Adobe Photoshop - "cannot record"filename.psd"because write access has not been granted."
Good afternoon
We worked through this issue since a year pretty much and during this period, we have migrated to a new Mac OS X Server 10.9.5 and until CC14 and we still have this error randomly with our Photoshop users. We have users who use Dreamweaver quite heavily on the same server and have never seen this problem, for this purpose we are quite certain he is isolated in Photoshop. We also could test the CS6 also having this problem.
Here is a screenshot of the error, users will receive after opening the file on the server (not matter if its AFP or SMB) and trying to save all the changes they made:
We thought at first it was a problem on one of our older Windows servers using ExtremeZIP, but since we moved completed during a Mac server, we were able to exclude. We also opened a case with Apple engineers were able to show that all of our permissions are set correctly and that it does not appear as a matter of Apple.
When our users get the above error they will basically have to save the file as a new version and then go back and TRY to remove the old version, because they usually get the following error:
It's a question long underway and our users are getting really tired that it causes a lot of setbacks and reduction to be able to make full use of their time. We have been able to reproduce this problem on all operating systems we have on campus, including Mac OS X 10.8.5, 10.9.5 and 10.10.2.
If an email is provided I can send a file sysdiagnose and ls-lae0 out of the server if necessary.
Thank you

Items 11 "cannot be saved because write access has not been granted."
I have already organized and a lot of raw photos with viewNX on my PC the tag. The PC crashed and I'm now trying to edit this same batch of photos with 11 items on my iMac. I am able to access photos, but when I try to save my changes I get the message "Unable to save because write access has not been granted." I'm not on a network computer, no one else has access to pictures and photos are not open in any other program. Forgive the ingorance, but the iMac and 11 elements are new for me. can someone help me solve problems?

I can't save an image... I have a new mac with El Capitan BONE 10.11
Hi yarar,
It seems that the location where you want to save this image does not have full write access.
Make sure the save location has full read and write access or try to save it somewhere else.

Cannot import the Clipboard because the file is not a TIFF file.
I'm not a frequent user of Photoshop, but for some time I still get the error message "Cannot import the Clipboard because the file is not a TIFF file."
Extremely annoying actually. Is there something that can be done?
Another application place a TIFF file in the Clipboard, or at least advanced he was TIFF.
When Photoshop or the desired BONE scan TIFF, there (because it cannot really be given TIFF).
You need to understand what other application puts bad data on the system Clipboard.

missing volume control
volume control was gone. I tried to go into my control panel to use it, but I get an error that says:
"Windows cannot display the control volume on the taskbar because the Volume control program has not been installed. To install it use Add/Remove programs in Control Panel. »
I have lost my Windows XP disc in a move and can't reinstall the file to a disk, how to fix this?
When you use certain features sounds and Audio devices, you see a message like this:
Windows cannot display the control of volume on the taskbar because the Volume control program has not been installed. To install it use Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.
It seems that the c:\windows\system32\sndvol32.exe file is missing.
This may occur if your antivirus/antimalware application thinks the file is suspicious and quarantines (effectively delete) the file. You can replace the missing file with a backup copy of the file that is in another folder on your system.
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..
Assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive...
We know that XP keeps copies of critical system files in the following folder:
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
Using the Explorer, search for or navigate to the following folder:
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
Locate the sndvol32.exe file, right-click, choose copy (it copies the file to the Windows Clipboard).
If your Solution Explorer settings are not set to display file extensions, you will see only a file called 'sndvol32' which has an icon that looks like to the volume control slider (this is the file you need).
If the file is missing in the dllcache folder, look for a copy of the file in this folder:
c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386
Browsing from a level in the following folder:
c:\Windows\System32
Right-click on an empty area in the window of c:\windows\system32 and choose Paste to paste in the missing file where it belongs.
Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace the existing file.
Now try your features sounds and Audio devices.
Note that run sfc/scannow will not replace the missing file because it is not this that sfc/scannow does.

Original title: Windows Update problem, help please
Whenever I go to windows update, it says "Windows update cannot currently check updates, because the service is not running. You may have to restart your computer"I restarted my computer, but the same message back steadily for several weeks. How can I fix?
Thank you
Hi Lydia,.
There are three services that are important to check, download and install the updates. These services are Background Intelligent of cryptographic services service and the Windows update Service. These should be in the started state and currently running on the computer so that the computer connects to Windows Update Server, check the update that corresponds to the computer, and then download them accordingly.
Follow the steps in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2730071 and make sure that these services are started on the computer. If they are, then if he please stop and then restart the services. Restart the computer once that change in services.
It will be useful.

Error "Windows cannot check for updates because the service is not running.
I am using windows vista 64-bit ServicePack two on my laptop. I recently had to install new hard disks. Since then, Windows update does not work. When I check the updates dialog box appears indicating that Windows cannot check the updates because the service is not running. I used the Microsoft fix - it tool, and it recognizes that there is a problem, but cannot fix. History of the update is completely empty. I would appreciate any ideas on how to solve this problem.
Please read this article:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2730071/en-us
Another suggestion is maybe disable the updates of Windows
Reset.
Activate the Windows updates.
Try again. (Worked for some)

Only the news I get is an information box stating:
"Windows Update cannot currently check updates, because the service is not running." You may have to restart your computer. »
I checked that the service is running, and a process is running in the Task Manager.
I have downloaded and run Microsoft Fix, it is said that it fixed the problem, but didn't.
I cloned my old drive and installed my new drive in my laptop. It seems that there is no update history transferred when cloning, there is no history of updates now.
Separated from the:
Applications, (Norton and McAfee) are notorious for not not upgrade (or uninstalling) itself. The 'leftovers' Norton may be causing the problem. Roll up your sleeves & cross your fingers...
