Additional logging

Hi all

Additional registration has been activated at the level of the table for the primary key with the statement below

ALTER table < schema >. < table > add additional data log columns (primary key);

But under query returns nothing

Select * from DBA_LOG_GROUP_COLUMNS where owner = < schema >;

Instead of registering at the

Select * from dba_log_groups where owner = < schema >;

Can you please is because it has been activated as the primary key instead of individual columns?

Thank you.

Yes - you did NOT specify all the columns there is NOTHING to show in this view. As the API says:

ALL_LOG_GROUP_COLUMNSDescribes the columns that are accessible to the current user and that are planned in the newspaper groups

There was not "the columns that are available.. ' specified that none can be shown."

    What is happening to all 5 of my computers, all Windows 7 since I used Windows Update this AM. The interesting thing is that my Wifi network in my house does not require a "additional log in" and the internet was available. So, the "Additional log in" notification, which appears continually, even after opening a web page, is simply nothing more boring.

    Disabling Open DNS seems to fix the problem, but I don't want to turn it off. Looking for an answer to this problem, I found a registry change that solved this problem for someone else. Changing the registry Disenabled the "Active sensor", which is the value of 'Enable Active Probe' fell 1-0. I could do that except that I use Open DNS crypt, who encrypts all communications between the computer and the open DNS, a Wi - Fi security feature servers, and since I use these laptops on Wifi networks in places like McDonalds and Starbucks, I think I need notification Active Probe actually connect to their networks.

    Its for this reason

    Open regedit and navigate as follows:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet

    Double-click on EnableActiveProbing

    Change the value to 0. This is another site (what follows is OpenDNS). They are aware of this

    In order to solve this problem, please log in to the dashboard and select settings. After that, select your network and choose "Customize" in the left menu. You will be taken to a page that you will allow you to toggle enabled "NX domain redirect. Please disable this option.

    If additional logging is not enabled at the database level, you must change the table to enable additional logging at the level of the table.

    alter table  add supplemental log data (all) columns;
    alter table  add supplemental log data (PRIMARY KEY) columns;

  • Additional logging with Oracle 10 g 2 streams and Data Guard

    Hello

    I have a physical environment with DB Oracle 10 g 2 and Standby with Data Guard DR CONF. At the present time, this environment will be extended to a pattern of replication using 2-way Oracle Streams Replication (for replication to the central office of this branch, other channels will be added soon). The primary DB is replicated to the other primary DB (at the telephone exchange remotely).

    So, there's my question: it is completely necessary to specify an additional record on data sources (primary) to set the 2-way Streams replication? and, if it is completely necessary, then, can configure additional connection on primary without affecting their physical Standby, or what I have to do something special?

    Thanks in advance.

    Yes, for the streams you need additional registration. There is no impact on databases physical standby.

  • log Analyzer?

    I have installed server for fun and learning.

    This year, he was attacked several times.

    The problem is that I don't spend much time to check the logs, take a long time before I realized it.

    Is there a Log Analyzer or something that alert when there is a problem as an IP attempts a password for several hours?

    As far as I KNOW, there is no built-in log reduction and analysis within the OS X Server tools.   There are additional log analysis tools.

    If OS X Server it has some features of firewall in this area through pfctl(8).

    Botnets easy to circumvent the usual types of reactive treatment, however, a single test every one of a zillion hosts works as well as a bunch of a host tests and is much harder to block.   That usually means setting up an external firewall or VPN services and reducing the number of ports exposed.

    Switch back to certificates where you can and learn more about what can do for the passwords.

    Thank you for visiting the website of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.

    I recommend that you check the following:

    In the centre network and sharing, machines with questions, make sure that network discovery is turned on. On this same screen, click on connect to a network. You should see a list of available wireless networks. Ensure that the connection attempt is to yours.

    If your security provides encryption machines visitors should have the same code encryption.

  • applications of wireless Vista log on info

    Help, I recently did a reformatting my hard drive after experiencing severe performance issues.  The recovery was going perfectly until ready to connect to my home network.

    Basic FYI Info: operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium, platform is a HP Pavilion a6532F, wireless adapter is level a Mod # WNC - 0301-11g.  Before the system recovery I had never known any connection issues whatsoever.  I tried to connect either using the level a configuration utility or the Vista network and sharing the road.  Anyway translates as directed to the window "connect to a network" of Vista with the following warning "Additional log information is required to connect to connect to this network" under this heading in a smaller font is another warning 'you need to perhaps select a certificate, or enter a user name and password to connect to the network' then there are two options 'Enter / select additional log on information' or ' '. "to connect to a different network" choose the first option opens a window titled 'identification information of the entry' followed by three info blocks "User name", "Password" and "logon domain.  I got this computer with Vista as the only operating system of some two years and have never seen this scenario before connection.  I consider myself an advanced level of knowledge, user base have performed several troubleshooting attempts success but having had few problems with Vista, it left me speechless.  Appreciate any ideas to help me get started.  I hope that someone has had a similar experience.  Thank you!!

  • How do to the size of the log buffer reduce with huge Pages Linux

    Data sheet:

    Database: Oracle Standard Edition 11.2.0.4

    OS: Oracle Linux 6.5

    Processor: AMD Opteron

    Sockets: 2

    Carrots / power outlet: 16

    MEM: 252 GB

    Current SGA: GB 122 automatic shared memory (EAMA) management

    Special configuration: Linux huge Pages for 190 GB of memory with the page size of 2 MB.

    Special configuration II: The use of the LUKS encryption to all drives.

    Question:

    1. How can I reduce the size of the log buffer? Currently, it appears that 208 MB. I tried to use log_buffer, and it does not change a thing. I checked the granule size is 256 MB with the current size of the SGA.

    Reason to reduce:

    With the largest size of log buffer the file parallel write newspaper and the synchronization log file is averaged over 45 ms most of the time because she has dumped a lot of stuff at the same time.

    You have 32 processors and 252 GB of memory, so 168 private discussions, so 45 MB as the public threads size is not excessive.  My example came from a machine running Oracle 32-bit (as indicated by the size of 64 KB of threads private relative to the size of 128 KB of your son) private with (I think) 4 GB of RAM and 2 CPUs - so a much smaller scale.

    Your instance was almost inactive in the meantime so I'd probably look outside the Oracle - but verification of the OS Stats may be informative (is something outside the Oracle using a lot of CPU) and I would like to ask you a few questions about encrypted filesystems (LUKS).  It is always possible that there is an accounting error - I remember a version of Oracle who report sometimes in milliseconds while claiming to centisecondes - so I'll try to find a way to validate the log file parallel write time.

    Check the forum for any stats activity all over again (there are many in your version)

    Check the histogram to wait for additional log file writes event (and journal of file synchronization - the lack of EPA top 5 looks odd given the appearance of the LFPW and and the number of transactions and redo generated.)

    Check the log file to track writer for reports of slow writes

    Try to create a controlled test that might show whether or not write reported time is to trust (if you can safely repeat the same operation with extended follow-up enabled for the author of newspaper which would be a very good test of 30 minutes).

    My first impression (which would of course be carefully check) is that the numbers should not be approved.

  • No. before the value in the log file for the PK column on updates

    I can't seem to get 'before' values for columns which are PK appears in my trail files.  For example: when playing with a velocity template:

    #foreach ($op in $tx)

    #foreach ($col in the $op)

    After: $col.getAfterValue)

    If the operation is a DELETION, then the value of column PK * fact * appear in the front, if DELETIONS are fine.

    ... If the operation is an UPDATE, then the PK column value does * not * appear in both the front or after, if updates are broken.

    I tried to set the following in the parameters to my snippet... each with no change in the results:

    nocompressupdates

    getupdatebefores

    I run OGG Capture for Oracle Version 11.2.1.0.3 on Solaris, sparc 64-bit on the OGG is running against my DB Oracle redo logs.

    I'm under OGG Capture Version 11.1.1.0.0 on Solaris, sparc 64-bit of the system on which I am pumping files path, against which I'm reading the front of values in a userexit, as described above.

    Thanks for the tips / pointers.

    In order to get the PK column for an update, you must add an additional newspaper group that includes the primary key columns with the GGSCI ADD TRANDATA command. This is discussed in the Oracle GoldenGate Oracle installation and Guide in the section "To enable additional logging at the level of the table", found here:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E22355_01/doc.11111/e21406.PDF

    A combination to add TRANDATA and GETUPDATEBEFORES, you should get what you want. Here's more information:

  • Is not Table-level logging a sine qua non for replication?

    GG version 11.2.1.0.3
    RDBMS Version: 11.2.0.3 (Source and target are the 11.2.0.3 version)
    OS: RHEL 5.4

    After the first load using expdp, experimental using GoldenGate we are replicating the LMD of 5 tables (Uni-directonal) from the source to the target.

    DB level additional logging is enabled in the source.
    SQL> select SUPPLEMENTAL_LOG_DATA_MIN from v_$database;

    SUPPLEME
    --------
    YES
    We have not activated level table for these tables using the ADD TRANDATA command as
    GGSCI > add trandata SCOTT.EMP
    He checked by running
    GGSCI (cbrdf2) 2> info trandata SCOTT.*

    Logging of supplemental redo log data is disabled for table SCOTT.EMP.

    Logging of supplemental redo log data is disabled for table SCOTT.XXX.

    .
    .
    But replication works without any problem. Then, is not table-level logging a sine qua non for replication?

    Only one of the logging method above is sufficient?

    Database-level logging is minimal logging necessary to capture updates to PK columns. For your INSERTIONS and deletions will get replicated, even if at the level of the array logging is not enabled.
    However, updates of non-PK columns will not be get replicated if the level table record is not enabled.

  • Extract SQL Server - error - OGG-00868 Supplemental logging is disabled

    Hello

    We strive to replicate from a SQL Server 2008 database to the Oracle database, but when you try to start the extraction process that we get the following error message:

    OGG-00868-additional recording is disabled for the database 'GoldenGate. To enable logging, follow these steps: 1) value 'trunc. log on chkpt.' to false. (2) create a full backup of the database. Please refer to the "Oracle GoldenGate for Windows and UNIX Administration Guide" for more details.

    I read that for the activation of additional logging is sufficient to 'Add table_name trandata' and this is done, and we use the extraction process is the following:

    EXTRACT cap_or4
    SOURCEDB GoldenGate
    TRANLOGOPTIONS MANAGESECONDARYTRUNCATIONPOINT
    EXTTRAIL c:\GoldenGate\V28983-01-GG-111112-SQLServer-Windows-x64\dirdat\C4
    TABLE GoldenGate.dbo.DES_T1;

    And the "trunc.log on chkpt ' set to false.

    We do not know what to do, or to check... someone has an idea?

    Thank you very much, best regards,
