• Beginner for masking question

  I'm new to sequels and created a small simple video that has only a laptop and a background. The laptop screen has fish swimming on the side right of the screen to the left and off the screen so it looks like they disappeared. I need to hide the screen of the laptop so I do not see the fish animations take off the left side of the screen. How the mask would create so it shows what is happening in the laptop screen? Thanks in advance

  Then you will need make the background to transparent fish... is it?

  If so, put the layer of fish between the layer of the computer with the hole for the screen and a layer of computer duplicated with the mask mode, subtract the value.

• Cannot advance beyond Question Quiz

  I have a situation where a user responds to a question of the quiz, moves to the next slide, and then goes back to the slide of questionnaire, but find the answer grayed out and none of the buttons (Clear, back, Submit) functional.  The user is blocked on this page.  In my preferences settings, backward movement is allowed and all quiz questions allow infinite attempts for a failing grade. Pass mark allows the action, "Go to the next slide." The 'Required' parameter is "Optional - the user can ignore this quiz."  See the progress and display the Score at the end are not active.  This only happens when you answer the question, go forward one slide, then back to the first slide.

  No idea why it would be gray outside and buttons become nonfunctional?

  If you checked the control panel/view Advanced Interaction (F9) and those who are indeed the only one scored the objects I want to offer another tip. In our LMS sometimes marked on the last slide objects do not appear, it is why I avoid to have something marked on the last slide. For the most part, I end up with a slide of thanks or something like that, afterwards and even a very short last slide, and then the problem is solved. It is a workaround, I know.

  Rather than add a new solid, add a second mask to your first solid.

  Your interpretation is correct.  The TCP (not PTC) options are used only if there is no value specified in the connection URL.

  Not that different carriers may have different requirements, for example, I understand Verizon don't require any setting at all for deviceside = true for work.

• Cannot save preferences and select mask question

  I'm unable to use the new 2015,5 Select cc and mask button, I get the error:

  Unable to apply Select the workspace and mask because the disk is not available.

  I've deleted and reinstalled Photoshop 2015.5, when I initially installed it I deleted all previous versions of CC (2014 / 2015), but this has not helped, now, when I'm out photoshop I get the following message is displayed:

  Could not save preferences because the file is locked, you don't have the necessary access permissions or another program is using the file. Use the "Get Info" command in the Finder to make sure that the file is unlocked and you are allowed to access the file. If the problem persists, save the document to another file or duplicate in the Finder.

  I can put in discs from scratch, but because of this error message that appears when closing photoshop and then when I restart all drives are disabled in preferences such as Scratch disks, and I have to choose my discs from scratch once again (which will be then "forgot" the next time I'm out CC because of this error message.

  I went to the FINDER > GO kept the alt/option key in, and then selected LIBRARY and chose LIBRAY > PREFERENCES > CC 2015.5 settings in Adobe Photoshop and then press Command/Apple and letter "I" and selected under sharing, everyone and set to READ & WRITE it was put to custom, and that fixed the two issues "

  I had this happen to me before, and I can not reproduce consistently. You should not directly choose the outermost clipping mask. Most of the time, by selecting the whole with the regular Selection tool and releasing the mask only releases the outermost, as it should.

  I use AE and first CC 2014. In the first edition, I use dynamic link to edit clips in After Effects.

  In After Effects, I want to key on my green screen. So far so good. But I also need to mask unwanted areas.

  I am masking the grounds and see in my preview of the mask around my pattern line. But for some reason, the outside of the mask don't disappear. In my preview or Adobe Premiere via DL, not even the videos has the invisible from the outside.

  I checked the settings for the mask, it is to be added. To switch to the other settings, I get any different results on my preview screen.

  What I am doing wrong? It comes to a few basics and leaves me frustrated if I come to 6 CS to get this working right...

  Many people, sorry I aft of the rudder. I just found out that the red giant Denoiser II degraded my mask. By disabling the Denoiser, everything works fine.

  My layer mask does not work, do not know what is happening. I use 4 CS. I want to use the blend effect so I put the photos on a white background. I click on the layer mask on each photo, select the tool brush on the picture but does not work, is either appear black or white when I use the brush paint on it. So not bad, the foreground color should be gray & white based on layer mask, but it appears black & white instead. Please see the screenshot below. Please help, thanks

  

  Hi, I'm going to try explain your problem.

  In your posted example we see that you have three layers in the layers panel.

  On each layer, we can see, on the left side, there is the thumbnail of the layer, it is a display of the actual image of your layer, then a thumbnail of the layer mask (the white rectangle on the right side).

  A layer mask works as follows: you tell Photoshop to show or hide the actual parts (pixels) of the layer with the grayscale values. Indicates a white pixel on the layer masks Photoshop to display the area of the image with a (non-transparent) full opacity, while tells a black pixel on the Photoshop layer mask to hide the layer completely (0% opacity.) Gray values will therefore partially show the image data.

  But you paint on the document, and you must specify Photoshop if you want to paint on the image (what you did in your example, and you don't want to) or if you want to paint on the layer mask (what you want to do). This indication is called targeting. It is simply done by clicking on the thumbnail of the layer or the layer of your layer mask thumbnail. (By clicking on different areas of a layer in the palette layers are different orders, you give to the program). For example, if you want to move the layer that you hide to another, in order to paint on his mask, sure to click on the layer of the other layer mask thumbnail in the layers panel.

  In Photoshop CS5.5 and earlier versions, you'll see that a layer or its mask is targeted because there will be three contours around her: a black, a white and a black once again, as the actual layer data in the highlight 0928 your image layer. • Very strange masking question...

  Well, here are links to two. Separate swf. One of them has a mask, there is no (as indicated by the name of the SWF in the URL)...
  
  The 'buttons' are all MCs where the bottom layer was a highlight in green and the upper layer has the text of the button (dynamically loaded from an XML file). No idea why add a mask would remove the text of the buttons (but still keeping the Green highlights)? :

  When the user clicks on the view cart"" button. Advanced DataGrid gets data from the database, and then display two columns (in Advanced DataGrid) as the product name and the quantity (TextInput). Now, the user can turn on the amount. And then click on the button update (at the bottom of the advanced data grid). Now in the service of update, how to loop through the quantity column? (and then update the database).
