we have no idea what you did for her through formatting your hard drive that you never told us what exactly you did or what you have done with.

Choose a way to these options:

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

We do not know if it still exists:

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

You can do what you formatted where BONE has been

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

See you soon.

  • Maximally connected in a workgroup - Windows 7 Home Edition basic members

I use Windows 7 home Basic, I would like to know if I create a working group, which is the maximum number of systems I can connect... What is the limitation of members of connection windows 7 Home Basic to the working group.

    Thank you

    Kind regards
    Rocky.SMF

Might ask two questions. There is no limit to the number of machines that can be in a working group. However, it would be impractical to a perspective of bandwidth management and computer network. Once you get more than 8-9 machines, it's time to focus on the implementation of a domain with a real server.

What you really know is the limits of simultaneous incoming connections to a pseudo-server. While limitations exist in Windows 7, just as they do in XP and Vista, I can't find an article in the Knowledge Base of MS indicating their. In XP and Vista, the limits are 5 for Home editions and 10 for Professional editions / Business. Autour Googling, I found the Thurrott comparison chart that shows that all editions of Windows 7 have a limit of 20 connections:

    http://www.winsupersite.com/Win7/win7_skus_compare.asp

Please note that the limitations are on cGeoConnections and no computers or users . Each computer can - and often do - make multiple connections to a server nickname of.

Have you tried using Anytime Upgrade?

If the license for Windows 7 Professional, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade from Windows 7 Home Basic to Windows 7 Professional. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Professional on demand, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Professional your files, programs and settings retained.

Related to Internet explorer, you can download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org or Chrome from http://www.google.com/chrome and use them as alternatives.

Regarding backups, I suggest avoid you the Windows backup program and you get a good commercial backup program. This forum meets for a windows problem reports. I know that I was very impressed when I tried it. Three I'm familiar with and like Norton Ghost (which I use for 8 years no 1 problem), Easeus Todo Backup free, you can download it on http://www.todo-backup.com/products/home/free-backup-software.htm and Memeo, which has 30 day free trial and you can buy it for $29.99 - you can download it from http://memeo.com . You can get Ghost for almost nothing (like me), if you look at the sales.
The March 2012 issue of PC World is very high on Easeus FREE program, and I was recently tested in a variety of configurations and must say that I am very impressed.  As Ghost will support up to a network drive and it will create a bootable CD for when your PC does not start.  See commentary to PC World to

External hard drives are the best for backup. You can get a 500 GB one for $70 and a 1.5 to one for about $90. You can also buy a flash drive 16 GB for as little as $10. It is the best insurance you can buy ever!

  • Reinstall Windows 7 Home Edition Basic, is not installation media

Original title: can someone help me

I have WINDOWS 7 HOME BASIC 64 - bit version of license with key in my laptop. I want to reinstall my windows but don't have CD or DVD.

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

When the computer was delivered to you there is a partition recovery disk and specific instructions on how to make a series of recovery disks that obviously did you not.  Manufacturers don't just ship disks like they used to do.
