All-in-one HP Officejet J5740 install failure on Windows 7.

The printer will work, but I can't get the installation CD because it is for Windows 2000/XP. My new Lenovo desktop computer is running Windows 7 Professional. However I have XP Mode installed with it. But when I go to install this program I get a message that says that my system requirements are not correct and install it on Windows XP. I know he is an all-in-one older, but it works very well. I hate to have to buy another just to get the scanner to work and get my programs from the HP Solution Center. I do not use for faxing more since I don't have the need.  I have read all the other posts and tried a few, but nothing helped.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Without a doubt you need driver for Windows 7 on your machine. Please go to this site, select the good OS (32-bit or 64-bit), click Next and download the driver for your printer.
