• Sony STRDN1030 receiver, connected to the TV using the video components. But no Menu appearing

  Just got the new Sony STRDN 1030 and hung to the audio and video. Connected TV using component, because it is an option only with my Panasonic Plasma. But I am unable to get any video same menu to display on the TV. Help, please.

  Hi asingh98,

  You can display the GUI (Graphical User Interface) or to A menu screen / audio receiver on the TV not screen with an HDMI connection. Cannot display the GUI Menu if the receiver is connected to the TV using component cables.

  However, if there is no video signal at all from the receiver to the TV, then there may be a problem with the resolution of video output selected in the receiver. Select the appropriate video resolution and check if that helps.

  Ensure that you have selected the correct entry in the TV and the receiver.

  Connect devices to the receiver and check if the same problem occurs with other video cameras too.

  If the problem is not resolved, try using a different cable to connect the receiver to the TV. You can see the Sony connection guide for the instructions to set up the appropriate cable connection.

• I need iOS with airplay and without mirror 10

  Hello. The new control centre has two parts. Slide up, then to the left to access the right pane where you will see the devices available for AirPlay base already mentioned.

  Bottom line on the front: My AirPort Express (N) (former model with a single ethernet port) is not listed as an AirPlay device to my iMac (2011) and MacBook Pro (2011).

  QUESTION:

  The EPA is connected to a stereo system in the same room, but away from my iMac.  I'm trying to use the EPAS to play my iTunes from my iMac to the stereo library.  When I click on the AirPlay icon in the menu, I see the ATV listed, but not the MONKEY.  If I use AirPlay on my drives to iOS, I noticed that everything (EPA and ATV).

  BACKGROUND:

  The iMac (as well as all my other Macs) are running El Capitan.  I have FiOS and my iMac is wired (ethernet) to my router from verizon, as is the Time Capsule, which transmits the WiFi to all my devices (all of my devices are newer running iOS 9.3.1) and my MacBook Pro.  I have also two AppleTV connected to the network.  My iMac and MacBook Pro (and iOS devices) see the AppleTV and can AirPlay for them, but only the iOS devices see the AirPort Express Terminal.

  RESOLUTION OF THE PROBLEMS SO FAR:

  My utility AP sees the MONKEY (and the TC) and I can handle it without problems (name change, settings, etc.).  My iPhone has no problem to see and using the EPA.  I troubleshoot-made the MONKEY by connecting to my network via ethernet (failed difficulty). reset of the MONKEY (failure of difficulty), turned on my iMac (no resolution) wifi, restarted the network and wifi (impossible difficulty), restarted my iMac and Mbps (failure of difficulty).

  What can I do else?  Thanks in advance.

  I understand in your current network setup you have the cable to the Capsule Time (TC) to the router provided by Verizon. I assume you have the AirPort Express configured to use a wireless connection to the wireless network provided by the TC.

  • What is the brand and model of the router provided by Verizon?
  • Is - this wireless router and it provides a network of Wi - Fi with the TC?
  • The TC and the Verizon router, both configured for a network of itinerant type?
  • The Express is configured to join or extend a wireless network?
  • Are the TC & Express configured as bridges?

• New mid 2014 13 "MBR and Sony camera

  Setting up a new one for me MBP mid-2014, OS 10.11.1 and having problem with it recognizing my camera Sony A7R2.  I installed the PhaseOne Capture One 9 newly released software, I have used for many years to shoot captive.  The software does not show an attached camera, so I immediately thought that it a problem with Capture software. has decided to check with Sony remote camera app before submitting the ticket for the Phase.  Idem, Sony app does not detect an attached camera, so at this point, I think that it is a problem of Mac OS.

  Straps of the camera even perfectly on my 15 "MBP, OS 10.10.5, with the previous version of Capture One and same Sony RCC.

  Any suggestions on next steps?

  According to the PhaseOne Sony camera compatibility page, your A7R II requires software 'PRO '.

  (Select Sony in the bar of choice for the camera...)

  I have a Sony DSC T10 and a HP Envy I7 TS with Windows 8.1 and the camera is not recognized when plugged into a USB port.  Device Manager does not recognize the device.  Installing the updated Sony software and it does not find the device.  Any ideas, please.

  When a device is not recognized by the computer, it can be for several reasons. I've included the document "troubleshooting USB (Windows 8) connections." Please select the option for USB device not detected by Windows (no name of device in the Device Manager)and follow the General troubleshooting steps.

  Please let me know the result of the resolution of problems and if you are able to correctly, connect your camera after troubleshooting.

  I'm sorry to hear that. Then your webcam would not be supported in Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, hopefully Sony will at some point put out a driver for it. For now, you can try Virtual PC. It is free to download and you can run a different version of Windows Vista inside and use your webcam from there. For more information on Virtual PC 2007 pull on the link below:

• Windows 7, with Asus USB-BT-211 and Sony DR-BT50

  I am running Windows 7 64-bit now and installed the dongle Bluetooth USB - BT211 ASUS in my computer to be able to use my Sony DR-BT50 headphones. Mouse and keyboard bluetooth connect perfectly. The headset is detected and found, but when open the headset and press the button to connect, nothing happens.

  The headset will Flash blue as it is connected, but the computer does not see the headset as an audio device.

  I had this same headset works with the old ASUS USB-BT21, I don't know why it doesn't work with the new dongle.

   

  I converted the Broadcomm Bluetooth driver for Atheros Asus 2.1 driver and volia music came in the helmet.

  Interestingly thing, I did not auto connect in stereo option more. I may need to dig a little deeper but thanks for the suggestions. Never realized bluetooth was such a PITA.

  An update my post, I just went ahead and buy the headphones SBH52 and they work very well with the BB10, including all music controls LED display showing the track is on the air and the phone number in dialling mode.

  According to me, one of my biggest problem is that I don't really know the exact term and configuration that will multicast...

  This is a small network, I have a basis of 3750 X - ip switch 15.2 (1) E, that is my 'core' so to speak, a few vlans with IP and routing (static) active.

  I have a WLC 2504, version 7.4.100.0

  with a couple of 1602 and one 2602 a/c.

  The WLC is linked to a trunk, my management interface port to vlan 40, my two SSID is both on the vlan 7.

  Everything works fine, except the airtime (which I think is something Hello).

  If I used a standalone / P of all other brands, it works very well, being a pretty layer 2 bridge, I guess - but if I connect to a hosted WLC SSID, things don't work well.

  You have certainly not routers multicast to operate a system of L2 with the multicast.

  1 enable multicast on the WLC (Controller-> activate multicast worldwide and you can enable IGMP snooping).

  2. activate the multicast group for the APs (Controller-> General-> AP-> 239.1.1.1 multicast group or something of the same address). It comes to have APs with multicast clients join a multicast group and unload the base a little network.

  That should do it.

  If they don't try any multicast traffic generator (http://sourceforge.net/projects/mc-mint/) between a source and a destination.
