This problem causes my computer to run slowly when declaring it & close window. I installed the new software program on my computer and all software installed successfully programe have to restart the computer to run the program. But recently when I installed the new program after I restart my computer the missing program. When I click on the icon of the software on the desktop it ejects a box saying lack of icon and all of the program forced me to uninstall and reinstall it again to use it.
Can I know how to fix this problem? Sorry for the bad English. Will be grateful if someone could help it.
Thank you.
Hi Nic6,
You can first try to navigate to the folder C:\Program files and access the application and check that you are able to find the program and you can start from there. Sometimes, the shortcut to the file on the desktop may be corrupted.
Since we do not know how the program has gone or how it was deleted, I suggest that you try to perform a system restore to the date where you were able to access the program and check to see if that help.
To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:
a. Click Start, type system restore in the search box and then in the list click on the system restore program.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
b. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
c. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
d. click Finish.
The computer restarts and system files and settings are back to the State they were in when the restore point was created.
Access the link below to learn more about how to repair the operating system and how to restore the configuration of the operating system to a previous point in time in Windows:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-is-system-restore
If the steps above do not help, you may need to reinstall the program to your computer.
I hope this helps. Let us know the results.
Thank you and best regards,

* Original title: app Crash
In general, I store my programs on a USB key. I've never had a problem installing or running
install them on my computuer using windows 7 home edition 64-bit.
Lately after trying to install a specific program, I get this appcrash, check the event log.
It seems to say that the file for this installation is damaged, but how can this be since the installation has worked before?
Get corrupted - it happens. Jump drives die all the time. You might be able to reformat (erase) and get more life out of it, or you can get a new USB, install again and use it until it is damaged again.
Average life of a disk is 5.2 years, but just like people, many drive die younger and many die older. You never know what will be yours.

Computer "Nuked", installed XP, missing drivers.
Hi, I would really help here. I used a program to my computer and then reinstalled using a play, windows XP OS disk. After a bit of tinkering I got it operational. Now, it works great except for the issue of internet. I have no driver of the internet, I have tried everything that I could download and install and nothing has worked so far. I have a Pavilion Elite m9058n desktop computer and really need a driver from the internet that works for XP. I spent from vista to XP also. When I click on network connections, that's not even list my wireless card (built in) or ethernet. Under unknown devices my WLAN is listed as 802.11 bg WLAN. I tried the live help, but they only told me to buy new software. I really really want a solution to this. It's been weeks since I did not have internet and I really need the school documents. Please help and thanks in advance!
Install the Chipset driver and reboot. Then install all other drivers.

Safari windows/tabs closure after computer restart
Before all the tabs in Safari would remain open (even after restarting the computer) until I have to stop them, which was a feature I really enjoyed. As of today, it closes after every stop, and I don't know why. I made the Version 10.10.5 security update and update of Safari Version 9.1, cleared cookies and history, and nothing seems to fix. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Safari-> Preferences-> general is the "Safari opens with:" pull down together to 'all windows from last session "?

I'm not stupid. I know how to enable or disable password remembering thing in options, but it simply doesn't. He remembers the passwords and logins from sites that I decide to do not. I can restart my computer and Open firefox and go straight into my email online account. It is very annoying.
Note that Firefox stores cookies of tabs open as session data in the sessionstore.js file, so if you leave tabs open when you close Firefox then you can always be connected the next time.
You can set the browser.sessionstore.privacy_level pref 2 (never) or 1 (not HTTPS) on the topic: config page to disable the registration of cookies via session restore.
The browser.sessionstore.privacy_level_deferred pref is used when you do not reopen last session automatically via "show my windows and tabs from last time" and use the same values.

You can try to Uninstall and reinstall Flash. If the problem persists you can also temporarily disable Flash in (Alt + T) Tools > Addons > Plugins and try the HTML5 videos wherever possible. Most of the videos without ads embedded have equivalents of HTML5. You can also try opening the problematic sites in IE Tab + or IE Tab in Firefox.

I managed to solve the problem by doing something with my registry. Now after a week his new broke and I don't remember how I fixed it. I am running windows vista ultimate. I discovered that it was broken again by trying to download java. HALP.
I rebooted my computer in any way, and nothing has worked. However, it seems even e-mail links have stoped working.
I can only suggest that you back up all your personal files and folders you want to keep in a flash drive or an external hard drive, then...
1. If your computer comes with a Vista installation DVD, you can use it to perform a repair installation.
Repair for Vista installation

If you do not, find a friend who has a. Make sure it has the same version of bits as yours.2. If you have a set of recovery disks created at the time you purchased your computer, use and restore your computer to 'presets' (as the first is out of the box)
If you do not have a set of facts, contact the manufacturer of your computer, ask a set of recovery disks. The cost is very low and it is well worth the expense.
In the same Helena ask to speak to a technician. Ask the person to teach you how to access your recovery partition (if you have one) and how to use it to restore your system. The recovery partition was the installation by the manufacturer of your computer. They know exactly how to use it.
With my limited knowledge, that's all I can help you.

I have to restart the computer before installing other programs?
When you install a PC I find my self install a program, restarting and doing so over and over again. Is it safe to install a few programs at a time before restart? This would cause problems? A plane ticket, few programs do not ask to reboot once installed, so I usually install a little more to save time and then restart.
It is better to restart after the installation of all programs before installing more just in case where some files take effect to restart.
I also always check to make sure that the program that I installed and running before installing more. By doing this, if you have problems, you will know which program is causing the problem.

If I used a creative combination on an old computer, then installed in my new computer but had to do a factory reset on computer; I could still install Creative suit on the same computer even after factory reset with the CD?
Yes, you should be able to reinstall, but if you can you should disable before resetting the machine. Otherwise, if the two license activations were used and no reset you will need to contact Adobe Support by chat and ask them to reset your activations.

Hello
I have WINDOWS VISTA and just tried to reinstall my laptop of restoration on a HARD disk partition.
The restore went through, but then I got the error: WINDOWS COULD NOT COMPLETE the INSTALLATION. TO INSTALL WINDOWS ON THIS COMPUTER, RESTART THE INSTALLATION
When I press 'OK' (which is the only option), it tries to start again, until I get the same error through the black screen.
How can I get out of this loop please?
Thank you.

Hello
For any problem with the help of the recovery Partition that has been copied to the hard disk by the computer manufacturer, you must contact them.
This recovery process is the manufacturer, not Microsoft.
________________________________________________
You never told us why you wanted to do a restore. If you had serious errors and the recovery process does not work, you will have hardware problems. BUT we're only guessing at this stage due to lack of information to help you.
See you soon.
