  • Restore default alarm / problem with 2 of them

    Hello everyone!

I create a script to restore vCenter alarm on the default state.

In fact, it's almost over because it works for 35 of them,

but I am having problems with 2 of them who do not want to create.

you can find the current version of my script here: http://ghostus.free.fr/Projet/PowerCLI/default-alarm.ps1

(I commented the alarm two that do not work, then the rest of the code works)

the part of the code that do not work is:

    Use of #Datastore to disk

New 'or' 'Use of data to drive store' 'default alarm to monitor the datastore disk usage"

    7500 0 8500 metexpr 0 "Datastore" 147

    $global: alarmMgr.CreateAlarm ($entity. MoRef, $global: alarm)

    and:

#Host State of connection and power supply

New 'and' 'connection host and power status' "default alarm to monitor connection status and power.

    statexpr «isEqual"«notResponding" «runtime.connectionState"«HostSystem ' «»

    statexpr «isUnequal"«standBy" «runtime.powerState"«HostSystem ' «»

    $global: alarmMgr.CreateAlarm ($entity. MoRef, $global: alarm)

but as it is the function of myself I'm not someone to see any error in there, except

However, I wonder if some of you guys still managed create specially one of these 2 alarm using a script?

And if yes, can you tell me, what type of event counter/expression/etc... have you used?

Any thoughts on that would be appreciated = D

I think I found the problem.

It's in the way that the system will wait for the red and yellow conditions to be specified.

If you don't want to test a specific condition, you must leave it as he got out of the constructor.

If you change your statexpr like that function, it works.

    function statexpr([string]$operator,[string]$red,[string]$path,[string]$type,[string]$yellow){
    #Ajout d'un moniteur(expression) d'état(state) à une alarme
         $global:expr = New-Object VMware.Vim.StateAlarmExpression
         $global:expr.Operator = $operator
         if($red -ne ""){
              $global:expr.Red = $red
         }
         $global:expr.StatePath = $path
         $global:expr.Type = $type
         if($yellow -ne ""){
              $global:expr.Yellow = $yellow
         }
         $global:alarm.expression.expression += $global:expr
    }

  • Task Scheduler alarm problems

I would like to use the Task Scheduler to open and play pandora.com as an alarm clock. I can get the open Web site by adding an argument, but I don't know how to turn the play button. Can someone help me?

    Hello

You can create a task to launch Internet explorer. However, if you want to listen to the radio on Internet Explorer, you can save the shortcut of the website link so that you can call the shortcut in the Task Scheduler.

It is possible to stop the task after a certain period of time.

To create a new task, you can follow the steps of data:

    1. click Start, Type Task Scheduler in the search box and press enter.

    2. in the pane on the extreme right of the Task Scheduler, click oncreate a new task.

    3. on the general tab, type a name for the task and select the appropriate security settings.

    4. on the Triggers tab, you can schedule the task will run at what time, and when she needs to stop.

    5. on the Action tab, choose the program you want to start, for example Internet Explorer, media center, or Windows media player.

    6. Select parameters and Conditions properly.

While creating a task in Task Scheduler if mention us the media player or play list, Task Scheduler only opens the media player application and someone will have to press the play button. However if we create a task for an audio or video file, it will open media player and start playing by default.

Hope the information will help. Please post back and we do know.

  • HOW DO DISABLE YOU MS GS WAVETABLE SYNTH IN WINDOWS XP PRO

It seems that nobody in the web universe knows the answer to this question, but if someone DOES not know how to disable MS GS Wavetable Synth in Windows XP (NOT 7 or Vista), please do not hesitate to share.  Problem is that you cannot use ASIO4ALL while MS GS Wavetable Synth is activated or the rest of the default value.  You cannot change or disable clicking on through the sound icon on the screen, or through Control Panel of configuration/sounds, or by turning off the speakers in the BIOS.  I read a suggestion that a new sound card may be the answer, but I seriously doubt that could solve the problem, because the way the problem is inherent and exclusive to no hardware and Microsoft's software.   Someone at - it the answer?

Uh, you're confused here. The GS Wavetable is a terrible software with an alarming problem of latency to read Midi, audio files not. It belongs to all windows, no only XP so you can't get rid of it. You simply do not use it as a default device, but only if you have other software installed Midi playback.

Asio4All is a 'wrapper' that emulates the concept of Asio for audio files and is NOT used for playback of Midi files.

As you do not specify which audio device or software (to play your Midi files) that you use, it's difficult to go further.

However, if you buy a Sound Blaster, for example, it comes with its own Midi drivers that once installed can be selected as default instead of GS Wavetable Midi device (and you will get the best latency as well!)

If you buy one map for use with a DAW professional sound, then it will also have its own midi drivers and also the DAW will have its own soft synths to play Midi files.

Soon, if you need any other Cree just Info!

  • iOS 9.3.2 problem with alarms (Bug?)

    Hello community members

I m new here and must start with a problem that occure on my iPhone since iOS 9.3.2.

Alex I´m, 17 and I come from Germany. I apologize for any errors I could do

If the problem is that since the iOS 9.3.2 my sensors in the clock app no longer works.

When I set up an alarm, the iPhone automatically disable when I quit the app.

This problem I've had since my iPhone 6. Then I bought for me the iPhone 6s and boot from a backup of the iPhone 6.

Nothing helps me. I often reset the iPhone and turn it on but nothing really works.

 Care cannot help me too. Is that a person having the same problem?

I don't really know what I can do to solve it. Now I use the watch for messages, but I want my iPhone to wake me up

I hope someone can help me.

    Best regards

    Alex

    Hi AlexRis,

Thanks for checking out the Apple Support and communities for details on what is happening with your alarms. I understand that you are experiencing problems with your alarms do not stay on your iPhone. I use a alarm every morning on my iPhone and my Apple Watch so I can understand how it is important to make sure that it works.

I just want to be safe, make sure you follow the steps in the user guide to set up an alarm.

    Alarms and timers - iPhone

Since you already mentioned reboot, the next step that I recommend is to reset all the settings on your iPhone. This does not erase any of your data (like photos, applications, or contacts), but you need to set some default settings save as wallpaper, ringtones, sounds system, restrictions, Touch ID & password and iMessage. You'll also need to reconnect to your Wi - Fi networks then make sure that you have your Wi - Fi in the information available. To reset the settings of your iPhone, go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings. The iPhone will reboot, then you can test.

If it is not the thing to reset all settings, the next step would be to backup your iPhone and restore it via iTunes. Once restore you, you'll want to set up as a new device (temporarily) and test without your backup data. If it works, you can restore your backup and test again. You will find articles that will help you with the steps below.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod settings - Apple Support

  • Alarm volume problem

I have a problem... I set my alarm Sunday for the entire week, but too often I don't wake up. Why? Because my alarm was too quiet. So, let's see. First of all, I set my alarm. Then I put the volume on the phone to the max position. And I fall asleep. No, it won't wake up. Because I have to do a thing. I have to turn on my * music *, do * music * volume to the maximum, then my * volume alarm * will be fine and he's going to wake me up. So, I'm a programmer and my life - to solve problems, but in my opinion, it's too hard for ordinary people. I hope that Apple will see my message and correct it, or is the best solution.

  • My battery percentage is not accurate, I will let it charge all night, I wake up and it's on 80 so so I cut my phone to make it precise. Also my alarm clocks do not go to sea, and it's starting to be a problem.

I need a solution to my battery unaccurate percentage and help with my alarm clocks that they leave mounting

    Hi there alara11,

It seems that your phone battery does not charge, and your alarms do not seem to jump when you value. We should be able to solve that with troubleshooting software, so I would like to start by leaving the clock app and the settings:

Force an app to close the iOS
    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201330

    1. press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used.
    2. slide to the left to find the application you want to close.
    3. push upward on the overview of the application to close.

When you did this force restart the unit with the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons as described in the following article and test questions again:

iOS: switch off and on (restart) and reset
    http://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201559

I don't think that, but if the problem persists, save your device in iTunes, then restore it like new and verify that it works.

How to clear your iOS device and then set up as a new device or restore from backups
    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204686

If this is the case, restore your backup either check it still works and just reinstalled software or circumvent the problem in the backup file itself. Thank you for using communities of Apple Support, let us know how it goes!

I am facing a problem with the beep.vi.  I have a DAQ program, which acquired the signal and compare it to a threshold value. When a signal is out of range, a Visual and sound alarm has occurred. I use the VI beep.vi to generate the sound. Everything works fine except the sound alarm. It gives the table 1 d of type mismatch. I tried to fix this by placing it in a box structure. • Problems with fractional alarm levels

    Hello

We use LV8.6 with module DSC under XP Pro.

I am building an application that needs to configure/monitor alarms on deployed locally variable shared double digital.

I don't seem to be able to define levels of fractional alarm through in Distributed System Manager or Project Explorer. For example, I'm trying to set the alarm HI_HI to 1.50 level. What I see, is that the values change when I get it, but it gets rounded up to the nearest whole number if I open properties for this variable shared once more (or property node allows you to read).

If I use the node property to set the levels I am able to get fractional values. There is a problem with automatic receipt of the alarm in this case, although (the alarm do not auto-reconnu when the value of the variable returned to non-alarme interval).

I would appreciate comments on the issues that I am experiencing.

    Thank you in advance!

Far below the level of the alarm you have tried going?  In LabVIEW 2009 at least, there is a dead zone which can be defined for each alarm.  By default, the dead zone is 1, which means that you must pass at least one point below the alarm so that it auto-reconnaître.  Herea good help file that explains exactly how it works.  In short, if you want to auto-reconnaître when the value is less exactly the alarm level, then you have a dead zone of 0.  I hope this helps.

  • E280/radio-alarm clock/dock problem FIXED!

(Not that anyone else in the world probably will never have that problem... ;->)

But in case someone ever does it, here is the solution.

    ************************

    Reminder of the problem:

Sansa and Timex clock radio play together well

    http://forums.SanDisk.com/Sansa/board/message?board.ID=E200&thread.ID=29319&view=by_date_ascending&page=1

OK, I officially * had * it! (e280, clock radio and now dock)

    http://forums.SanDisk.com/Sansa/board/message?board.ID=E200&message.ID=30169#M30169

    ******************

After communication with Sandisk (they * will keep talking about you, I'll give you em that...!), received suggestiion put in MTP mode and rename the folder 'Rhapsody' folder 'Services', if such were present.  Computer would only remove, so I again asked if the deletion was OK and if having a folder 'Rhapsody', it turns the e280 thought I had or used to have a Rhapsody subscription.  Positive on these two points, so I deleted the folder.  Problem solved.  Fix five minutes, including waiting for the computer to start...

Follows my email to Sandisk.  (It's * my * e-mail, so I figure that I can copy it anywhere I want and he said what I have to say about the problem... ;->))

    *****************

'Rhapsody' folder deleted. Unit works now fine with Sansa docking station and radio alarm clock.

Wish that someone had told me about this simple correction much earlier. (Like $500 earlier!) My husband and I love all the e280s and the docks and wake-scattered, in fact, and I guess we'll get our money out of them before die us, but what I originally wanted was to get the first e280 to work with radio-alarm clock, as it did before the problem started.

I * could * have waited until the initial problem has been fixed (possibly) instead of going on a buying frenzy, but I was afraid that if one) I waited and b) the problem has never been resolved, I would not be able to get another e280/clock radio, since the e200 series had been replaced by a new range of products.

    Suggestions for Sandisk:

Format should mean FORMAT! I don't know if I find more amazing than the left repeated formats this Rhapsody folder in place or that it took so much communication with you all luck to someone who knew that. It's not as if I did not mention Rhapsody first - due to my chance to see only fleeting message when the problem started, it was the * first * possibility I mentioned, I think.

It's also a problem the Amazon, DRM-free tracks somehow did it think that I had an expired subscription to Rhapsody, when I've never been and won't be anywhere * near * Rhapsody! (Especially after this experience!)

It would be nice if everything was at least * visible * in MSC mode - I didn't on this issue because it does not appear in the mode I use! If I * saw * it in MSC mode, I tried the suggested fix original (rename) on mine!

It would also be nice if your future mp3 players were more like the e200 series. I'm not terribly unhappy to have a bunch of e280s (well good, except for the money...), because I think they make your current line look sick.

    IMHO, FWIW... ;->

And thanks to at least talk to me until the issue is resolved (if any) - I'll say that for Sandisk!

You answer to me so that I can mark this FIXED!

  • Slatebook x 2-problem of battery alarm and shutdown

Hello, I have Slatebook new x 2 and I have a problem. When the battery becomes low, then I receive an alert and it stops immediately. In fact, it stops and I see the alarm behind the closing down of the dialog window, while it stops. There is no chance to save the work or anything. It is very annoying. It behaves no matter if the dock is connected or not.

I also use the Android phone. There are two battery alarms, low and critical battery level. None of these alarms will automatically stop. There is still time to use the device for a period of time, for example to make several calls or record the work after the critical alarm.

What is the problem with the unit? Is it possible to configure alerts and actions?

    My problem is finally solved!

The initial communication with HP was really bad. As Sparkles1 discovered, HP is responsible for all of the product. Also, I found no one else having this problem while it was more probably on my unit that the general problem of hardware or software.

My second attempt to handle this with the support of HP was good. Although they were asked to do measures that have already been made. At the end, me to solve this problem by contacting HP support directly or through close HP authorized service partner available. I contacted directly taken in charge of HP. A Messenger came to the tablet. After several days (pretty fast), mail is returned with the repaired unit. The unit is the same. They replaced a called party of hinge LCD. I tested the behavior of the system twice and he performed well.

  • Problem in the choice of music for the alarm after update of Marshmallow

Hi all, I am a French and I don't speak English well. I come here to have a solution for my problem.

This week, I bought Xperia Z5 because my Xperia Z2 screen was broken. With the change of phone, I fall into the "Marshmallow" 6.0 update. I'm not here to criticize, but I am disappointed in something and want to know if there is a solution.

    I explain:

Every night, I change my song to wake up for the next day and I'm in the alarm interface. Here >

http://starshack.free.fr/images/screenepe.PNG (Son of alarm / alarm)

And before the update I could choose my music very simply with the interface of the Commander file here >

    http://starshack.free.fr/images/screenmum.PNG (Music/music) and I LOVE it.

But now, it's very complicated and I can't find my files by folders. There is no VISIBILITY. First of all, I have this: http://starshack.free.fr/images/screenbgb.png (need to go on the small +), after: http://starshack.free.fr/images/screendsd.png (Let's start with the first artist) after: http://starshack.free.fr/images/screenasa.png (this is my case, but I do not understand why it comes) and finally, I have to choose a http://starshack.free.fr/images/screenuwu.png music (and I can't change the folder). It is not practical and too long.

How can I leave my phone search for music with the old navigation?  A Marshmallow update be provided thereon (ability to customize also)?

I thank you in advance for an answer, Melvin.

@Melvindu85 So what you should try is the following: settings - applications, press the 3 points and reset the application preferences. This will produce no harm, you will only lose the default actions for applications, permissions that can be easily resolved.
