applications of wireless Vista log on info

Help, I recently did a reformatting my hard drive after experiencing severe performance issues.  The recovery was going perfectly until ready to connect to my home network.

Basic FYI Info: operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium, platform is a HP Pavilion a6532F, wireless adapter is level a Mod # WNC - 0301-11g.  Before the system recovery I had never known any connection issues whatsoever.  I tried to connect either using the level a configuration utility or the Vista network and sharing the road.  Anyway translates as directed to the window "connect to a network" of Vista with the following warning "Additional log information is required to connect to connect to this network" under this heading in a smaller font is another warning 'you need to perhaps select a certificate, or enter a user name and password to connect to the network' then there are two options 'Enter / select additional log on information' or ' '. "to connect to a different network" choose the first option opens a window titled 'identification information of the entry' followed by three info blocks "User name", "Password" and "logon domain.  I got this computer with Vista as the only operating system of some two years and have never seen this scenario before connection.  I consider myself an advanced level of knowledge, user base have performed several troubleshooting attempts success but having had few problems with Vista, it left me speechless.  Appreciate any ideas to help me get started.  I hope that someone has had a similar experience.  Thank you!!

I'm not a guru real network, but I have this indicates that your PC think its part of a domain.  Check the configuration of your PC to see if you are part of a workgroup or a domain.  If the latter, change the old and try again. Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]

"Error - Service of Intel PROSet/Wireless event log stopped working andwas closed."

It started a month ago. I can't tell at all what I did--except that I installed a router Linksys Cisco Wireless (802.11 N), replacing an old Netgear device (802.11 G).  My wireless feature works well and I really do not notice the effects to receive this error message.  I don't remember having this error immediately after installation of Linksys.  I "think" some time elapsed before the error started - but I don't re-boot often, so it could be related.

    Hello

I have Satellite U200-196. It says on the page of the product that I should have Wireless Key Log-On feature, which means that I can log on windows with a phone mobile bluetooth. The problem is, I can't find the program anywhere. I can't download it from the page drivers and it is not on my CD drivers and tools. It is not publicly traded utility unter... I want to use this feature - but where is this program? Where can I get it?

    Hello snipe

Maybe I'm wrong, but as far as I know a lot of other features are part of the program of Toshiba Easyguard. I found the Toshiba Easyguard page and it has listed all the units and the futures market, they should have.

If you have the time check HERE.

I guess that there is false information on the Toshiba Germany page. Perhaps is what someone did error between the Satellite U200 and Satellite Pro U200. :(

I have a laptop running XP that connects to the same wireless router and has none of these problems.

    Help!
    Stu

Seems that there is nothing wrong with your all wireless lan device. I think that there are some Vista settings, preventing certain pages internet working, perhaps built in the anti-virus program or firewall. Internet Explorer 7 has built in functions of security as well, so you can take a look at this.

Perhaps the first thing you could try is to use another browser, like firefox and check the settings of the firewall.

  • [Wireless-Vista] Disable the automatic access point.

Right then, I had this problem when you play any kind of online game, what microsoft calls a 'feature', when I play a game online, I get a 5seconds or until disconnecting lag spikes every 1-5 minutes, making it impossible to play counter-strike, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield 2 and all these sorts of FPS games. I read on this vista of "paintings" Wi - Fi point automatic scan has, so I tried with impatience to deactivate, without success, I even once turned off automatic TCP/IP that crashed my computer, so now I'm wondering, how in the world am I supposed to play a game with spikes of major shift due to a malfunction of the so-called?
If there is a way to turn it off, remove, or simply work around, tell me. I don't care if it is not allowed, because I got it with feautures of microsoft...

    sckizman,
Have you ever been able to play games online with this computer?
What version of Vista and what service pack you have?
You are able to surf on the net normally or you we lag with almost anything on the internet?
If you have not yet done so, perform a clean boot , and then test your access.  Also make sure that your system BIOS and chipset drivers are up to date.

Here are instructions on disabling automatic switching between wireless access points:

  • Problem with wireless - Vista Network and Sharing Center does not recognize my connection!

I use the Home Visa software and my network and sharing Center does not recognize my connection but I can access the internet without any problem. Previously, I was using a wireless router Linksys with an old box of AT & T internet with no problems. The problems started after I updated my AT & T internet box that made obsolete the linksys router and now the network share does not connect. I just have the problem of getting the network and sharing device recognizing that I am actually connected to a wireless network. I can't use my printer or share files with other people. I can't get my wireless printer to work if I restart my computer and I have the documents I want printed already sent to the printer. My network and sharing Center also works very well for a few seconds when I start my computer then it turns off again.

  • Wireless Vista SP2 issues

First, I installed SP2 for Vista x 64 may 27 by a wired LAN connection. This night there I couldn't connect wirelessly to the internet at the hotel. Checked for problems with the ISP and none have been detected. The next day I uninstalled SP2 and the problem disappeared. Today, I went through the same process at home. Same result. After installation of SP2, my wireless modem will allow me to connect, but after I relock my system I lose my connection. I even spoke of "technical support" in India today and got no help at all. EVERYONE > THE WORLD?

    Hi Coul45,

Are you able to connect to Internet after installing Vista SP2 but the wireless connection is lost after the computer is locked, you can follow the steps below and check if that helps.

1 > try to perform a process of clean boot on the computer and check if it helps. Here is the link to perform the clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/929135

2 > try to update the wireless adapter driver.

3 > check the power management Options in the properties of the wireless network adapter driver.

4 > try to check with a new user account as well.

Please let me know if this helps you.

  • Installed Adobe CC Suite can is more updated with the Application Manager with VISTA 64?

My system to my Win 7 Pro Office, but my home system is Vista 64 bit. After several weeks of work in the office and finally one day open my home office, I find that subsequently installed Adobe CC is no longer may be signed or updated with Application Manager. I can't open the application (Photoshop, Illust...) to allow the so I can put Win 7 on the system and reinstall without support me running on Ember and suck up all of my time to get the tools I pay to work.

Some update finally final straw and I can't you connect, open, allow or use my CC tools. Was it a "planned obsolescence", they did not announce this with any effort?  In fact, Manager application can not find even the internet to connect to the server, so you can connect! What?

Adobe has lost its way, or is now inhabited by demons? Now that the company has itself isolated from "responsible" buyers of their investment, we, public and customer contact and so they pull the plug on operating systems inherited without sufficient warning. This saves millions of programmers coding timing going all in mainly supporting latest versions of OS. What happens then?

I was an early user of Photoshop in the beginning of the 1990s, and before that in 1984 Lumina 16 and 32, so I saw it happen. I was a beta for Illustrator rises too much.

Really bummed to de-soulling of a machine tool company.

Any application that is creative cloud should not be disabled as CS6. It is best that you can, but it is not necessary. When you install these applications on another computer, you will get a warning saying that you have exceeded your NSO sign, then invites you to sign other computers. It's so MUCH EASIER to have to disable the old program. I would turn off CS6 and all other CC pre apps. CS6 really is not supposed to work even on Vista, it kind of works on XP, but not well.
