• Libraries / theme for the prototyping of application basis - your recommendations?

  I'm a UX professional, and as a new convert to Adobe CC, I am eager to try/use Muse to the construction of prototypes for user testing.

  In the immediate future, I am hoping to use Muse to create a prototype for a web application for my client. It's a kind of dashboard relatively simple administrator.

  My client and I won't draw me everything from the beginning (I'm not a designer self - I build just the prototype for testing of the user). So what I want TO is sort of a 'starter pack' with all the elements of the page - I need buttons, messages of error, titles, fonts, forms, menus, tables, perhaps a graph or two, etc.

  I'd like something that looks clean, modern and 'good' (not models Balsamiq-style in this case). However, the highly stylized themes are not suitable... I do not see a creative / photography / sports / food site etc etc etc, I just want to build a dashboard functional but attractive. I guess that, in some ways, what I am after is a kind of Twitter bootstrap for Muse.

  
  

  I was not able to find a theme or a library that seems to do the trick, but to be honest that I may well be looking in the wrong places, or even misunderstanding how to go about it. The answer is maybe to a wide selection of libraries and to reconstruct them... but it would be useful if there was a single resource, with which I have worked.

  Can anyone suggest where I should look for this kind of thing?

  Or, if I am barking the wrong tree (no doubt!), other useful suggestions?

  I started to build a library of UI elements for a single end. most of them that I find on Graphicriver, mainly because the price is nice. Certainly, many designs are beginning to be very similar, but if you sort though them, you can find very good.

  Now, regarding the use of Muse to develop a web application, especially as an admin dashboard, you might find that a bit like trying to hammer a nail with the heel of a shoe. I guess you will need to have the connection of data at any given time - which is certainly not possible within the Muse, and if you're a coder you will probably find that output Muse does not lend itself to this process. Not a slam against Muse - this is supposed not to deliver this kind of functionality, since it was designed for designers, developers and coders.

  However, if you strictly plan on the creation of a down and dirty quick proto with the basic features, then actually develop the final with another more suitable platform for work, Muse will probably please you. That said, if you read these message boards, you will see that MANY people have a LOT of problems with Muse - especially after this last update, and especially if they are on a Mac.

  When I updated all of my applications to 2015 CC, I lost the license for Photoshop and After Effects. All my other apps are not affected. I tried following the instructions here: Creative Cloud applications unexpectedly back in the test mode. CS6, CCM but it still says that there is no license associated with my account.  I'm running OS X version 10.9.5 and I version the full creative cloud student. What else could I do to retrieve my apps? Thank you.

  Open Safari while holding the SHIFT key

  Try to reset the settings of Safari:

  1. open Safari

  2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

  3. Select the Preferences/Privacy tab

  4. click on remove all data from the Web site

  5. close Safari.

  Remove cache Safari files:

  1. click on finder

  2. look for the menu GO to top

  3. click on GO and hold down the option key. This will show a user library folder.

  4. click library and find the Caches folder

  5. in the folder caches com.apple.Safari Ouvrezledossier

  6. move the Cache.db file Trash.

  This should solve the problem. If it does not help, try to disable the Safari extensions

  1. open Safari

  2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

  3. Select Preferences

  4. find the Extensions tab

  5 disable all extensions of

  6. relaunch Safari

  I have a problem, I'm fighting currently to solve - iTunes 12.3.3.17 iTunes crashes after playing the song for about 30 seconds.

  I already tried things:

  (1) the preferences removed from the library, so that they can be recreated - did not work;

  (2) reinstalled iTunes - not worked;

  (3) removed freshly installed Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac - did not help.

  Product: Macbook Air

  OS X El Capitan

  I receive the following information in the log file

  It seems that your iTunes software seems to be stop unexpectedly when you play the music back after about 30 seconds or more. First, I would check to see if there are errors on the disc that need repair:

  Disk utility (El Capitan): a disc repair

  Once the repair and verification done go ahead and test the issue again. If that fixes it, then great! If this is not the case, however, I would then remove third-party plug-ins that may interfere with the operation of iTunes:

  Test with iTunes plug-ins removed.

  • Quit iTunes.
  • Mac OS X:
    • ~/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins(The "~" represents your home folder)
    • /Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins
  • If all the files in this folder, move it to the desktop temporarily.
  • Open iTunes and test to see if the problem is resolved. If so, you can leave these plug-ins removed iTunes. If you want to reuse these iTunes plug-ins, check with the supplier of iTunes plug-ins to see if updates are available.

  If the problem is still there after removing the plugins or there is none to remove, then you must then create a new library, add content to it and see if the problem persists it:

  Open a different iTunes library file or create a

  Start > right click on computer and select Manage

  Select Device Manager

  Click on the + next to sound, video and game controllers

  Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

  Restart the computer and Windows will reload the driver

  Hi, Shada, this can happen if you include additional installers to your installer for example DAQmx. When you do this the installation program must include other files like MAX (Measuremente and Automation Explorer). Probably when you installed Vision Builder he updated MAX, so when your Installer try to understand MAX, his request the source where it was installed in your computer in this case Vision Builder.

  Here you can cache information so it is not asked once again, or you can download a version more recent fo DAQmx, then it will update MAX and change the dependecy.

  After I installed a new motherboard and CPU I got a stop error 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XB77EA756, 0XB84C742C, 0xB84C7128) and it restarted immediately. It always starts in safe mode, but I can't understand what is wrong. The old processor is a pentium 4 3 ghz, not sure what the motherboard was, new processor is AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual core 4200 + and I only know that the motherboard is an ASUS socket AM2. Device Manager does not recognize the CPU correctly, it shows just two entries called processor. As far as I can tell, it's almost certainly a driver issue, but I don't know how to diagnose or fix this. I am running windows XP home, I removed my video card, running 2 hard drives at 120 g (M) and 200 g (S), a DVD drive (M) and a reader of CD (S), and a stick of RAM to 1 GB.

  If you have made the change without having to reinstall XP, you will be taking and Pray H@ll. the best thing to do would be to reinstall XP and make sure you have the drivers available for your motherboard available so that you can update the installed chipset. In addition, be aware that if you have an OEM of Windows version, the license is dead when you changed the mother/CPU card.

  There is no need to cancel one for Windows since CC subscriptions are not platform specific.  Your subscription allows you to use it on Windows and Mac computers, so just install Mac on Mac files.

  Download/install the desktop application, connect and install applications subscription.
