After that windows update in windows vista my i cannot connect to the net

Hello

I connect to a new internet provide a year back and has never faced these problems. Now for a month when I do my windows update I discconected on the net. the next day is starting to work again, and then I do the windows update, it disconnects again. I can't see also "NETWORK ADAPTER" in Device Manager. I tried to update the drivers of Gigabyte.com but does not seem to do anything. For more information, I used McAfee earlier too, but now I switched to Norton Anti Virus. Will this be causing a problem?

This seems to be a problem with the modem DSL or ISP.
Try to stop the DSL modem for 10 minutes and try to check if Internet works fine. Also contact you ISP to verify what they say about it.

All the best

  • After that Windows 7 conclusion "No Internet access" in the wireless network?

I have a USB wireless network card installed in my office. All judging by the "connected network" showed, that he manages to connect to my wireless router, with I can't visit all websites due to "free Internet access". Only if I move my router where (almost) no wall blocking the path between my office and the router, will be solved the problem.

There is no problems surfing the Internet using my laptop (Windows XP) and the iPad, which also connect to the router.

I don't know what "No Internet access" while "Connected network" appears. To understand this, perhaps I should know what Windows 7 draws the conclusion "No Internet access" to the wireless network.

Thank you, everyone. I managed to figure out the problem last night. With this document that I found by Googling, http://www.usb.org/developers/whitepapers/327216.pdf, I tried to disconnect my DVD ROM USB plugged next to my wireless network card and found that this really WORKED, although the DVD ROM is USB 2.0 instead of 3.0.

In addition, as Shawn "Cmdr" Keene [MVP] said, I really need to I ignore the message "connected network". I ran the Ipconfig/all command frequently and found that sometimes the IP address of my wireless network card was no longer * 192.168.0 and the gateway, and the IP addresses of the DNS servers are null, even if the message "Connected network" remained all the time.

Hope this helps others who also have this problem, even though my English is not very good. : )

    The problem:

Updated to 8.1 Fusion Fusion 7 where I had a Windows XP Pro. After the merge upgrade I have upgraded to Windows 7 and followed the steps in the video by Stephen Gardner based on "upgrading a virtual machine VMware Fusion of Windows XP to Windows 7 (1015396).

After the removal and the reinstallation of the network card I have no network connection.

I tried to disable the Windows Firewall on the virtual machine and I gave permission to Fusion App and start App to run in the Norton Firewall on Mac.

I uninstalled and reinstalled VMware tools and tried different settings for the network card, but nothing gave me the connection to the network

on the bottem of my screen where the icons were similar to the he mcfee icon and symbol of volume there is a picture of 2 small computer screens, and when I scroll above him, it says connected to the network 4. What network average 4?

    original title: bottem icon

This icon is the icon of your network. You don't say what kind of network you are using. However, I will give you an example. If you repeat your network connection or use a network USB key and plug the key to another USB socket and create a new Windows login will name each new connection 4 then 2 then 3 and so on. You can rename the connection to your liking. To rename the link to right click on the network icon in the notification bar, click Network and sharing Center, click on manage network connections, right-click your network connection icon and click Rename.

  • Bluetooth on Windows 7, not work cannot connect to the Palm Smartphone

I have a HP Pavilion running Windows 7. I have a bluetooth adapter, but couldn't connect.  Diagnosis is specific to the device but unable to connect to my Palm Smartphone.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

1 is the Bluetooth device built into the machine, or you use a dongle to connect to the Bluetooth device?

You must have the drivers or firmware upgrades installed that are provided by the manufacturer for each device you want to connect. But before moving on to which you can check if you need to make your computer discoverable to Bluetooth devices, or set Windows to alert you when a new device is trying to connect to your computer. To do this, you need to control how your computer pairs with (connects to) Bluetooth devices.

Method 1: To control how your computer pairs with Bluetooth - devices

    (a) open the control panel by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel.

    (b) in the control panel search box, type Bluetooth, and then click Change Bluetooth settings.

    (c) in the Bluetooth settings dialog box, click the Options tab and do one of the following:

Pour rendre make your computer discoverable to Bluetooth devices, select the check box for Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer.

When a computer active Bluetooth device is in discoverable mode, it broadcasts a wireless signal that allows it to be detected by other Bluetooth compatible computers or devices. This is sometimes called pairing mode.

Warning - to help protect your computer against someone access it without your permission, only to make your computer discoverable when you want a Bluetooth device to find your computer. Disable discovery when you no longer need.

    (d) to allow Bluetooth devices to connect to your computer, select the check box for Allow Bluetooth to connect to this computer devices.

    (e) to be notified when a Bluetooth device is trying to connect to your computer, check the box for warn me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect.

You can also check the links provided below and check if the steps help you connect correctly.

How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows Vista:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135 Note: once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 7: to reset the computer as usual.

  • Windows vista x 64 comes back to the basic theme after update

    Greetings.

Last night, I shut down my computer and helped my computer complete the necessary updates. However, during the update, I have no idea WHY MY THEME EXCHANGE this MORNING AFTER I POWERED on MY COMPUTER. IT IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED AFTER AN UPDATE.

And you know what is more ironic, I CAN not EVEN FIND THE AERO THEME ANYWHERE IN customizations or anywhere in the computer! Mental right?
I am very angry, because working on the base is very laborious and inefficient; the tabs are not the same, the interface is not as flexible and quite frankly takes a lot of getting used to.

HOW CAN I GO BACK TO AERO AND ESPECIALLY WHAT HAS HAPPENED?

Sorry for his appearances in anger, I'm very frustrated by this situation and I don't have the time to deal with this right now.

    Hi Jeremy,.

Thanks a lot for your help. You're right, I should have said no upgrades and updates.
There were a total of 10 updates:
4 a security updates for Vista,
1 security update for the Microsoft 2010 information access path,
1 day of cumulative security for IE9.
    1 windows Live essential 2011
1 definition update Windows Defender (KB915597)
    1 "" for Office 2010 "
    1 April 2013 malware tool
I uninstalled Windows Live Essentials. I felt that I should not uninstall the updates of security, and the Defender update can not be uninstalled. It made no difference.
I also checked the graphics card and told me that I had the latest version of the software.
Then I checked the configuration of the monitor and graphics card configuration and found I could set the configuration to full frame. I did it and now all is well again.
How and why the full frame disappeared April 16 remains a mystery.
Thank you very much for your information without your help I would have been unable to delve deeply into the system. I learned a lot.

    Hello

It happens after installing the OS from the Toshiba Recovery CD?
You have installed any additional program?

I noticed a similar freeze on my laptop. For the most part, it happened because the background process has not closed, and so the laptop could not force the closure downwards. In my case it was an adobe acrobat reader software that could not close.

I think you should you HDD defragment and use the freeware CCleaner application.
This program cleans the program errors and corrects registry entries.

Try it! Maybe it s not a serious problem!
