  We cannot tell which country you are, but in many countries these days, debit cards are not acceptable.   This also applies to the prepaid cards in stores.  You will need a card of credit supported by a bank in your country.

  To order the creative cloud with a credit card the United States, you must have an Adobe ID with United States in your country.

  The country store & the Adobe ID, payment details must be same.

  Not sure what happens if you remove the card and put in a similar SD card. I would like to test it so that you know what to expect.

  Check if the purchases you lost can be bought in Ireland.   If they can communicate with iTunes and ask for explanations.   If they can't, it's why you lost.
