  The model number that you read in the bottom is a chassis number. Yes it says model number on this sticker, but there should also be another white below label that starts with VPC-EB2xx or something like that

  PCG - 71314L is the model number of chassis for the VPC - EB2 series portable computers, that's why you wer unable to find.

• End of 2011 Macbook with Windows 10 - adjustable brightness with the video card main?

  I have recently installed Windows 10 on my MBP late 2011 (officially unsupported, I know). For the most part, everything works, but the screen brightness adjustment doesn't seem to work with the driver from main video card (ATI 6600 M) - change the cursor on the user interface or by button have an effect, it is always 100%.

  If I change the Microsoft Basic display card driver in the menu devices (as suggested here in the forums), the cursor works, but the max brightness is about 50%, and I suspect the slow onboard gpu is active.

  Under the windows keys F feature is controlled by special tool designed by Toshiba Toshiba utility feature key.
  As far as I know Toshiba does not support Linux so these tools does not exist for Linux operating systems.

  I m not Linux user, but I guess that there must be another (Linux option) option for the brightness adjustment.
