  My Adobe Premiere Pro 2014 CC maintains late and crashing to a point where I can't do my job. When I open my first file, I can work on my calendar for maybe two or three minutes before it lags, freezes and then eventually crashes. I am at a loss of what is exactly causing my problem because I edit mostly the H.264 files and my sequences are not complex in every sense of the term.   Go to file > project settings > General and change the rendering engine video software of Mercury playback engine only. Click OK, and then select "Remove the Previews".

  I just installed CC Adobe Premiere Pro and it crashes.  I tried to create a new project, open an existing project - nothing works.  I can start a new project and get as much as import clips in the project window, but at the time wherever I try to play a clip or create a sequence from it, it crashes.  I'm running off a new laptop (3rd generation Lenovo X 1 carbon) 8 GB of Ram, processor i5, best of everything I could get on this specific machine.  Any thoughts?

  The files that I open a new project are a gopro camera MP4 files.  The existing project was a CS5.5 file he tried to update to CC - in fact, he finds all the files fine and as soon as he arrives to the workspace with everything laid out, it crashes.  Let me know if I can provide more information.

  Apparently projects are set to use the Mercury playback engine by default if you need to disable this feature.

  Have HP 2015,2 ZBook core 17 with 16gig Ram version. Randomly, when I try to edit, insert or overwrite, Adobe crashes. Then I edited the same project on a different computer with Adobe 2014, and nothing crashed. I recreated a new project on the original computer edit, import video clips, and it crashed again.   Yes, there is a bug with dragging clips in the timeline that are longer than the duration set between the points on the 9.2 version and exit. This happens a little when you drag in files longer, as pieces of music. You can remove brands before you drag In/Out or update to the current version, when you have everything ready from new projects.

  I had weeks of bug before with my old HD 5850 and I thought it was because old graphics card. Now, I've updated the R9 380 and re - install Win7. But ALWAYS the same bug. Come on Adobe, say anything, give us a fix now!

  I read another Thread in this Forum about the same bug, but no Support from Adobe responded. Its ridiculous. I can't use my paid im software. And the worst. This update was one month away, still no correction.

  So I had [already] CS5 on my computer. I wanted to move to the new first Pro CC. So, until I did research on the passage, I just uninstall old Adobe all files my computer to ask a table open for my new download [first Pro CC].

  Seems that it crashes when GPU processing.

  Go to the file/project settings/general and change the rendering on "Mercury Playback Engine software only" engine.

  Press OK, you will get a dialog box in which select "remove previews."

  Try these steps and see if it works.
