  • Adobe Media Encoder CS6 - startup crash

I'm not able to start Adobe Media Encoder CS6 on Mac (Lion 10.7.3) - still, it attempts to load and gives me a "Adobe Media Encoder CS6 quit unexpectedly"

This happens with a freshly installed Web & Design Suite AND on both of my Macs.

I just reinstalled Flash CS6 to check - and no again, no chance to open it.

Super boring! What can I do?

    Thank you

    Steffen Funke

So, I was able to solve than this based on this (old) thread that deals with the same kind of problem under the CS5:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/3975390

In short: delete "Adobe Media Encoder" of your user preferences folder (/ Library/Preferences/Adobe Media Encoder).

It will be recreated the next time you start.

This was strange was, I need provide the admin password to delete the folder, even though i's in my user Prefs.

This should not be the case and I suspect that's the reason of the accident (record rights issue, preventing Adobe Media Encoder writing it's own preferences folder)

    Hope this helps someone else.

  • Adobe first/Media Encoder CC Crash when exporting video for ~ 25 min (Mac)

    Specifications of the laptop:

OS X Version of El Capitan 10.11.4

2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 processor

    16 GB memory

Iris Pro 1536 Intel graphics card

    Problem:

Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder CC constantly crash when I try to export the sequence of a project which is roughly ~ 25 minutes in length, H.264.

The effects are used throughout the project, but only the base dissolves and black-and-white/contrast effects. Images comes from several sources, but all of the same mp4 file and type frame rates. There are also several PNG files in the Assembly, including the one I used to "frame" the movie to make it look more like images from other sources. Yet once, nothing complicated, not even a long dissolve (dissolved all is literally 2/24 frames in length).

Split the video into sections and exporting separately are no problem, even when comparing a relatively short section of 4 minutes for a much bigger and more focused on the effects of section 11 minutes. Needless to say, I really, really, really prefer does not export this video into sections. The intended destination is youtube, and I just want everything in an own mp4, not two 12-minute videos.

After some digging, I found similar problems reported on these and others and was especially deplore the possibility that my power supply is not large enough to cope, but it's still very confused. My MacBook is not 'stop', and as far as I could see, the Iris Intel Pro should have been sufficient even without a graph 5100 graphics adapter Pro 5200 or; as in the past I've already exported MUCH larger files, ranging from 35 to 85 minutes.

solved by downloading latest driver for Nvidia CUDA for Mac - really just a problem with the Mercury playback engine. Guess OpenCL was not simply cut to get the type of work I was doing.

Here is a convenient link to the latest CUDA for Mac drivers for all who encounter similar problems with export in Adobe Premiere Pro Media Encoder CC or CC: drivers CUDA for MAC Archive | NVIDIA

  • Media Encoder CC2014.2 crash on windows when you try to export if quicktime is installed

    Hello

I am trying to export .mov files (created on random Mac computers in very high resolution) to reduce the size of the file and have the same output format. (possibly 1080 p H.264-> .mp4)

I installed Media Encoder cc2014.2 on my pc (win7 64 bit, french).

When I tested first of all, that the audio was exported. But I soon realized I did not have the right codec installed on my PC.

(I did not read the original video file, played the audio only).

Then, like a good boy, I have installed Quicktime from Apple (7.76.80.95)

With QuickTime Player on my PC, I could read the original video file. (with quicktime player)

So I opened Media Encoder again, and this time preview I can see the video with sound. But as soon as I start coding (the small green arrow) Adobe Media Encoder crash.

I tried several output format, it is still down right when I start the file export.

I uninstalled Quicktime and media encoder works again... but cannot export my original (.mov) with video files, only the sound.

I tried a third-party codec (K-Lite), I can see the video + sound on my pc, but Media Encoder is always blind, without video, only the sound.

Is there a way to add codec to Media encoder without installing Quicktime?

Or a way to make the Media Encoder to work on my PC when Quicktime is installed?

BTW, I'm sorry if my text is a little confusing, I'm french speaking

    Thank you in advance!

  • First / Media Encoder lack of effects Lumetri on export

Just had the biggest nightmare with CC2015. SG and PP dynamic link is so fragile that it crashes on me every 15 minutes. PP also seems to have become less stable, with a major fault 6 times in the last week.

In any case... The new number I have is that the PP now appears to be ignoring the adjustment layers and / or used in SG and my PP as Lumetri effects sequence. When I export a sequence ranks are missing. When I look in the project, they are in order. A change of setting where I tell PP to export all effects applied to a sequence?

For reference I exported 8 sequences offer DL, SG effects via media encode and not effects SG spat with exports. A single file managed to get all sorts of horrible artifacts in it.

Someone has a similar issues or know what I'm talking about?

This problem is fixed in update 2015 (9.0.1) Adobe Media Encoder CC:

    Hey guys,.

I have a problem with my installation of first Pro CC 2015. During start-up, just after the start window opens, I get a msg of error of windows that the application crashed and will be leaving now.

Of course, I used the search for similar problems, tried of their workaround, reinstalled the app once or twice and still have no solution of woking.

    My system:

Windows 10 x 64 i5 8 GB Ram Radeon onboard. 1 TB SSD with plenty of available space.

    Anywone has an idea?

In the past, I had some problems with the games and the GPU but managed by changing the settings of the first GPU. Unable to find anything like that for first again...

  • First CC 7.2.2 crashes when you try to export via Media Encoder

    Hello

    My computer is:

    2 x Intel Xeon processor E5-2650 (2000 MHz, 20 MB);

    16 x Kingston DIMM 8 GB PC3-8500 ECC REG. ;

    PNY Quadro 4000 with 2048 MB GDDR5 - RAM;

    PNY Tesla C 2075

    2 x 2000 GB Western Digital RE4 (7200 UPM/S-ATA II) as a RAID I

    1 x 120 GB OCZ Vertex 3 SSD

1 x 240 GB OCZ Vertex 3 SSD (system disk)

    Card mother Tyan S7050GM4NR

    Windows 7

I recently installed Windows 7 and the CC-Apps PremierePro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Speedgrade.

When I try to export any video from first to the first Media Encoder crashes without an error message. The problem is not the project: I created several new projects and even if I don't have that one Photoshop file in the scenario that I try to export: first goes down. When I export directly from first it works, but there is no chance to go via media encode. The strange thing is that I can export AfterEffects the encoder to media without any problems...

    Does anyone have an idea?

  • Crash Adobe first and Media encode

    Good evening

When I export a Media Encoder first film, first Media Encoder crashes.

Is there anyone who has gone through this too?

Today I installed a new GeForce GTX 650Ti and it does not solve the problem.

I am on Windows 7 Professional

Hope someone can help out me.

    Best regards, Wim

Your colleague Dmitri Tikhonov has the solution for this problem. It had to do with Quicktime Player.

The solution proposed to Dmitri was:

    1. Uninstall Quicktime player

2 re - install Quicktime player

3 start SOUL while holding the SHIFT key while loading.

    And now it works fine!

Thank you all and especially Dmitri to solve the problem!

    Best regards, Wim

  • I can work on another project in After Effects while making another project (AE) in Media Encoder?

(I use the current AE CC 2014)... I tried twice to start working on a project in After Effects, while ANOTHER project is made in the Media Encoder. Both times he (Media Encoder) hung up / crashed. I thought that at the point of a program separate Encoder was so I COULD work on another project in AE at the same time that another project was rendered in the Media Encoder.

I do something wrong, or should I just WAIT for encoding in Media Encoder to finish before I can do other things in AE?

[I tried to search through help. If I she's here... I just missed.]

    Thanks (in advance) for assistance.

    Definitely wait.

Because I don't get help in the Forum first, I'm re - this ad here...

Nevermind, I got it working last night by uninstalling programs that Patch Tuesday broke out. First, Media Encoder and I discovered that prelude did not work either.

All the work now after an uninstall, reboot and reinstall. The patches also reset my account to default.location creative cloud is custom location, and I have to bring it back to another location. My SSD is quite small and I didn't want the data files here, just the OS and program files.

Thank you Lord! SOLUTION AT LAST!

After having been informed by tech adobe support that: "I'm sorry, but this is a file from the base of the core of the system, we cannot do much."

I decided that I was going to test each component in user accounts and find the culprit manually.

I have studied everything that I could all kernelbase.dll NTUSER.dat and parameters of the first.

From what I could gather kernelbase.dll if crushed more often when the 32-bit and 64-bit settings are not configured right.

I downloaded Registry Explorer 0.7 and analyzed a new vs account a "corrupted".

I discovered that windows keeps a record of the last access programs via OPEN/SAVE location.

    It is located in:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSavePidl MRU\prproj

    To solve the problem:

It comes to registry changes, do at your own risk!

    1. Create a new user account with admin rights. I'll call it "AdminRescue".
    2. Connection in "AdminRescue" and open first cc, check that the problem has disappeared.
    3. Now you could start using the new account and forget the old, but I find myself that making 3 times in 4 months, the issue will come back again.
    4. The solution is to runREGEDIT under the new account that you created.
    5. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSavePidl MRU\prproj
    6. Select prproj and export it to a disk usb or c:\adobefix
    7. Disconnect from the new user account and log in to the old damaged account
    8. Run Regedit
    9. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSavePidl MRU\prproj
    10. Select prproj and Delete
    11. Select OpenSavePidMRU and import the regkeys exported in the new account. located in the usb or c:\adobefix
    12. FIXED!
  • Media Encoder crashes at startup

Whenever I try to launch Adobe Media Encoder CS5 (Version 5.0.1.0 64-bit), it crashes on the chart title with the message:

    "Loading ImporterQuickTime.bundle".

Left to do its thing for 30 minutes and it still doesn't react.

Any idea what could cause this problem?  I do not know what newspapers I should post.

FYI I am running it on Mac 10.6.5 on a quad in early 2008 Xeon Mac Pro.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

Have you installed the third-party codecs? I've seen this happen when a bad codec could not be loaded and this caused QuickTime to not answer, which caused then Adobe Media Encoder hang while trying to initialize the QuickTime components.

  • First pro cc 2015.3 Crash at startup

I've updated to the new 2015.3 and now it crashes at startup. I uninstalled and reinstalled with the same result. It's crazy. I have work to do. Thinking back to Final Cut because of the constant problems. Y at - it a fix for this? I'm on a Macbook pro 15 inch 2012. 2.6ghz intel core i7, nvidia geforce gt 650 1024Mo.

Ok. I noticed that before it crashed this loading fxfactory. I never use so I uninstalled it and now it works. I do still get Media encoder to work. Adobe you win for now, but I look at you!

  • 'Error compilation film unknown error' made or export in first or Media Encoder or

    Hi all

I'll have made troubled and the export of which certainly is a sequence quite complex 2.5 hours of first CC 2015 and Media Encoder. I'll describe the problem, then provide my card, then describe my attempts so far solutions:

    1. The problem: try to make my outside sequence gives the error "error compiling Movie. Unkown Error"at irregular intervals, sometimes after 10 seconds and sometimes after 10 minutes of rendering. It occurs also when rendering of three subsequences that he content and when expporting media first or Media Encoder.
    2. My specs:

Material - I am on Windows 10 x 64-bit on a desktop computer custom built with MSI AM3 + configuration motherboard with an AMD FX6350 3.9 GHz processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 2 GB AMD Radeon R9 380 graphics card, all current drivers.

Software - creation and Media Encoder are defined to use the reading Mercury (GPU acceleration) engine and the composite linear color, and are both set to update to version updated for release 2015 CC.
Sequence - I'm editing in square pixels of 1080 p AVCHD, 29.97 frames/second, 48000 Hz sampling frequency, using the only i-Frame MPEG video previews. My sequence has three subsequences, all of them contain a multicam pulling three video sources synchronized sequence (it is a composite event that was recorded live). I export in H.264 MP4 @ 10-12 Mbps with 'Match sequence settings' for the framerate, bitrate and size of the image.

    3. My attempted Solutions: , I started with the basics... Clear your cache of media, delete make files and files video preview, flatten your blocking sequences, export each subsequence individually, create a new project and import the old sequences, all this, trying to render and export between each of these steps. Frankly, I'm bad-shot in the gut. I desperately need to export this sequence successfully and there deliver my video to an audience online and from there, also create versions for DVD and Blu - Ray.

I'm just wishing so bad for an error code, a clip defective to be identified somewhere, an Executive responsible for headaches, something. Something besides, 'film compilation error. Unknown error. »

Grateful for any help offered by the community of users of wonderful to Adobe Premiere Pro.

    Hi Nathan,

Sorry for your troubles. Looks like you have a sequence that should be able to be exported, but can't. To add to your frustration, the warning dialog box has no clue as to what is the error. With what is happening at random intervals, it is really difficult to solve.

For the latter, the next release of Premiere Pro's warnings more explicit. This update is coming soon. In the meantime, let's work on the export of this sequence.

Firstly, log a case with support. Here are the details on how to contact them.

The first thing to look at is your system, I would say. It looks up to the requirements of the standard, however, it is quite a long sequence. If you have lots of GPU based effects and/or Lumetri effects, your VRAM might be out of memory, cancelling export and crashing with error compilation Movie.

If it was me, my prime suspect. How do you work around that? Avoiding the GPU? In fact, Yes. It will take time for export, most certainly. This could take days. Not much you can do, unfortunately, unless you muscle your hardware. Currently, my guess is that your GPU is probably not powerful enough for what you want to do. In the project settings > general switch to software only.

Can you avoid this in the future? Yes, with a different workflow what smart favours rendered instead of make or export at the same time with GPU based effects.

This means that you'd have to transcode the AVCHD video to a codec chip to make and restore the effects along the way in this same codec. At the time wherever you export, you are not typing the GPU because you use files preview instead.

Info: FAQ: how to speed up making, export or encoding?

    Thank you
