My problem now is my system continues to alert me that I have 0 hours left of my assessment and install a new version of windows just before the blue screen with a partial message blocking by referring to the same thing. How can I fix without losing all my installed software and etc. ?

After installing SP2 for Vista, everything that I try to print from this computer prints in format post little matter what I tell the printer to do. I use a laptop Acer Aspire 9410, 32-bit, Windows Vista, IE 8. Commands from another computer on the printer work properly. Should I uninstall SP 2 & reinstall? Or what is the best fix for the problem? Thank you.

Can't windows after installing SP2 for Vista
I reinstalled my 32 bit Vista OS and all updates this weekend and it worked fine. Tonight there was an available SP2 and I downloaded and installed. The computer has been rebooted and never started. At one point he showed a line of registry and was hanging there with him showing. I do not write it down, but shut down the computer. I tried a recovery disc that I had done, but it does not work. How can I go back to windows. I even tried to go into safe mode but who do not have me to Windows.

Computer Toshiba laptop does not start after trying to install SP2 for vista 32 bit
Tried to install SP2 for vista updates, it stagnates at 12%, message saying a problem has been detected and windows has been closed to protect the computer. At the bottom of the error message screen, it reads, technical info-stop OXOOOOC1F5. Windows doesn't start at all now, has tried running safe mode, pilots seem to load, then it returns to the screen error message with the same problem said. Nothing seems to work, tried same recovery disk came with the computer, it says it is loading files, then it returns also to error message screen. Computer came with vista pre-installed, so I don't have this drive to try. Someone at - it solutions? Very frustrating, how do I search problem when the computer will not start at all? Help!
Follow the info below to try a Startup Repair:
As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.
If yours falls into the category above, download the ISO on the link provided and make a bootdisk of it.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.
Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.
http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
It's a very good Vista repair disc.
You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
There is not a disk of resettlement. And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

Somone can me link for windows vista ultimate SP2
Somone can me link for windows vista ultimate SP2 because I lost my cd
Hello
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a small fee.
"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246
And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.
The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup.
Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.
Ask them to the proper key sequence.
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Vista theme disappeared after installing SP2
I updated vista 64 Service Pack 2 to allow the installation of ie9. After installing sp2, my taskbar has been changed and the vista theme completely disappeared. Areas of the screen are now much brighter, lighter or white (taskbar now is almost white and has the old style box 'Start'). I went in the 'appearance' of the control panel section and searched the vista theme - it's gone. Installation of task bar that I had before the sp2 update is missing. How can I get that back? I tried to remove and reinstall sp2 and restore to earlier date and put it back - no matter what I do the screwed up theme with no option to get the old back. Everything else works fine. How to bring back the task of vista bar/color theme? Is there a file I can load up? I'm tired of wasting time of uninstallation/reinstallation. We don't like also how change is so brilliant screen - and we do not find a way to change that either - there is no manual ocntrols and not to tarnish the brightness - no indication 'aid' does not provide - it says adjust buttons that do not exist. How to bring back the vista theme?

stepupgrade windows vista business Japanese version for windows vista Ultimate edition
Recently, I bought a laptop in the Japan. The operating system is Windows Vista Business Japanese Version. I'm not familiar with the Japanese language and because of that I wanted to change it to English. I had discovered to find the way to put in place, but I found there was no way else to solve except buy a new Windows Vista with English Version or mine upgrade to Windows Vista ultimate. And I want to ask a question:
1. is there anything else beside what I mentioned above?
2. If I decided to buy a Step-Upgrade Vista Ultimate DVD Business, should I buy with the same language version with my Vista business, Japanese Version? Or is it fine with Step-setting level Vista Business to ultimate DVD English version anyway?
3. Please show me how to change the display language after upgrade my Vista to Vista Ultimate!
3. in the future, if there is a problem that I have to reinstall the OS, this DVD of Step - update allows again?Thank you for your attention.
I'm sorry, my English is not good enough, I hope that you will understand my questions.Best account.
LouiseChange language:
1. to change your Vista professional Japanese language to English, you can buy a Japanese Vista Ultimate Upgrade disk/license.
Then download the English language through Windows Update as an option Pack.
Vista Ultimate upgrade must be done in the original language Vista came.
2. your other Option is to buy a FULL Vista Business English version and do a clean install.
3. If you want to reinstall, you need the original installation of business > Ultimate upgrade > re-download the optional updates in Windows English Language Pack...
See you soon.

Why can't go from Vista Home Premium to Vista Ultimate?
I have a laptop double boot configured with Vista Home Premium and Windows 7 Professional.
I bought Vista Ultimate professional to upgrade the installed Vista. The 'Upgrade' feature is disabled in my professional (full) Vista Ultimate package. Why?
Update requires the same Service Pack level. For example, if your current Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 or SP2 installed, you will need to uninstall the Service Pack to be able to use the Windows Vista Ultimate Edition disc, you have that has no Service Pack integrated.

Hi Herman,.
You can try to use Windows Easy Transfer to transfer data and settings to C: on D: drive and install Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit on the C: drive. After installing Windows Vista 64 bit on C: drive try to reuse Windows Easy transfer to transfer the data back (from D: to C: drive).
You can also take an external data backup before you attempt the Installation of Windows Vista.
