  Hi, I have an alienware M17x with windows 8.1 and qualcomm wireless killer. I have a serious problem with intermittent wifi, that appears when I use programs like Skype, steam, multiplayer games, etc.

  Even if the wifi is connected, the connection suddenly stops working sometimes, especially when I use the applications mentioned above. (if I try to load a Web page during this time, the page remains attached to "resolving host"). Strange thing is if I disconnect and reconnect to the wifi Internet starts working immediately. Or I can wait a few minutes and the connection is re-established automatically.   Just today I tried to launch AlienAutopsy test for my network card in Killer Wireless - N 1103 several times, and each time that the "transfer of data verification test" failed due to no connectivity (all other tests passed very well, only this one test failure all 6 times). I thought that it could be linked and gave me some hope that I might be able to target the cause of this unique problem. Therefore, I post here. If anyone can help me, it would be much appreciated!

• AE 2500 does not install on Alienware M17x with Win7 home Preimum 64 bit

  I got the AE 2500 after the a N750 Linksys dual-band wireless router.

  the router is soft, but to my surprise the internal Wireless NIC does not support 5 GHz networks.

  his embaracing to say that all the apple devices, including MAC, iphones and ipads 2 stand it... including my Galaxy s4 work.

  I own an alienware m17x running win7 64 bit home premuim.

  at bost performance I had the USB AE2500 adapter, when I plug in the Device Manager recognize as "Unknown device" and no matter what I do on the Web, nor what I download Linksys it used to recognize and install the adapter.

  When I thought that maybe the adapter is broken, I have a 4 year old with win7 lenovo machine that had no problem what so ever grateful and the installation of the adapter and conect to my 5 GHz Wireless.

  in a nut shell it annoyed me.

  If there is a solution out there, please, point me in the right direction

  I have an alienware m17x laptop and it has empty 2nd support. so I decided to get an SSD.

  My problem is that I need an adapter to connect the SSD for laptop and I can't find this adapter in any store.

  drive HARD original also use of this card and I tried to connect the new SSD in the 2nd slice with this adapter and it works (doesn't turn on laptop computer from disk HARD was not connected).

  So im guessing that I only need the adapter. only problem is that I can't find it anywhere. any idea where I can find it?

• R4 SERIOUS Alienware M17x adapter issues

  I had the typical Alienware M17x R4 "connected load does not," since I bought this laptop. I spent almost $3 k on this thing, and I've been through THREE Dell OEM 240 Watt adapters because of this problem. These things are expensive, like $100 a piece. Whenever I have buy a (I have more warranty) the problem goes away for about 2-3 months, then comes back. He arrived at the point where it's good now I write this on 70% battery, and I can't get it fixed.

  Usually, when I boot it says "the card is not taken in charge, blah blah blah, please press F2 for boot menu"

  And I usually get this screen:

  Usually I would disconnect and reconnect my adapter in all 20 times until he finally said a/c Adapter Type: [240W]

  but it is blocked to [Unknown] once again, and this time it isn't give.

  I tried all the recommended methods.

  1: I emptied the power to remove adapter, battery, and freezes for a minute, then plugging power back. I did about 6 times, and it always starts up an adapter not recognized.

  2: I tried to unplug and plug the adapter cord

  3: I tried to use different ankles

  4: I tried to reinstall the BIOS A12 several times, does not

  5: I tried uninstalling the driver for ACPI compliant battery check, still nothing

  6: I tried to run ePSA assessment of seed, which tells me that this:

  

  That my battery is charging to 255 Watts instead of 240 Watts.

  7: I tried to replace my battery and my card. Several times. 1 warranty, the rest of my pocket.

  8: I tried to let the computer stay off for a while, cool completely.

  9: I tried to update all my drivers.

  I am completely out of options, the only thing is to possibly replace my motherboard, which would be ridiculous that this is going to be long and costly. I'll probably just have to take my business elsewhere I got extremely poor support just because my warranty has expired. I won't pay $300 for another year of warranty, so that they can work on the setting of a defective product.

  I just want to know if you have any suggestions where to go from here? If it's fixable?

  If not, what other phones would you recommend that would not have this problem?

  I'm having a problem with an Alienware M17x r4. My daughter was in the middle of a PC game, and he is just off.   Unfortunately, so it is my daughter's cell phone if it was something funny in the days before, she said. I remember the fan if extremely hard, the other night (that was a first). The laptop is on, but she was not using it at the same time. She used again at night until it no longer works and said that happens again. I checked the fans to see if they were dirty and they weren't too bad. Them cleaned anyway, I'm not sure if it really solved the problem of fan until I can put it back on.

  This looks more like a case where the video card is dead.

  It is a common symptom in our computers. When the charger goes dim when you are connected to the computer, it's probably a problem with the video card.

  We have only on workstations as well.

• TimeCapsule loses network connection

  I have a TimeCapsule (new version of turn 2014) and I noticed that my backups are not being every hour. Utility app showed 'device not found' on the network.  I restarted the time capsule - it connects to the network successfully for about 3 minutes and then "Device Not Found".  I restarted my TimeWarner cable modem then restarted TC even question.  My wifi router is the TimeWarner modem and I have 60MB of speed that I'm guaranteed up to 50MB, so all right from the internet side.

  I did a soft reset... same question.  I did a hard reset and used the previous settings - same issue (3 minutes network, and then click device not found a few moments later).  I guess I can do a default network but since absolutely no changes to the network settings have work probably months (7 + months) I don't see why this would happen.  I don't want to lose my entire backup (s) risk is... I have no other way to save my December 2015 MBP.  * Funny, it is the TC network shows, if I hit him "save now" finds TC but TC for 3 minutes then turns off network; However, the backup actually occurs successfully. But will not back up again until I restart then the TC on the network these 2-3 minutes before losing the connection.  Help.
