• Since Fx32, show Cookies always reveals no. stored COOKIES. Where are they? I have 'accept cookies from visited' with a large list of exceptions of blocked sites.

  I have "Always deprived of the use of navigation" and "Accept the Cookies from Sites" with "Third Party Cookies: to visit ' but with a long list of site Exceptions, I intend to block." Since Fx32, DISPLAY COOKIES still says there is nothing to show. I understand the incognito automatically deletes history (including cookies) on Fx is closed, but after some extensive navigation, I expect to see some session cookies only from sites that is: a) are listed ALLOW/SESSION on my Exceptions list; or (b) are not exceptions listed at all. The list of exceptions has two categories: Ad Server sites I block to avoid hearing; and ALLOW the sites I visit have warn me to allow their cookies. Even after the connection to these sites (connection requires their cookie) DISPLAY COOKIES always says that there is not.

  1 I'm wrong about PRIVATE BROWSING, it does not control the placement of the cookie, which leaves to ACCEPT the COOKIES and the parameters of the Exception, but erases them cookies and another story when Fx closes?

  I don't have the same problem if you are using Opera as a browser, however, I am aware that ISPS have blocked some sites in the United Kingdom due to a decision of the Court and wonder if it is the cause. The message only started to appear since I read about this decision. Is there a list somewhere that shows which sites are legally blocked in the United Kingdom? I can then excluded of this in or out as the cause.

  Have used Firefox for years. There is a healthy list of sites blocked (with exceptions for cookies).
  Confidentiality: always use the private browsing mode - checked
  Accept cookies - ticked
  Always accept third-party cookies-
  Exceptions - shows as empty (no sites listed)
  Cookies (only Google, coz I use it - I always empty after session).

  Issue reason: wanted to verify that I did not have a site blocked, as this site repeatedly expires - I can't respond quickly enough the ALLOW button when I get the message "Firefox has prevented...". ».

  The current versions of Firefox do not show Cookies in the Cookie Manager when you are in (permanent) private browsing mode.
  
  In private browsing mode, all cookies are session cookies that expire at the end of the session (all PB mode windows closed) or when you exit Firefox.

  In case you use "clear history of Firefox closing:

  • do not delete Site preferences
  • Tools > Options > privacy > Firefox will be: "Use the custom settings for history": [X] 'Clear history of Firefox closing' > settings

  I use Microsoft Security Essentials on Windows Vista... Since the installation of the program security... my Web site creator cannot access my Web site because the security program locks... How to allow access?

  My guess is that Security Essentials saw this as a threat and it blocked it.

  Open the Security Essentials program. You will see three sections of files and processes excluded. Check each one to see if your program is listed. Highlight and select Delete.

  One possible way to solve this problem is to refresh the web filtering settings for your child by turning and then by following the steps below:

  1. connect to https://fss.live.com using your Parent account.
  2. click under the user name of your child.
  3. request for Web filtering, check the Disable web content filtering , and then Save.
  4 tick to enable web filtering you can adjust the slider to different settings.
  5. Save.

  After that, refresh the client of parental control to update changes made via the Family Safety website. To update the client, click the icon with the arrow on the upper right.

  You will need to install Windows Live parental controls if you want to restrict specific loading web pages. Please try the following if you want to restrict a web page to a specific user account

  I've seen a few posts on .htaccess not working not not on BusinessCatalyst because it only works on Apache servers and BC is on .NET apparently (?). My client needs to block a dozen of bots (semalt, buttons for Web sites, best SEO, etc.) and while I can find a way to block the IPs reports of the site through BC, I don't think I can isolate IPs for each of these sites of delinquency. Then what should I do? I saw something maybe, it can be done in Google Analytics... but it actually block the visit or simply remove from being counted by the traffic report? I want to keep my protected site but I want British Colombia has my hands tied to this.

  Start the computer in Mode safe mode with network support Windows (on the startup screen, press F8) to see if that helps.
