Adobe Download Manager cannot happen on the Adobe servers

I'm getting the "unable to join the Adobe servers" error all the time.

I tried

  1. deleting the file opm.db;
  2. deleting the log file PDApp; and
  3. enter my information to connect to adobe.
  4. disable my avast Firewall (there is no on my modem)

But the error does not disappear and I can't upgrade to 5 LR, etc..

If someone managed to fix this error?

PS:

(a) I'm not happy I have to use the forums to get help on a product I am payingf for.

(b) why Adobe does not offer 24/7 support? I am in Australia and is not appropriate to expect the opening hours.

(c) I wonder that if Adobe will refund the days that they are unable to supply the product, to which I subscribe.

Yes Jihoon1109 of the managed network is probably causing your network difficulties.  This is especially true when the steps listed in http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html have been completed.

I recommend you contact your it Department and have them examine the Adobe Creative Cloud Service Documentation of access to technology section of http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/enterprisedeployment.html.

  • Try to download Idcc, get message "cannot happen on the Adobe servers...". "with tips to check my firewall settings (my firewall is disabled).  Now, I see that the Id is the download, but I have no sign of her on my desk.

    Method 1: Make sure that the Date and the time is accurate

    Open quick run (Windows key + R)
    Type timedate.cpl , and then click OK
    Click the Internet time tab

    Click change settings

    Click update now , and then click OK once the time is Sync

    Method 2: The problem may be caused by the Proxy settings

    If you use a Proxy

    Press the Windows key + X to open the Menu power user
    Click prompt (admin)
    Of that type the below command and press enter

    Click sign out and finishing
    Log on to the user account

    To switch to the Microsoft account

    Press the Windows key + C to open the bar of charms

    Click to connect to a Microsoft account

    I'm testing the new WebLogic Server version as well as of new forms and reports. I don't have much experience with WebLogic (using the Internet Oracle 10g Application) bare with me for a moment.

    I'm using Node Manager to start admin server and all the other managed servers. I also installed nodes as a Windows service manager and configured the boot parameters to include Xrs-/-Xnohup, as stated in the documentation and everything seems to work fine until I restart the server. Node Manager service starts and according to his diary, he plays startup.properties of each server, but it does not start them. Am I missing something here? I found myself in an impression that Node Manager must restart the server in case of reboot system, if the server was running when the computer has been restarted.
    Even though I don't have much experience with WebLogic, I'm not a beginner. I managed to migrate (for testing only) all the business application (more than 1000 forms and reports) of iAS 10g to the new version in two days. Application works very well and I only have problems with servers to start when the computer starts using Node Manager.

    Test environment:
    Windows 2008 Standard 32-bit
    RAM: 2 GB
    HARD DRIVE: THE 140 GB
    CPU: 2xXeon

    The new version is fine, but I don't know why you would do this change. This is no logic coming from Firefox because I think it's you guys who presents the Download Manager window. Anyone who uses Firefox knows that when you close the window, the downloads remain... at least until now. Maybe an option during installation?

    I, as well as others I know not switched back to Firefox from Chrome due to latency issues, but I'm sure that many of your users is returned to Chrome or IE misfortune because of this problem.

    You can set the pref browser.download.manager.quitBehavior to 2 on the topic: config page.

    That will make Firefox asks for confirmation if you want to cancel the download when you close Firefox.

    As of today, I bought a prepaid card for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 (Mac; (German).

    (1) I connect with my Adobe ID and enter the code displayed on the prepaid card.

    (2) adobe Web site tells me that

    - I have no need for a serial number

    -Can I download my product

    (3) the browser downloads a file Setup. The software seems to be a download manager.

    (4) the Download Manager does not have the product I bought. It offers only Lightroom CC and starts to download, which I canceled.

    (5) I tried to found and direct download links.

    It is: for the software downloaded via links direct you need a serial number, but I don't have it (see step 2).

    Also my account doesn't show any serial number for the purchased products.

    (6) I have not found any page on the Adobe website that would explain how can I download exactly the product I bought.

    If this is your 2nd time to install, did you uninstall the original SQL version until you tried to reinstall?

    You can temporarily disable the download manager in Internet Explorer and then activate once you have installed the download you want. This will help to highlight if Download Manager is the problem.
    Log on with an account that has privileges Administrativer.
    Open Internet Explorer.

    Click on 'Tools' on 'Internet Options'.
    Go to the Security tab.
    Go to custom level.
    Go to the downloads Section.
    Find the file downloads tab and disable the option button.
    Click OK.

    Restart to save the changes.
