• iOS 10 Photos - blank thumbnails in the album people

  Organize photos and videos

  Delete a picture or a video from an album. Tap the photo or video, then press . You can choose to delete the album or remove it from your iCloud photo library on all your devices.

  I spent several months to organize my 19000 photos with Photos, Apple, including all faces. On iOS 9 I couldn't see the album of faces, but I could search for faces. So my marking has worked for my iMac and sync both my iPad and iPhone.

Now, I have an album of "person", but as far as I can see, I have to start naming the faces from scratch on iPhone and iPad. I started with my wife on my iPad and found it identified as more than 50 people. So I had to merge these and then name them. And this is just my wife. Now, it seems that I have to repeat this step for all faces, and then do the same thing on my iPhone, as it appears that my work on the iPad won't not be synchronized. And when my iPhone more 7 arrives - will I have to start all over again?

  I hope I'm missing something important, because otherwise I'm having trouble believing that. I read that it has to do with issues of privacy, but that doesn't seem to be a problem with iOS 9. Even if it's a valid consideration, I think I should at least have the choice of sync or not.
