  I bought gtx 1060 to my hp pavilion elite hpe 500cs pc, but I can't front the start screen (cannot even get into the bios settings). I inherited bios with the latest version 7.15 which is avalible for my motherboard. The card worked on power and different Mr. b. is sufficient. I also have 1 beep, that the long break and followed 3 short and fast beeps long beep.

  Your comparison of different systems and not being is not specific about the other tested machine.  It is like comparing a Citroën with a Renault. (Could not stop myself, realizing your in CS).  The HPE 500cs, as you say, is Legacy BIOS.  The new GTX 1060 is UEFI and would not work in the HPE without a hybrid BIOS from the manufacturer of the card.

  I have a hp elite, with a mixer, alesis io26, reason and cubase, that everything worked perfectly. the only problem was Windows media player work so I had so I had ay cds in cubase, could not play movies or burn CD/DVDs. one thing I have confused for me are within reason and you configure your audio preferences of cubase, but, in windows media player it seems to have no way to configure my blender. so, recently, I've updated my computer that I have never done, and messed with the settings sound a little trying to get media to work, which has been unsuccessful player. now I open reason as often it appears a bit slow. then I try to load the song and it freezes and says its engine didn't check sound card or installation (cubase does the same thing). I reinstalled the reason did not. I checked the sound card in the program and it has a green check mark next to it, theres a red x if it does not work. I then reinstalled reason on my old COMP to make sure that the disc has not been damaged, and it worked. Then, I saved all my songs on an external hard drive and plugged into the COMP. old and it all works. I looked for a solution for hours with no progress. any help would be greatly appreciated.   the problem is resolved. I just needed to uninstall and reinstall the driver for the alesis io26. only problem that remains is the media player window does not work always and never. I don't know what the problem is. I thought I was because I am using recording studio speakers wired through the instead of computer speakers alesis io26. and there is no way to configure routing audio windows media. I would be grateful for any thank you more suggestions

• I've updated my mouse driver, but now whenever I start my computer action guests come in saying I need to run .exe files. I unlocked the updated drivers, but they keep get recalculated when I click Manager tasks.

  It is an Alps Touchpad on a laptop Acer 5520.  Drivers that are displayed at the command prompt are Apoint.exe, ApntEx.exe and ApMsgFwd.ede.  I have unblocked them several times, unlocked the program under Program Files, but it still appears saying the signature is not verified or there just need to be clicked on run.

  Uninstall your current drivers, or use the options to 'Roll back' through the back to previous drivers Device Manager.  If you opt for a second attempt to install drivers later, see if there is no option to right-click on any setup.exe where you can select the "Run as Administrator" option.  Temporarily disable all security installation software could also help.

  My pc does not now start upward. It worked fine until the other day when I got a blue screen STOP error. Before that I could write the code that the computer tried to restart. It won't have the option to go in safe mode now, the hard drive light flashes on the front just once when you turn then just sits there, white light, solid screen. I am running Vista.

  Any help would be awsome as I am Flexi-rent this pc and do not want to pay for a computer I can't use even turned off!

  You install Windows XP on an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) PC?  If so, you might be able to request recovery disks from the manufacturer (which can be Windows ME) to install, and then use the XP upgrade later.

  Instead of plugging on the long black slot which is a video card plug into one of the slots black short. You have Windows 7 I think which means that you will need a driver, but that should come on a CD with the card. Will need you a power connector (molex) on the map, too.
