Administrator in msconfig XP error

I'm working on my sisters pc, its sloooow, I tried changing the programs in msconfig and it gives me an error need to be the administrator but she is the only one and she is the administrator, I tried to delete the programs one at a time and I get the same error, I started in safe mode and get the same. the pc takes forever to start and looks like she didn't any what ram but I have used the PC with less ram who worked a lot faster, something does not work correctly, it doesn't have a lexmark printer and it had maccave loaded in a first time on it, but was never activated, anyone has a solution for this? I don't want to pay for something that looks like an easy solution or a problem to microsoft by the post, I saw. Thank you

What is the brand and model of the PC? How much RAM does? What is the hard drive and the amount of free space is left on it?

You don't necessarily need to worry about this error. As station covered José, it is probably the result of the presence of the PML from HP driver. The good news is that even if you see the error message, your changes of msconfig again will take effect. So, it's just a nuisance. Of course, if it bothers you as long as you can certainly make changes to your registry. But it is not absolutely necessary to do so. So, your call.

Here are the usual causes of slow:

1. malware (malware). You need to rule out first! This page has excellent information:

http://Web.archive.org/Web/20080610163247/http :// www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

2. some programs aimed at combating malware (for example, Norton and McAfee). Ironically, they can slow things down because they use simply much too many resources. Sometimes they cause conflicts with other programs. And their default mode is to scan your entire hard drive whenever you start. Fortunately, there are other programs of anti-malware software available that use much less resources (p. ex., NOD32, Avast and Avira).

3. too much of certain types of programs still running in background - with or without your consent. (Then again, a lot of programs running in the background of the consequences trivial.)

To determine each program and process, you are running, use the task (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) Manager and click the processes tab. You should be able to sort by CPU usage or memory usage for a good ideas that are resource/memory hogs. You must write the names of all the processes for future detective work (or take a snapshot and print it).

Use these sites to determine what these programs are, and learn how configure them to not always run when starting:

http://www.PACS-portal.co.UK/startup_content.php#THE_PROGRAMS
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/
http://www.AnswersThatWork.com/Tasklist_pages/Tasklist.htm

Sometimes, it is recommended to use msconfig to configure programs to run at startup. A better, more thorough program is Autoruns:

http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

But before that, you must use the settings preference of the program in question. Otherwise, for some programs, they will return to the list of startup anyway!

If you do not want to use msconfig, it can be accessed in this way:

Start | Run | Type "msconfig" (without the quotes). Enter (or OK)

4. not enough RAM, causing the PC too rely on the pagefile. A quick way to determine if what is happening is to open (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) Task Manager, and then click the performance tab. Then the three values under Commit Charge (k) Note: in the lower left corner: Total, limit and peak.

The Total number represents the amount of memory you are using right now. The vertex figure represents the maximum amount of memory you made since the last boot. If these figures are lower than the value of the amount of physical memory (K), then you probably have lots of RAM. In case you want to study it more, you can run the Page queue Monitor for Windows XP:

http://www.dougknox.com/XP/utils/xp_pagefilemon.htm

5. you can also verify that the access mode of your hard drive has not changed from DMA to PIO:

This particular configuration is with Coldfusion 11. There is no errors in newspapers and the w3 service still works as are application pools. All websites and app pools run with transmission of authentication request.

ColdFusion does not work with windows authentication and may be enforced as if reconfigured integrated instance to do this, if this isn't a matter of colfusion.

    Here is what I tried:

1 I created a new user account with admin rights and disconnected and logged in as them and then make changes to the password on the server, and that didn't make a difference.
    2. I checked that all Web sites using the request pass through authentication.
    3. I checked that the application pool is also using the application-pass-through authentication.
    4. I looked to find errors in which case newspapers but don't see anything there either
    5. I also searched a failure in coldfusion logs and saw no more relevant here either, but I got colfusion running without IIS in any case.

  • Administrator ColdFusion 10 Javascript errors

I just installed the 64-bit version of 10 ColdFusion on Windows Server 2008R2 (using IIS 7.5).  I tried to install as close to the Guide of Lockdown CF9 Server as possible, given that CF9 and CF10 have different underlying drivers (CF9 is JRun and CF10 is Tomcat, in the CF9 Admin used for file browsing Java applets and CF10 uses jQuery and JavaScript UI components).

Anyway, things seem to work for most, except that some of the ColdFusion Administrator functionality is broken for me well.  Any place that requires the use of the new jQuery File Explorer get script errors.  For example, when you try to specify another JVM path, by clicking on 'Browse Server' results in the error "jQuery is not defined" (see http://screencast.com/t/GQMZ1cdLJy ).  Of course, jQuery.js is in the same folder as the offending script (jqueryeasing.js), so it makes no sense.

    Anyone encountered before?

    -Carl

PS: I also posted on the CF-Talk on HouseOfFusion.com mailing list.

For those playing along at home, I thought of her.  I needed to remove the query filter URL deny on the/CFIDE/scripts folder.  Everything seems to work now.

    Thank you

  • Unable to get the administrator account, receive the error such as the user profile service failed logon. User profile could not be loaded. "

Original title: "the user profile service has no logon. User profile could not be loaded"and admin password will not work

I had this problem came several times before but it always correct itself without any intervention from myself. Now, even after restarting the computer several times I can not directly connect to my main Administrator profile. I have another profile without administrative privileges already done so I could at least use my computer, but only with limited permissions. When I try to do something to solve the problem, as the registry change, I'm prompted to enter the administrator password. I enter the password and the alert box goes, and nothing happens. Enter the password seems doing nothing, except the aknowledge the password is correct (it warns me when I entered a wrong password so I know it's no doubt receiving data). DOoes anyone know how to fix this? The computer works relatively well recently and have no idea of what decoration could have happened to cause such a mistake that bothers.

    Hello

This worked for me, try allowing the default Administrator account, the steps are in the following link
    I hope this will help!

Visit the Zoo Tycoon 2 for a patch will fix the problem.  I know that if you play expansion Extinct Animals, it corrects the problems for the people in 64-bit.  They have a spot on their Web site that corrects this problem as well.  You can find the patch here.

  • Satellite A200-TR6 - WinPhlash error 1072 while trying to update BIOS

I recently bought a 4 GB RAM in this machine. Even though I know that Windows will recognize about 3 GB of it, it seems odd that when I'm in my BIOS, it also sees only 3 GB (at this level he should see all 4 GB, no?).

I thought I should update my BIOS, maybe that would help. I went and downloaded a update of the BIOS of Toshiba, but when I extract it and run WinPhlash, I get "unable to load driver PhlasNT.sys" and error 1072 - despite being connected both code administrator (see screenshot of error message [here | http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/3213/winphlash.jpg]).

    Any ideas?

    Hello

Have you tried to download the BIOS update again? Maybe it s only a file corrupted
And for the update, you need to extract all files from zip archive before you start the update and must be logged in as an administrator.

Normally you should see the 4 GB of RAM in BIOS, but as you know you can t use the entire 4 GB of RAM on Windows. This is possible on a 64 bit OS.

  • TestStand 2014 Version selector "Program Error"

I upgraded to TestStand 2014 from 2013. I suspect that I deleted TestStand 2013 by using the uninstall program NOR but had not chosen 2014 TestStand using the version selector.

When I try and run the selector version as an administrator, I get an error "unable to determine the current Version of TestStand. The Version selector then begins with the "Version Active current = n/a" and launch sequence buttons are grayed out.

The select Version section all seem OK with 32 and 64 bit paths showing correctly and the projection of "2014 (14.0)" in the Teststand installed drop-down. When I click on 'Get active', I get a dialog box error which is entitled 'Attention' and says "program error".

Is there a way to fix this? I installed 2014-64 bit and then reinstalled the 2014-32 bit version but still the same.

I am on Win 8.0 and Avast antivirus and firewall (which I checked and logs do not show that it is not blocking anything related to this).

I could just try and install the 2013-32 bit version and see if I can make some versions then and uninstall 2013 thereafter. This sounds like a good idea?

    Thank you very much: David

I did a deactivation of 1 hour of Avast and used the repair option. This made me the Teststand service installed and everything is working again now.

    Thanks much for the tips

  • Microsoft error reporting occurs again with several service packs that need to be sent in an error report. This happens on some machines and not others on a school campus.

I noticed this error that occur more frequently on multiple machines only when connected to an administrator account. The error on some machines, but not the others if they were all created from the same image of a HD master.

I haven't noticed any malfunction of applications, but this error occurs, breed a little bit is set.

    ddefreit,
Because it is related to a deployment scenario and is involving multiple machines, you will need to check with the TechNet site for the appropriate support.

  • Error 80070005 on update driver

I recently updated my driver for 6150 is nForce 430; There is an optional update that I tried to install it but I get the error code 80070005 (there is no additional number is this error code)

I must say that I have Winndows Vista Home premium 64-bit with IE 9.  I had problems with the latest version of Adobe Flash Player 11.6.168. I followed all the instructions I found from Adobe; but the last was to update my driver I did it; but the videos freeze again.  I thought that this option Update might help with the driver update.

    I also use Firefox

I get an error message when I try to run Fixit.  I signed up as an administrator.

The error code I have gt is 80070005 not Ox8007005; are they the same?

To install the updates, you should have administrator privileges.
The error can also be caused by third-party security programs such as firewalls and antivirus software.
Try disabling your antivirus or firewall during installation of the update.
