  It seems that the wireless mouse or mouse wireless drivers/software has a bad influence on the touchpad.
  I put t have a good solution for this problem. Well, you can consult the page of the Toshiba driver for latest driver updates. If the updates doesn't solve this problem I suggest to use either the mouse wireless and disable the touchpad with FN + F9 key combination or use a regular USB mouse.
  I guess that you are having regular problems with a USB mouse.

  I had been using sqldeveloper - 3.2.20.09.87 in my machine (windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit) for the last 2 weeks. I was able to connect to the database and query successfully. I used to double click on the sqldeveloper/bin/sqldeveloper.bat file to launch the application.
  It is however stopped working today. A black window (batchfile) appears and disappears. Everything I have read it as - Xmx640M: illegal argument.
  
  I even tried to reinstall and download a lowerversion of sqldeveloper. But the question remains the same.
  
  Any help would be appreciated.

  Since the goal is to open your CMD of the console window to see the errors displayed, I guess I should have said...
  1. open a CMD console window.
  2. change directory to \sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin, where is the installation directory.
  3. then, executez.\sqldeveloper.bat ou.\sqldeveloper.exe in the console.

  Solution to workaround MSVCR71.dll is absent by placing a copy in \sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin. If you have downloaded the 32-bit version of SQL Developer with the JDK included, you can find this dll in \sqldeveloper\jdk\jre\bin.

  I hope that other errors you see will prove to be more informative that -Xmx640M: illegal argument, which is not really logical to me.
