Thank you for your response back!

I added a few steps below that other forum users who have had the same problem.  Please let us know status.

Open a file, press ALT on your keyboard to open the menu, click on tools-> Folder Options
Click the display tab, make sure that you uncheck the "always show icons, never thumbnails" box.  Check also "file thumbnails display icon" is checked.  Of course to display thumbnails in the file, must be set to medium or more.

  • Windows 7 Media Player 12.0.7601: album art don't is not displayed even if the column is selected and album art is saved on the drive

I just loaded all my music from my Windows XP system on my Windows 7 system.  Each album has album art that appears in "now playing".  But when I opened an album in library view and list titles, album art is not displayed even if she is among the columns selected to be shown.  All other columns appear and disappear depending on whether I choose them, but the album art is not.

How to display album art?  Please don't tell me to switch to playback.  It is very unpleasant for me.  Even if the album art is displayed there, the space that is takes 2/3 of the screen to keep a small image of the cover of the album.  The list of receives securities only 1/3 remaining, so there is not enough space to display more than the name of the track, rating and length.  In addition, I don't want to see the sides, but they show that even though I have deselected this column.

  • Low quality when importing through Media Go album art

When the album art is added manually in Media Go, it is scaled to 640 x 640 and recompressed in a<150 kb="" image="" with="" 4:2.0="" chroma="">

The result seen on a smartphone with a screen high resolution range from disappointing to terrible. On the Xperia Z3 with the current application of the Walkman for example, album art is displayed on screen to 787 x 787. 640 x 640 would end up a bit soft but acceptable, but with the extreme comrpession it looks hideous.

During extraction of music FLAC or high flow MP3 or AAC, it is not essential to this work be compressed as much. When I prepare the album art I resize it to 787 x 787 and save it in the format JPEG with 4:4:4 chroma sampling, and depending on the complexity of the art and the setting of the quality, the result usually ends up range from 200 KB to 400 kB. This gives a perfectly acceptable quality to this resolution and is of a reasonable size in 2015.

I don't know why Media Go emphasizes the art of recompression in quality of phone service mid-' 00s era. But I would like the possibility to embed the original JPEG Media Go ' such what» Currently, I have to go through the music with Mp3tag to replace art. It works, but then I have to close Media Go to avoid conflicts of files.

Let the Media Go fetch worst Gracenote art still produce results.

Don't know why photos are put on the scale / compressed in a way but as you say, it's probably because of the size and compatibility for Media Go is used for many different devices. Currently I can only recommend that you use your current solution or use another software to rip your CD.

  • Album art size - Windows Media Player 12

Repost this, in the hope that someone (obviously not MS, who clearly couldn't care) has an idea how to solve this
I've seen dozens of discussions around the intarnetz on the issue of small album art in Windows Media Player 12, but does not find a definitive 'yes' or 'No' to the question of whether you can get something larger than the resized image pathetic 240 x 240 display when you play a track. Is this possible? If I play titles in Foobar or MediaMonkey (the two programs I hate, BTW) I can get album art to display 'properly' (i.e. the actual size of the image) but cannot find how do in WMP12
PS: Mods - do NOT mark this question as "answered" once some muppet of first line reads and publishes a 'response' nothing on it. Also, do not rename the question "how to get album art to display more than 240 x 240 - I don't want" more than 240 x 240' - I want it displays THE ACTUAL SIZE OF the WORK - just like WMP always used to do. ' " Thank you very much.

I found a solution for the problem of art version 32-bit windows 7 wmp12 album also (since prior to the given by me is true only for Windows 7 64 - bi wmp12).

    Here it is:

Make a backup before doing the prescribed steps as mess with registry can lead to a DEAD computer.

(For backup just click on COMPUTER in regedit.exe, and then file-> export-> 'file name' (may take a few minutes))

    1) go to the path in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences

    (2) then create a key with the name 'PlayerModeAlbumArtSelected' and set its value data to ' ' as '0' (without qoutes) (for the creation of new key, right click anywhere inside the window and select "new-> DWORD (32-bit) Value")

    (3) then find the key with the name 'ShowAlbumArt' and its 'value data' the value "1" (without qoutes)

The Windows Media Player 12 now shows the original AlbumArt who put you in the song.

    Enjoy!

  • In Windows Media Player 11, album art 'disappeared' the display of album content.

I've lost the ability to see a "covers" album when in the (what I call) 'track view information of content"(found by selecting library-> library-> music-> artist, then album).

  • 7 music library Windows does not display album art when I chose to organize by artist or album

    Hello
I don't see the album art when I chose to organize by ARTIST or Album, before I was able to do, but now I can't
Note : I can see the album art if I chose to organize a not an artist folder, how do I display album art when I chose to organize by the artist.
I removed the folder location and then add it again but no good result

Note : when I choose Arrange by the ARTIST, the album all covers grouped in a single folder called not specified .

    Thank you

If you have, or have had iTunes, that is the problem. It contains the album art. I uninstalled iTunes and then ran ccleaner, ccleaner.com to remove iTunes registers connections at work. As soon as I cleaned the registry the album covers are returned.

  • Windows Media Player does not display of MicroSD songs album art

Summer love the Surface Pro offer functions since I got the 9 February, but lately, I've been a few software/hardware problems here and there. One of these issues is with Windows 8 itself. Go to a 500 GB SSHD in my old laptop with a 128 GB SSD in the Surface Pro forced me to move no delicate libraries or all the files on a 64 GB MicroSD card; No delicate part of these things is my music/iTunes library.

After that, I then open Windows Media Player and noticed that it lacked all the artworks of my music organized itunes album in library view. Thinking it was just Windows Media Player still missing support for .m4a files (even if the file Explorer supports them clearly), I tried to add the album art, and it made no difference. Then it crossed my mind that maybe its Windows Media Player that does not support display cover from a disk full out of the primary. So I have moved the library to its default location, open Windows Media Player and it shows ALL of my music organized itunes album artwork.
Move back to the new MicroSD is back to square 1; Windows Media Player is not display Album art. All geek/hacker knows a fix for this? I am confident in the modification of ANY part of the file system on my computer, including the registry. Thanks in advance.

This looks like a problem of indexing. Windows just indexes not removable media by default particularly well. http://digitalmediaphile.com/index.php/2012/11/02/how-to-use-Windows-8-RT-apps-libraries-and-removable-media/ might help.

  • Album art disappears for songs from the same album.

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem with AirPlay on Apple TV (4th generation)

Album art perfectly fine poster to a playlist in which each subsequent song has a different album cover than the preceding.

If, however, I play 2 or more songs in succession from the same album (and with the same cover), the album cover displays the playback of the first track and then disappears to the other songs on this album. Album art does not appear again until a song on a new album (with different cover art) is selected.

If you want to report your experience to Apple, you can send them your feedback here, choose 'Report a problem' in the menu type of feedback.

  • How to add album art to imported CD on iTunes 12.3.3.17 NAS disk?

How add us album artwork on a CD imported into iTunes 12.3.3.17 on a drive connected to my Airport Extreme?

Get Info, Album artwork, shows in work, but once I click on "ok", nothing shows in my music library. Album art not available through «Get the cover»

    Help, please.

Your iTunes media stored on a network volume should not make a difference.  If you ask about the order to download album art, which does not always work.  The album should be in the database online, accessing Apple to work of albums sold in the iTunes store.

Otherwise, you can add your own album artwork.  For example, if the album cover appears somewhere on the Internet (like Amazon or another web site), you can often "drag out" the image of the Safari window on the desktop of your Mac (to download the image file).  In iTunes, select all of the songs from the album at once, right-click on the selection and information (to display the info of several element).  Go to tab work of the Info window.  Click Add artwork, OR drag the image file from the desktop to the Info window and drop it onto the square to the work area.

  • How to prevent synchronization of ipod touch album art

When I create playlists for my Ipod touch (4th generation), the Pocket attached to one of these songs in my itunes library is also transferred to the ipod.

When I attach my ipod to read in my BMW car, if the song has album artwork, which will appear on the display BMW car rather than the title of the song played, which contains that briefly at the beginning of the song. When a song is playing and has no album art, just the title of the song and the artist appears on the screen of the car, which is what I want all songs on the ipod.  I would like to remove all the ipod album art (not my itunes library) or to prevent the synchronization of the work in the first place. I just want to see the titles of songs, the titles of the album and artists on the screen of the car when I use my Ipod in the car.

Delete the work songs in iTunes, then sync to the iPod.

There is no setting to prevent the work of synchronization when the work is in iTunes.

  • Album art will not turn off

Selected to turn it off, but it always has. Any ideas? Thank you.

    MIRAX

Turn off album art affects the background only.  During music playback, if there isn't available, either as a jpg file added art, or if it is incorporated in the tag ID3 metadata, the art is displayed.

This function is used in the Fuze +, with its much larger screen.  On the rocket +, you can see a mosaic tiles from bottom of your individual pouches, or a simple background printing.

  • M240 removes IDv2 MP3 and album art.

Well, I have a question about my M240. More of a complaint and a WTF.

I had my m240 for... 6 months or more. I put my songs on my microSD card.

Well, my 32 GB card is to fill to the top, so I decided to put a little on the internal drive on the m240.

Now, I'm the * beep * type and I would like to have the album art and idv2 on all my MP3s. Who wouldn't?

So, I put the MP3 there. Restart it. The album art is now gone and IDv2 information went too.

Then, instead of see: Olivia Project

    Xanadu

    I see: Olivia Project

    26 - Olivia-Xanadu project

And enter the info for the song on the m240, it does not list a year or a number for the song.

So yes, it removes information IDv2 for the song and removes all the art of the album.

Now, my MP3s are not read-only.

But, why in the holy hell Sandisk would do something that would be to edit a file?

Material should not be able to modify the software.

What the hell is going on?

    1. The m200 series is an old technology. Almost pre-historic. You say you had this 6 months. Well, the player was dropped about 6 years ago.
    2. This is the Clip Zip forum Board. Your question really shouldn't be displayed here. The Council of all the other MP3 players would be much more appropriate.
    3. But same assignment in correct boars, it will be difficult to find anyone who even remembers this former player, let alone a lot of knowledge about it more. I know that there are 4 versions of hardware/firmware, which even if not quite confused, SanDisk does not list this model here in the Firmware thread on this forum.

Edit: Reply to change is in the (aptly named) Options in the upper right of the display.

  • Album art Itunes using the Sansa Fuze.

I add album art to several of my albums on Itunes. I then put the songs in a folder on my desktop (the music opens in Winamp) and then put them on my Sansa Fuze. However, the album art is not displayed. How can I solve this problem? Thank you!

Hands down. the best tool to check the metadata and album art is MP3Tag.  If the embedded art is not of joy, you have MP3Tag export a file as album art.jpg or folder.jpg, another name of file will work with the Sansa.

Mp3Tag is a free download, but you can make a donation to the author.  Should be supported, as well as the tool works!

    This is for you.

I finally gave it a try just now, so I could properly integrate album art, and the program really is up to the hype.
