Hi hafeezb16480172 tamarbartov ,.

Please try this:

Go to file > project settings > General and change the rendering engine video software of Mercury playback engine only. Click OK, and then select Remove previews.

If this does not help, please provide details on the configuration of your system, including details of the graphics card.

Thank you

    Sorry for my bad English.

I know this post is a little older, but maybe I can help someone else. Because I just had this problem! AND IT FIXED!

This problem occurs when a file in system32 is broken or something like that

After a lot of various other attempts, I replaced the file 'ntdll.dll' in 'C:\windows\system32 '.

You can find this here filen: ntdll.dll download - DLL - files.com

I wouldn't recommend to do in the first place. As a final option instead.

I realized that it is actually older than the version I had and an update will probably replace him once again, but for now it works.

And don't forget to make a backup of the old file, rename 'ntdll.dll - old' just

My Adobe Premiere Pro 2014 CC maintains late and crashing to a point where I can't do my job. When I open my first file, I can work on my calendar for maybe two or three minutes before it lags, freezes and then eventually crashes. I am at a loss of what is exactly causing my problem because I edit mostly the H.264 files and my sequences are not complex in every sense of the term. I've dealt with this days and I can't seem to find a solution. If anyone has any advice please let me know because I'm desperate. Thank you.

Can you go to the settings-general project file and change the video renderer only in software mode.

Check if it works or not.

You use any third party plug-in for Premiere Pro?

  • I just installed CC Adobe Premiere Pro and it crashes all the time!

I just installed CC Adobe Premiere Pro and it crashes.  I tried to create a new project, open an existing project - nothing works.  I can start a new project and get as much as import clips in the project window, but at the time wherever I try to play a clip or create a sequence from it, it crashes.  I'm running off a new laptop (3rd generation Lenovo X 1 carbon) 8 GB of Ram, processor i5, best of everything I could get on this specific machine.  Any thoughts?

The files that I open a new project are a gopro camera MP4 files.  The existing project was a CS5.5 file he tried to update to CC - in fact, he finds all the files fine and as soon as he arrives to the workspace with everything laid out, it crashes.  Let me know if I can provide more information.

I contacted Adobe support and they helped to solve the problem!

Apparently projects are set to use the Mercury playback engine by default if you need to disable this feature.

Go to file > project settings > General.

In the general tab change the video rendering and playback of 'accélération GPU (Open CL)' to ' Software Only '.

This fixed the problem for me, even if I don't have to review a project widely.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Brigitte,.

Go to the following location and rename the folder in the name of old_folder

User/user/library/Application Support and rename the Adobe folder

User/Library/Preferences and rename the Adobe folder

Then, go to the folder Documents and go to Adobe/Premiere pro/8.0 and rename the 8.0 folder

Make sure that you are in the library of the user if you are not sure to check out the link below.

Access the hidden user library files. Mac OS 10.7 and later versions

Need help, is there a better error log that would give you more information?

    Hi bncxlr,

Yes, there is a bug with dragging clips in the timeline that are longer than the duration set between the points on the 9.2 version and exit. This happens a little when you drag in files longer, as pieces of music. You can remove brands before you drag In/Out or update to the current version, when you have everything ready from new projects.

    Hope that helps,

I don't know if anyone cares, but on the off chance that someone finds it and find it useful here are how we solved the problem:

Open a file empty of Premiere Pro and go to file > Project Settings > general, in the dialog box next to the switch to Renderer of Mercury Playback Engine acceleration GPU (OpenCL) to Mercury Playback Engine Software only. I hope it works for you.
