HP sent me a printer replacement for one who does not connect.

My question is, Im on the instant ink programme with this printer.

How can I go on the withdrawal of this printer and registering a new one in the program of the ink?

I won't be charged twice for a printer in the program is my concern. Thank you

Hi @Stegle.

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you would like to know how to delete a printer and write a new with instant ink program. I would like to help.

You will need to log into your instant account of ink. From there, you can cancel the account. The arrival of the replacement printer you can add it to your existing account.

This document will help: HP Instant - how to cancel your Instant HP ink cartridges ink Plan

Was it the instant ink Department which has replaced your printer? They should instantly send in with the replacement printer cartridges. This is because the cartridges are locked for each printer. Instant ink Department can also help to remove the old printer from your account and adding the new printer.

Here's the Info for instant contact of ink: HP Instant ink program

I would like to know if these measures worked for you. If they did, it's great! Give us some reinforcements by pressing buttons of solution and laurels, that we will help and others see that we have the answers!

Recently installed new software last 8610 and downloaded.  Not install the option to order ink automatically.

The device uses the ATF feeder to reproduce documents, but did not during the scanning - it assumes that the document is on the glass, while feeder warning tones and the display Panel recognizes that a document is in the charger.  I went to the computer and access to the HP printer Assistant by some other items, but see that I don't have any options for scanning under HP printer Assistant. I ran HP Update for this printer and it says my software is up to date.

    Hello

Thanks for the comments, it seems that, somehow, older drivers are in conflict with the 8610 causes the scan communication error.

Glad to see everything is working now.

Please click on "Bravo Thumbs up" as an encouragement and "Accept as solution" if it helped to solve your problem.

  • New printer Officejet - 8610 pro - after having installed a noise strong cartridges occurs

Trying to set up a new printer, Officejet Pro 8610. Installed the cartridges - when he tried to calibrate them there was a clicking noise, it cancelled the calibration.  The sound repeats whenever I try to do anything. I tried to reinstall the cartridges. The machine itself does not indicate a problem, and seems to be ready. So far I tried only to copy, which failed. Everything turns and noise.

The problem was solved by replacing the printer.  Believe me, I've tried all the tricks, reloading, disconnect, etc..  Finally called HP Support - which was very good - and they have helped me determine that I had bought a defective machine.  Replaced it and the new one works fine.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Times New Roman fonts will print on HP Officejet Pro 8610

My new HP Officejet Pro 8610 not print documents, spreadsheets or test pages to printer containing the font Times New Roman (of any size).  It does not have a job in the print queue.  In Excel, I get the error message "Generic_2_Q294552".

My configuration: computer a HP Pavilion Elite NY809AV-ABA e9119t; running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1; HP Laserjet 5 L, HP 1310 PCS and HP D4360 all print do it very well.

My new printer: HP Officejet Pro 8610, FDP1CN1502AR firmware revision, connected via a USB cable.  [Also connected via a cable to cable modem ethernet.]

What I've done so far to help out the last 3 days: reinstalled printer (3 times), the most recent today with a published installer today. restarted the printer; restarted the computer after every significant change; updated the firmware in the printer; tried two different USB cables; tried to print fonts in Microsoft Word 7, Microsoft Excel 7 and directly from the font file; Reinstall the fonts Times New Roman of backup; visited the forums and tried all the solutions I have for any similar problem; tried the winprint, hpzppw71 and hpzpplhn print processors with RAW and NT EMF 1,008 formats data types; found and fixed all the problems I have found with all hardware and software, as well as to the latest updated version of the software.

Finally, I seem to have problem solved for me.

First of all, a few comments, just for the record:

-in the affected user accounts, "Print Test Page" fails in the printer properties, but HP printer & Scanner doctor said that everything is okay, and printing test page without any problems

-newly created user accouts working fine

In the end, I recognized that my user accounts have a default TEMP variable: I redirect to the HARD drive to avoid piercing main SSD drive for temporary files. Setting permissions on this directory to the user everyone "Full control" (not only 'Edit'!) does the job: printer starts to print correctly. Phew!

I hope that this helps you, Tom and others get this problem!

  • HP OfficeJet 8610: Install a new printer to replace an old HP printer

I don't know what software to remove it from my computer.

I am replacing an OfficeJet 7310 with an OfficeJet 8610.

I installed the printer, then ran the tool on the site to make sure that it was installed correctly.

I can't access my printer features as Solutions Center will not update. Looking for the old OfficeJet 7310.

    Here are the messages:

Use the tool, you said. Yes, I did. Everything is installed correctly, here is the message: the current full HP software is already installed and drivers seem to be installed correctly. To check the functionality completely, click on the Test button below.

Then I click on the HP Solution Center program.
HP solutions Center can not run because your device installation is not complete.
Please connect the USB cable or re-run the Setup program from the installation to a network installation CD.
If it does not complete the installation or if you do not have the CD, access the HP help files, blah blah blah

    Hello

The HP Solution Center program is affiliated with your old printer, it have nothing to do with the most recent 8610 printer.

I would say running the 7310 below installation selecting uninstall, which will remove all the components of your old printer such as the driver of the printer, the HP, the features of HP digital imaging solution center to avoid such confusion:

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software11/COL30951/MP-76831-1/AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141.exe

The software for your new printer (HP Priner Assistant) can be started by clicking on the HP Officejet Pro 8610 icon from your desktop or from the startup of the printer folder.

  • HP Office Jet Pro 8610 do not print, but will only fax

We have a HP Office Jet 8610 Pro and it worked fine until we hung like a fax also Thursday.

He used to copy, print, scan perfectly but it takes a new fax machine, so we went and bought the phone cord and hung a fax and telephone line with built in answering the Office Jet and the fax jobs, but now it not print a document in Open Office to the printer because she's trying to make a fax cover page.

I've ran out of ideas can you please help?

There are two pilots "printer" there, to print, choose the "printer Officejet Pro 8610' instead of the 'Officejet Pro 8610 FAX. Probably, you set another value by default when the fax feature is added, which is for the PC - fax. If you use the print function more often than the fax, make non-fax the default printer.

    Multipoint unresolved printing problem:

HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 had printed out successfully all the three above mentioned computers since the purchase of the 04/04/2015. End of August 2016 he started intermittently refusing to print wireless, sometimes do not connect wireless or holder from job to job.

09/06/16 I posted the question on the Forum of community HP between 07/09/16 and 08/09/16 had dialogue on possible solutions. I followed the Commission received and interpreted it following recommended tasks - all without result:

    (1) sequential power off and cord power to the router Range Extender, OfficeJet 8610 Pro and iMac and removal after 60 seconds of powering the devices in the same order. Result: would not print.

    (2) off wireless to iMac. IMac connected to a printer via an Ethernet cable. Printer would not print.

    (3) tried to scan the printer for iMac's wireless: would not scan.

    (4) tried Scan via an Ethernet cable from the printer to iMac: Scan worked.

    (5) connecting iMac via an Ethernet cable to the router and printing system reset iMac to remove the printer and then added printer as directed by its name: HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 [455491]. The results have been mixed:

    (a) wireless to iMac to the router and Ethernet cable router for printer: test page printed.

    (b) the iMac to the router and wireless router for printer: test page will not print.

08/09/16, having nothing specified by HP Community Forum, I contacted AT & T, the provider of my router and all my services (wireless, broadband, Internet, fixed phone) for the Support service.

    AT & T: recommended

    (1) make a new Setup wireless printing HP itself using my secure wireless network name and password, and then perform a reboot of the router. Between the two actions (new set-up and router reboot), the printer starts and print a previously submitted test page. To confirm that the printer was actually working, I turned off the printer, waited, he turned back and tried to print Test page: the page not print.

    (2) AT & T then told me to do a new manual of the printer setting. Just as I got Set Up on the screen of the printer, the printer prints the Test Page.

AT & T told me that the printer should work fine now.

Once I have shut down my system and restarted the 09/09/16, I found that I could not print anyway:

Wireless to the router for printer

Wireless to the router and Ethernet cable for printer

Ethernet cable to the router and wireless to a printer

    Ethernet cable for printer

Another experiment on 11/09/16 led to erratic printing depends on the original machine:

1 iMac for HP printer: wireless printer for iMac gives not the Page of Test sent for printing, but a series of blank pages, followed by several pages of code and followed by more white pages. Code pages are all the same and then talking about the Cambria police (body).

    a. the first pages all State: %! PS-Adobe-3, 0% APL_DCS_Encodiong: UFT8% APLProducer: (Version 10.11.6 (Build 15 1)

    b. human beings second page with: 14 start/FontName dict / TJOLUV+ def Cambria

Page 2 on three subsequent print reading attempts the same as above, except for a different set of letters before "+ Cambria". A UAXKPA, a JJCFBS, and the third is WOKHHG.

    2. yet, when I tried to print the Test Page of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro wireless, printing is successful (i.e., the test page prints and do not print pages blank and coded.

I'm sorely need a remedy to this overall situation.

    • What is originally intermittently, the HP printer?
    • What is originally a wireless printing and Ethernet to vary?
    • What is causing the iMac to print Virgin and code pages when the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro both print pages "regular"?
    • The question one demanding a new router?

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8610: HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 do not print

    Hello

I use OfficeJet Pro 8610 as a network printer. Three computers have access to it. Two PC works fine with the printer, a - is not. The problem is the computer with Windows XP (the other two are: also a XP and Windows 8).

I installed the drivers and software with CD. OJ8610 is visible, it is under "devices and printers".  When I try to print something I get messege that the page is sent to the printer, but later there is no reaction. There are no jobs in the queue.

Can you provide assistance for this situation?

It seems that my problem is solved. I did it, it's always before trying your solution.

    That's what I did:

    1. I uninstalled the drivers and the software of the instrument;

    2 rebooted in Safe Mode;

    3 restarted again and started Windows normally;

    4. connect the device to the computer via the USB cable.

    5. install the drivers - NOT to launch the HP CD, but using "Add new printer" Wizard in "printers and faxes" under the control panel (when asked for the location of the drivers, I indicated on the HP CD).

    6. I printed the test page - and it worked.

    7. then, I installed the device as a network using CD HP printer.

    8. I have test page printed successfully as a network printer using my camera.

    Hello

I just installed and tested my new printer "LaserJet Pro 100 M175a MFP color".

In the first test to copy a completely black page is out.

Scanner is also 'not found '.

Should I is it possible for me to find the solution to the problem or I have to bring it back to the shop?

    Hello trixy

When a scanner is out an image/file all in black, this usually indicates a hardware problem. If the printer is new you can bring back to the store and exchange it.

SO... I stopped the printer to start again... and now, the

HELP... This is a new printer & I can't open.
    Thank you kindly.

    Hi @paulallah,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printer problem.

I understand that you have a printer of HP all-in-one OfficeJet Pro 8720 which took a long time to initialize and is now stuck in a mode 'check' cartridges after the reboot it because transport would not move to the Center. I would like to help with that.

I would start by doing a Reset of the power on the printer.

If that fails to solve the problem, you might want to speak with HP Technical Support as there may be a hardware problem.

You mentioned that you are using a Mac running OS X 10.5 Leopard or more. The HP all-in-one OfficeJet Pro 8720 printer is only compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion or later.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

Indeed, if this help you to achieve a solution please click the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

    Thank you!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610: HP Officejet Pro 8610 does not print Quickbooks checks

I just replace my HP 6500 with a newer model and they have not yet fixed issues with print Quickbooks checks. With my old printer, I try several types of paper/quality until I finally stumbled upon the combination that worked, and it seems that now I have the same task in front of me with the 8610 - so far nothing has yet.

For a 'printer office' jet it is very frustrating that the printer is not set up to recognize paper cheque. (Good to know that if I ever have the need to print on paper "Hagaki" they have listed this option - but no paper cheque? really?)

I tried the other print driver work around and that has not worked.

Any ideas? This new printer is basically useless to me if I write all my checks.

Update for all of you who have this problem... I finally got to print cheques by installing a new printer for the 8610 manually by choosing the HP Deskjet 6980 series pilot.

Can't believe that HP made us jump through some hoops to solve a problem that they themselves fixed with an update but it is what it is, I suppose and it will certainly affect what brand I will be buying next time - I've never had a problem with the brother I have to my other office!

However, if I try to print any GMAILs, nothing happens.  I checked I have the selected 8610 as default printer and the printer has the correct documents ready, but nothing happens.

OK, let's check how Chrome is set up to print.  (I also have a 8610 and easily print chrome!)

Open any page.  Either type CTRL-P or open the Menu and select 'print '.  Another page should open with the printing options.  What do you see?  Your printer to display by default, or "Save as PDF" by default?

Look at the field "Destination".  Just to make sure that you have selected the right printer, click on the "Edit" button, then see "Local Destinations".  Click on the "Manage" link to see all available printers.

Remember that the right pair has been selected.  Mine shows that "HP Officejet Pro 8610 (network)" and has the green check by default.

Something is not right to install in Chrome.  Worst case, we can uninstall/reinstall Chrome it!

I just got an Officejet Pro 8600 N911a and installed out of the box with no problems... it prints, copies and scans wonderfully.

I just downloaded this package "complete" on HP.com and that seems to work as well.  He put an icon on my desktop and programs (I use Windows 7 64-bit) which is a shortcut that points to this "C:\Program HP HP Officejet Pro 8600\Bin\HP Officejet Pro 8600.exe" - UDCDevicePage start

The first time I used this, he showed me a page of control with options to check the ink levels, connectsion etc.  Then I rebooted, and now if I click on the icon, I get the message of Windows asking me if its ok for the program change windows (as if its about to install something) and then shows me a box that wants to connect a new printer or change the wireless settings.  I tried to run the program from the command prompt with and without the "-Start UDCDevicePage ' qualifier and it gives me the same thing.  ... Always the same restart.

the printer works fine... just this irritating program.  any thoughts?

Something was damaged during the restart. You need to just uninstall and reinstall the software and the drivers again.
