  Keep in mind that if you delete on the background layer (the default name), deletion is replaced by the current color set in the chip of background color as shown in the toolbar. By default, it is white, so if you are selection and deletion of a white background you will end up with white again. If you want that transparency first change the background to a normal layer Layer renaming.

  Thanks Anubha Goel, final I got it to work... The serial number in the physical box that you buy in the store wasn't the number for the software.  It was the serial number in the cloud, very difficult to know when you see a serial number in the box with the Cd online.  But thanks for the reply to my post. • My office has just done a repair XP after a hardware change and now all user accounts have disappeared and he asks the administrator password when connecting!

  I believe you can use a UBCD4Win CD or Hiren Boot CD to locate and right click on the files you want to change. And then, if you properly in your repair facility, you change the attributes after you're done.

  Firefox does not apparently see that a high enough version of Adobe Flash is already installed (there is no downgrade). Other applications are able to run Flash without any problems.

  The Flash player for Firefox is 10.2.159.1 that the fixed Zero Day exploit in the previous version, see: Adobe releases update of Flash Player Security.

  What I suggest you do is to go to http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html and download Adobe Flash uninstaller, and that (first close Firefox). Then, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to obtain the current version.

  Uninstaller will also uninstall IE8, so you'll have to use that to download and install it again I'm afraid. This is because the version of Firefox does not have the ActiveX control that is required to operate the Flash in IE8.

  Now try control-alt-shift key (Ctrl-alt-shift on Windows) and start Photoshop. An option button will open and opt for delete the settings file - see if that helps any.
