Hello

Your Recovery Partition D: was photographed on your hard drive during the production of your computer by the manufacturer for all of these reasons.

You will need to ask your manufacturer for proper sequence.

2. to make the recovery disks on if your drive hard breaks down, so that you can then reinstall the operating system on a new hard drive.

Also ask them how to make records.

Your D: Recovery Drive is should not be used for backups, defragmented, etc..

    VIsta - Local access only

    HI -.
I recently moved.   I use the same router from my old apartment and I had no problem connection in the past.   Since I moved I have a new Time Warner modem (Cisco) and the modem works fine.

The router also works very well I'm able to connect with my iPhone and IPad without any problem.

But when I try to connect with my wireless laptop, it will only connect to Local access.    If I connect the laptop to the router with the ethernet cable, it works very well.

    It's a Dell Studio 15 with Vista.

The computer is able to connect to wifi to other places without any problem, but for some reason that I can't connect home.   I tried to reset the modem and the router several times, but that did not help.   I tried the option repair & diagnose several times but it doesn't work.

I tried to look for other solutions online and tried to disable IPv6, and while it helped some and I was able to connect wireless, the computer ran so slowly that it didn't seem like a good solution.

This has been very frustrating.   Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion.

  • Can't install or uninstall anything that requires administrator-level access in Windows 7

I searched for hours here looking for information on how to correct this problem and have not found a description of the problem that matches mine.  If the answer is already here, please forgive my lack of the needle in a haystack and point me in the right direction.  The operating system in question is Windows 7 Home Premium x 64.

First of all, the troubled computer is not mine.  It belongs to a friend.  (Norton) antivirus protection has expired some time ago and they now no protection.  I would like to uninstall this program and install a new program of antivirus protection for them.  When I Spear 'uninstall' it in program folder tells me that I have Admin Access.  The account I use is the only account never implemented and the admin account.  There is no password admin, and there is no password for the account.  I know... There are SEVERAL rules of common sense here that were broken, and I'm trying to fix all the.
I have tried to create a new administrator account using the User Manager and have the same problem.  I saw a suggestion about the click with the right button on the choice of the menu and choosing "run as Administrator".  I have not tried yet since I'm not near the computer at this time.  I'll try to make it tonight.  Even if it works... I am always faced with the same problem of having to reactivate somehow the rights of Directors in general.
I saw elsewhere deliver once before and ended up reloading the system.  It was riddled with viruses.  I hope that I am not against this situation.
Thanks to the community in advance for your efforts to help me solve this puzzle and research!

This is the only account that has ever existed and the User Manager identifies it as an administrator account.  I suspect that this account has lost its privileges admin somehow, be it corruption of any nature or virus.

You run a show at high risk, while having one single administrator account. It's like having a key for your car. A glitch is all that it takes to create a big problem, but it is so easy to create a second admin account.

Find it me difficult to reconcile some of the apparently contradictory statements in your report. If it was my machine, then I would do this:

    1 disable UAC
    2. restart the computer when you are prompted.
    3. click on start.
    4. type the three letters cmd in the search box and press enter
    5. type the following commands and press ENTER after each:
NET user 'Jack' xxyyzz / add
(to create a new account named Jack with a password of xxyyzz)
    net localgroup administrators/add ' Jack'
(to promote the account of Jack at the Admin level)
    net users
(to see a list of all existing accounts)
    6. turn on UAC.
7 restart and log in as Jack.
    8. check if you still have problems.
    9. If they, restart in Mode safe and check things once more.

  • How can I me gives authorization registry administrator to access/open HKEYs needed for installation of Adobe products?

Don't know if this is the right place or not, but here goes nothing.

I tried and tried to install Adobe Reader 9 or 9.3 and Flash Player 10.0.2.45 on my desktop PC Windows Vista Home Premium (HP Pavilion on 64 bit OS) without success. At half way through I get a dialog box popping up telling me Error 1402. I don't have permission to open the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE32/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run/OptionalComponents/IMAIL or MSFS. When I try and access this mess of roof of mix I get a reading of message ' no such entry found. Try different spellings etc."which I did and got nothing. Then I went to regedit.exe and could find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE but not such a file root with a '32' after the MACHINE nor I could find any subs under Run or components optional or MSFS IMAIL either. I already reset the registry to its default security settings, but it was not good at all. I tried, but although I can easily create restore system restore points resolutely refuses to restore anything! I went to the section default slot Windows find permissions and gave administrator privileges to each user name there. It's a desktop home PC and I am the owner and the main user. My mom and my brother use it about once every two months or so so, indeed I am the primary user. Can you please help me with this problem? The earlier the better as it is tax time and I need the PDF to DL capability and print tax forms. I can't do without Reader and Flash Player installed, nor can I access videos, audio or pix graphic either. Thanks a lot for your kindness and Kami bless you. Sayonara for now and see ya soon I hope - K & K in Brookhaven PA - USA

    Hey K & K,.

    Thanks for the reply.

You have to click on start-> Run-> type regedit and enter.

In the registry, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE32/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run/OptionalComponents/IMAIL or MSFS

Then follow the steps above to give permission to IMAIL or MSFS.

    ·         You are logged as administrator?

  • the original administrator user access

    Hi guys
I had a problem in the administrators, the only user account on my com I couldn't remember the password. When I go home so I created a new account with a different name, but with full administrator rights and a password as I remembered.
    Rolls and then stop.
Now every time I log in I can only see the new user and not the old account administrator. I need a cus old my office had all my docs on this subject and I do not see the on the new user. When I try to add a new user with the username administrator login it says there is already one.
How can HELP I reactivate the old admin account
    Thank you

Looks like you have Windows XP Pro or Media Center and use the administrator for your daily work. Then, you have created a second administrative account and the top that administrator has disappeared from the Welcome screen. This is normal because you really don't want one account administrative user on the system. If I guessed your situation correctly, you can put the built-in Administrator (the one that you use regularly) back on the Welcome screen. Keep the other administrative account as an extra in an emergency (such as when you cannot access your account daily user or forgot the password once again).

  • Can't log in as administrator! Impossible to change anything!

Okey, so I changed my standard account... it had been initially on administrator. I did this because whenever I did something he asked permission first... very annoying. But now, because my other user is admin, I can't do anything! My other user is asp.net of the computer account. I tried the obvious, going in managing accounts and change the type of account that I have, but all what I change while I'm logged into my now standard account does not work! I never signed up for the asp.net account and really don't know how... it does give me not an option. I would really like to help, I'm organizing the files on my external hard drive and it won't let me, it is not even ask for a password for the asp.net account.

    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.

    5. click on OK.

    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.

    7. after starting the computer, reinstall and run the program and see if the problem is resolved.

  • Windows 7 Pro seddenly denies access to the local settings folder

I log on my Win7 PC as an administrator and sometimes see the subfolders and files in my Local Settings folder. There has never been a problem for several years. But a few days ago I tried to navigate to the outlook.pst file is stored, but clicking on the local settings folder generated the message "local settings is not accessible. Access denied. "

I haven't changed my user profile since I implemented this PC in 2011 and have not changed the password in quite some time. My only recent system change came after I received a warning from Windows Tuesday that trash has been altered. To resolve this problem, I followed the steps in a thread of Microsoft Answers by activating the display of hidden system folders and files, and then deleting the file $recycle.bin. Windows regenerated the trash and I disabled the display of hidden system files. The next day, I discovered my access problem.

What should I do to fix my access?

Thanks for letting us share this resolution.
