all-in-one 19 connection

HP All in One 19 does not accept the password on login. I reset the computer twice. It keeps rejecting the password. Have also a telephone captioned (for hearing impaired) connected to the internet. Could be the problem? The phone works fine.

Hello @rendd,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

I understand that your HP All in One 19 desktop PC does not accept your password and you have reset it twice and still no go. I doubt that your phone would affect the ability of computers to connect unless it's the computer on the internet. I suggest that you unplug your phone, powercycle your router (unplug it wait 30 seconds plug it back) after that the router comes back to the top of powercycle your computer (restart). Check if you can connect, if you can plug in your phone and see if the problem occurs again.

If you sign in before you connected the phone and then couldn't I suggest that contact the company that provides the phone to find out why it is kick the computer on the network. If however, you were not able to connect after the powercycle I suggest that you review the document isunshare: 8.1 Windows password reset when you forgot It, that will guide you in how to reset your password correctly.

Please re-post if you need extra support. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • 4280 all-in-one printer connection problems

I can't hang a F4280 all-in-one printer at a Pavilion a1223w PC.  I always get a command prompt which does not recognize the USB connection.  Can anyone help?  Thank you!

No luck with that - I tried all USB ports and under tension on the cable, but still no connection.  The prompt says "Windows does not recognize USB" any other ideas?

    Thank you!

  • 4580 all-in One Printer connects to the router

I get the following message when you use the HP printer installation disk that came with my 4580 all-in-one...

The PC and the printer are connected to different networks.  They must be connected to the same network.  This can occur when you use the manufacturer's default network (SSID) name...

She claims that my IP address do not match to the top on the same network, etc...

Is it possible that I can change this manuelly?

    I have a Linksys WRT610n wireless network

I'm not able to share the printer on the network as my household uses laptops...

I saw this problem coming before in the forum, but have yet to see someone with a real solution. I spent 3 hours on the phone with HP tech and even with a remote office, he could not remedy the situation... it was several months ago and I tried to do, but I can't ignore it any longer.

I'm on a WPA encryption... and isn't that although emissions of routwer in 2 widths of band... they have different names... casa big and jones...

    BUT! problem solved...

Just by chance I have reset the printer wireless settings by default and re-established the connection settings using printing software provided

Under the software disc menu, click 'Add a device', NOT 'reconfigure the network "... HP has done a terrible job in the description of these menu items when you hover over them... most people gloss over and click without even noticing the nuance of the topics...

Anyway after doing this it worked... I think that the problem occurred before because that my printer kept a previous router settings and software HP could not reconfigure the IP address of printers...

    (1) Remove HP printer in the menu printer on your PC

    (2) connect your printer via the usb port

    (3) Insert the disk, then go to add DEVICE

    (4) follow the instuction to add a WIRELESS NETWORK

    (5) it should see the printer in the search...

    (6) the rest is self explanitory after all that...

    (7) add other computers using the disc after that because the IP address settings will be defined and all additional computers must do is to install the drivers and locate the printer on the network...

All that and HP Tech couldn't do that for me, in 3 hours on the phone over the interfacing of remote desktop. So please add this to your ideas of troubleshooting for any future reference. Nevertheless, I love my products HP, we have 3 laptops and of course the printer.

  • Windows RT and HP PSC 1510 all-in-One printer connection

Hi, I have a Windows 8.1 RT (Microsoft Surface 2) Tablet and HP PSC 1510 all-in-One printer cable. Now when I plug the printer via the USB port, there is no driver who finds himself to make this printer work with my camera. Does anyone have this problem or solutions? I tried to look at HP support and nothing there has been useful.

    Hello

I'm afraid that the printer is not supported on Windows RT, as you can find listed in the following support document:

  • HP J6480 All in One - Scan connection problem

Cannot connect the component analysis to my HP Envy - Windows 8.1. I have never been able to connect to this total scanning printer to work with my laptop either. The message: no Scan option - refer to device documentation to troubleshoot. The printer comes with separate instructions for printing, fax, but no information of scan.

    Hello Shananaruns,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you have a problem with scanning.

It seems to me that it would be possible that not all software has been installed.  One step, you can try is to run the HP print and Scan Doctor.

If this does not resolve the problem, I suggest when we uninstall the software and drivers, then resinstall by clicking on the following link for HP Officejet full feature and driver software.

If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, please click here: click here.

    Thank you for your time.

  • Help with driver? C6380 printer all-in-one cannot connect to laptop

I can't connect my laptop with my printer or wireless (who worked til 2 days ago) or by USB cable (which just tells me that there is an error if I try)

I tried to reinstall, and even if the printer (C6380) is certainly connected to my network (wireless) it will still not appear on any attempt to install with my laptop or my desktop.

Can someone tell me what to do to the RECF = Daniel this?

The disc that came with the printer now says he has what it takes (I'm on a newer operating system now) and the HP Reinstall Driver / utility etc. brings it either.

Do I need a new printer or is there a simple solution?

    Thank you in advance!

As I said, BT routers are very problematic.  If you want that this problem just go away, get another router and connect all your devices.

Beyond that, BT contact may be the next best step, sorry.

  • OfficeJet 6600 e-all-in-one: Wireless connectivity with the new router problem

We had the printer since 12 months, workin with no problems.

Just got a new modem/router (NETGEAR V7610) installed as part of the NBN implementation and I can't get the printer to connect to the new router. 5 and 2.4 G active networks. The two defined newtorks on security WPA2-PSK [AES].

The printer detects the wireless (2. 4 g) network, but can't coplete the connection. Tried the two direct input the network key and using WMA.

-The display panel shows "wireless invalid password (WPA) is entered.

-The results of network printer test page indicates a FAILURE on safety.

I was able to connect to multiple other devices (laptop, iphone, Kindle...) without any problem. Used the two direct entry of the key network and WMA.

    Anything else I can try?

Find a new update of the firmware for the printer (May 9, 2016).

After you apply the update, the printer is able to connect to the new modem.

  • cant WiFi connection HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-all-in-one printer to internet

I can't get WiFi HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-all-in-one printer connect to internet... at least I think that's the problem. I followed all the instructions on the HP print and Scan doctor as well as solve problems of failure to install HP. My router is working fine for everything else and I entered the router the static address for the printer.  It seems that my printer thinks it's connected to my WiFi (Ihave WPS it several times), but when I type there nothing appears in my IE IP address. My router does not see the printer either. I have the latest driver installed on my computer. I suspect that this may be a router problem: new Asus Double 450 Mbps N Router router (dual - band, but it appears my router uses the 2.4 Hz band to connect with WPS). Windows 7 64.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Hello NRHII,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you are unable to connect the Officejet 8600 via a wireless connection. I will do my best to help you! I would recommend power cycling the router, the printer and the computer:

    (1) turn off your printer
    (2) unplug the power cord at the back of the router
    (3) restart your computer
    (4) wait less than 60 seconds, reconnect the power cord to the router
    (5) turn the printer, wait for the computer to turn on

The wireless light blinking on your printer? If so, please reconnect the wireless on your printer using the Wireless Setup Wizard: (this information is declared here.)

    1. On the touch screen of the printer, press the right arrow key ( ) to display the second navigation screen.
    2. Tap the Installer icon ( ).
    3. Tap network , tap the wireless configuration wizard , and then press continue . The printer looking for available networks.
    4. Tap the name of your network and then press OK .
    5. If you are prompted, enter the password for the network, and then press OK . The printer connects to the network.
  • All-in-one HP Photosmart C6280 not connected to the internet, and can not scan to computer

My HP Photosmart C6280 all-in-one not connected to the internet, and can not scan to the computer.  I got it for a few years and must plugged into my Macbook to print, but now I want to use it to scan photos directly to my computer.  Can someone help me to do this?  Much appreciated!  (Not sure where are my original softward records!)

Oh, OK, well this isn't probably the problem, but for good measure, you should get the latest version of the software for your printer from the "support & drivers" link at the top of this page.

In the meantime, we will reset the printing system:

-Go to System Preferences > Print & Fax
-Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign more to add a printer. Top of the window, Select the default tab . Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  • Want 7640: Cannot send a scanned on Envy 7640 All In One document

Until a few days ago I could send documents scanned from my desire to 7640.  All of a sudden the printer will not send.  I tried several e-mail addresses.  I have run the wireless network Test and everything is OK.  All the 'connectivity settings' are very good.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer software.  I am able to send the scanned to my MacBookPro.  Anyone has any ideas how to fix?

    Hi @Dan-M.

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to scanning to send the question.

I understand that you have a HP ENVY 7640 e-all-in-one printer connected wireless to a Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and you used to be able to scan to E-mail, but now cannot. I would like to help with that.

I start to Reset the power on the printer and then reboot the router.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.
