AIO HP J 6480

Windows 7, 32 bit.

Having the darndest time install the HP Solution Center.  Installing the drivers and printing and scanning of a work trial, but does not install the Solution Center.  (At the end of the installation of the party seeking to set up the software, repeatedly fails also, but the drivers are o my PC and the printer will print.  Is there a current HP washer that will allow for a complete uninstall to allow a good installation using Windows 7?

My installation disk has been configured for Vista and so I suspect the scrubber on the disc that came with the misses something AIO in gas washing, which uses the uninstall & Uninstaller Uninstaller Uninstaller 3 2 1 program, contained in disk files under: UTIL > CCC.

eally frustrated by what seems to the problem caused by a recent update from Windows.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3. 256 GB hdd, 8 GB of RAM. WIN 10; Docking station; 4 TB WD My Cloud mirror SAR for the storage file. HP LaserJet Pro M201 and HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 AIO. HP Elite 8000 Slim, SFF, Core 2 Quad 2.83 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD, WIN10 (used mainly for broadcasting and as a PC Backup)

Problem solved by using the special "L4" uninstall program, which is integrated in the Wndows 7 driver file.

Then I reinstalled the full Windows 7 driver and all is well.

Thank you.

    OfficeJet 6480.

I took 20 minutes on the phone to find someone to get me to tell them what the problem is.

the first speaker gave me a ticket #8018531464

and passed me on the real tech support (I think).

Finally, I asked if I could please tell him what my problem.

He said yes and asked if f I have the black cord that comes with it.

I said 'yes' and he pulled the plug (1 line) on the 6480.

    He hung up on me!

hahaha, nope, the wwas cord connecting the cable-modem (TimeWarner) jack to the panasonic cordless phone.

in any case, I wasn't going to go through the introduction of 20 min. again, only to find out if he could answer the question.

    So here it is.

When I connect the black cable supplied with (for a single line I think) telephone jack of the cable modem (they provide my dgital phone, internet and Cable only ESA, no data dedicated line because I have to go through a flurry of faxes from time to time at home.)

then the decision-making ext 2 'lines' on the 6480, another cord goes to the single input based on the receiver of the wireless phone.

This is the problem, no tone came thru.

so, in this loop, I inserted the small adapter, single-jac + cord short. the output of the 6480.

and plugges regular there cord to the cradle of the wireless.

I had a tone. It seemed to work so far. So I went to bed, feeling successful, to continue to ensure that I had

However the next day it did not get a dial tone on the phone.

I tried different combinations and then abandoned once more imn frustration.

I tried to get this thing to work for a few months now.

I think that the signal gets to the 6480, because I run the test and all passses. There is no test for what I am referrring to and none combined on the 6480.

I went into the details for several reasons,

I can omit something: oh, Yes, the router is a lynksys router.

There is a nearby office using the wireless router and a laptop computer in the other room.

plus, you get a little history, to learn something on me, as you go through the same routine that I do with technical support. HP is not the only culprit of this approach non-customer ceneterd. But even that does not make this right.

I suggest, if some listen to those interested. This customer centered woould be to first know of me what is my problem, while you may, or may not, to solve. Then, you can collect the serial number, etc..

Here is the document on the implementation for different kinds of digital lines (think VOIP is not listed) that could work however, the fax modules used in probably all HP AIO are for analogue telephone lines only (the kind of Ma Bell telephone lines that have nothing to do with computers).  So, you could be just out of luck unless you want to pay for another standard analog line in your home for the fax.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but makes no sense you need to beat your head in frustration on something that is not likely to ever work.  Oh and another thing - make absolutely sure that the telephone line is connected to the fax to send/receive is the one supplied with the printer, they are not your average phone cords that come with phones or you can pick up at the local super store.

  • J 6480 / Vista Home Premium, HP DV 6928: creation of a unique facility

J 6480 / Vista Home Premium, HP DV 6928, also HP LJ 1020 for printing in b/w normal, which is hard wired for laptop:

    Finally implemented my 6480 J.

Read about some installation issues and a few thoughts on the wire «Wireless and network print transcript to meet the Experts»

    My setup for Internet is:

I have Roadrunner Internet from Time Warner cable service (10 MB load speed), but prefer to have it hard plugged into my computer (unless it is convinced of the contrary) because it will be theoretically faster Internet than the T-Mobile Router (secure WPA).

I do not download movies but watch some TV shows via HULU and Fox.Com, etc..

    Notebook is Wireless 'G '.

My wireless router is T-Mobile (D Link) and I turned it off, disconnected, at the present time.  Works very well, but I opted for the apparent faster cable connection.

You want to use the printer J 6480 wireless to save cables and improve features J 6480 can be placed far enough away from the laptop, but not more than 25 feet.

I do a lot of scanning, mainly with the 6480 J. Infrequent fax and occasional color printing.

This configuration will be possible?, ad-hoc wireless, or it will be better if I connect wireless via the T Mobile router, or go to the hard wired base approach?

Security may not be a problem or should I be concerned?   I live in an apartment building and other people use WiFi, all secure.

I understand that the 6480 J can be Ad Hoc wireless connected to my laptop and seeks to find the advantages / disadvantages of this type of set up if no.

Your views will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Jim,

Great idea to customize and securitize the Internet connection.  Use my link of D T Mobile for more security, I decided to go wireless, and so to have all greater security. It seems that no measurable loss of connection speed.

I will try to implement the AIO as a Wi - Fi connection and hope that I am able to follow the online and other instructions.  My experience has been that it's usually me who Soundtracks, and Yes, sometimes the instructions to leave out some relevant step.

I usually ask very detailed instructions and thanks for clarifying how to get IP address.

The new AIO Pavilion came back with Windows 10 months and I used facial recognition to open a session.  All fine until 1 week ago, when the home screen says now "preparing...". "and"can't turn to the camera. Use the PIn to connect.

If I go into RealSense, the camera works very well.  Windows settings for the camera are all lit, so nothing seems to have changed.

What is a recent update of Windows 10 which changed the signal to the camera?  If so, how I restire it?

    Hi there @DavidG6,

That the Forums are with you!  I understand that your web camera does not work properly for connection purposes.  I'm happy to help you with this.

Assuming that it could be a recent update of Windows 10 which is the culprit, you can try using a computers HP - use Microsoft System Restore (Windows, 10, 8) to return to the level of before the problem appeared and see if it works now.  If so, then it is likely a change in software to your system.  Once you have determined that, then you can check: How to prevent Windows 10 to automatically download updated -howtogeek.com, prevent this set of updates.

  • Pavilion 22-H010EL: need to replace the cable SATA in my AIO, can't find the right

Hi all, I have a problem with my 22-H010EL AIO HP Pavilion TouchSmart.

The hard drive broke twice while PC was covered by the warranty; now the warranty period is over, and the hard drive broke again. I guess that there is a power supply problem, in fact I see the hard drive has boots more than I actually received; Sometimes I hear a sound of boot clearly while the PC is on (and I'm sure that's not because of the stand by, because it happens while I use it). Also, just after the first replacement of hard disk, it showed 7 boots upward in an hour; I guess the power/SATA cable is damaged, the origin of the problem described, but it could be the motherboard, too.
I would like to replace the cable to see if it works, I really hope he does it; Thanks in advance for any response.

  • Wireless using Photosmart 7280 AIO and Photosmart 3210 AIO USB - installation problem

I use Windows XP sp2. The 7280 is new, so I was told HP support completely uninstall all my computer HP software, then install more software 7280, then use the menu option 'Add device' on the installation software of 7280 again to install the 3210. I have installed suceesfully 7280 software and am able to access the 7280 on my wireless LAN. However, when I use the installation of 'Add device' in the installation software, I get the dialog box 'Connect Your Device Now' (following the instructions for the installation of the USB) and when I connect the USB to my 3210 to the computer, I get the Windows Wizard 'addition of material", which is unable to locate the drivers for the 3210. The button 'Next' in the 'Connect Your Device Now' dialog box is not enabled, so I can't continue. It seems strange to me that Windows identifies the device but the HP software does not see. The 3210 is not in my list of printers in Windows.

Even more strangely, yesterday I ran the base driver and utility download for the 3210 off the coast of the HP site after installing the 7280 software (probably shouldn't have done) and everything worked, I was able to print on both devices, however this morning when I turned on the computer I got a HP dialog box telling me that the installation failed and it can uninstall some software including all drivers 3210.

Any suggestions? What I have to spend 2 + hours to uninstall and reinstall from the beginning again?

Well, I think that I solved, at least as well as is possible. I just uninstalled, installed all the 3210 drivers downloaded from HP, then install the software suite full 7280. Both printers are available and print jobs, but the HP Solution Center software only allows me to access the AIO 7280, so I guess I won't be able to scan from my 3210 on my computer - I have to use the 7280 for this. I didn't install the software suite full of the 3210 - maybe that would give me two centers solutions HP (two different versions), one for the 3210 and one for the 7280...

Incidentally, I don't have the CD 3210 - I think I have lost - so I'm dependent on the HP download page.

  • HP photosmart AIO 7525; noisy and too long to print

    HP photosmart AIO 7525

connected to a HP windows 7 64 bit

It is my printer 2nd in 2 months (same model # from the same store).

First, I went back to scratches and that I could not solve the problems of alignment.

This, it is extremely noisy; It takes a minimum of 50 seconds to even begin printing, looks a keurig coffeemaker, and it continues to operate after the print job. Looks like it's lining up or clean the printhead everytime

Initially, it would not connect to web services; but after 2 hours, I got it to work.
In printing a page of a web page, the only thing that printed was clearly the company to the top, the page number, address date and files below. All him rest isn't clear (like the rest) and the characters are shredded and not aligned.

Any help on these questions or I am going back this one too?

    Thank you

    No, it does not.

the update does not apply to my system

    Win 7 64 bit

I think I can just return it too

    Hello ScooterSim

I understand what you mean. Try to change the resolution to 300 dpi or lower, some printers are unable to analyze multi-page documents to over 300 and it is then hidden.
