  I was very happy with my HP Deskjet F4200 all-in-One printer/scanner.

  Suddenly today the scanner refuses to contribute.

  I get a report:

  ERROR

  Cannot perform the analysis because another program has control of the HP imaging device.  Try the following steps.  After each step, try to scan the image.
  -Restart the program.
  -Close all programs that might be using the device.
  -Restart the computer.

  As above, all of a sudden, on a single computer I can not download from the Canon 50 d or 70 D in LR 5.7.1.  It will download on another computer, as well as on this computer in an older version of LR (4.3).  As soon as I put on the computer this morning, I also got an error message that "the catalog named Lightroom ' catalogue Lightroom 5" cannot open another application already opened it. "It's a cold start, so I'm not sure what's going on.

  "Could not be read" means that you do not have a WRITE permission in the destination directory, then change your permissions.

  "Another application already has its opening" can be solved by removing the .lock file in the same folder as your catalog file.

  I see that you would like to know how to solve this problem and that you are able to print letters perfectly well. Looks like there could be a problem with mail merge. HP Support Forums helps solve printing problems, but HP does not support third-party applications. You are able to print, but a feature is giving you issues.

  The only thing I would say is that you try to create a new label to see if you can print that.

  Maybe there is a problem with SQL Developer, being able to write to the network share of desktop directory.  Add the following to your sqldeveloper.conf file to force the settings of the user to store locally also:

  AddVMOption - Dide.user.dir = some_local_dir_to_own_system4.0.3.16.84

• PSE * editor suddenly does not load

  I installed PSE8 two weeks ago and it worked fine until today.  Today I went to open it and he said that he could not open because it States aflamingo.dll and cg.dll are missing.  He suggested I have reinstall, I did the checking disabled virus.  I have the same exact error with the new installation notice.  I'm running Vista 32 bit SP2, 4 GB of RAM and a terrabyte of disk space.  It runs the organizer but not the editor no matter how I try to load it (as administrator, Windows XP or Windows Vista).  It worked fine until this morning. Help!

  I do not think that Aflamingo.dll and CG.dll are part of the standard of PSE installation - have - you installed third-party plug-ins?  However, make sure you have removed all plug-ins as described in step 8 of this technical note:

  Yesterday, I was on my computer as usual and was on a server VOIP talk to my friends. As I'm holding down my push-to-talk button all of a sudden, my computer restarts and every 1-2 seconds in the restart it restarts again.

  It does not have any bios loading screen and nothing.

  I opened and cleaned everything but I could not find any problem. Any idea? It is literally on autoEVERY 2 seconds... he just constantly made the sound of a computer restart like as thought I would be pressing the button like a maniac.

  If it helps, I think my computer was on during the night and the following day until 02:00 so so well over 30 hours.

  Any help asap would be crucial.

  So! Finally, I've isolated the problem for now.

  I have 2 different memory channels (purple & orange) and channels 2 & 4 If you count the farther away from the CPU does not work which means that I had to remove 2 GB of RAM

  Looks like the solution for now is to use my pc to 2 GB. I will update to WIN7 tonite, then ill try using two sticks again but I think ill have to buy 2 x 2 GB instead of using 4 x 1 GB that I used to use...

  No idea how to solve this problem with the ram slots?

• All of a sudden will not start Photoshop [on a Macbook Air]

  I'm on a MacBook Air with OS X 10.10.2 and I use Photoshop once a month, but now I really need, and it does not start:

  -As soon as I click on the Photoshop icon I get "Unable to open Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 because of a problem." And when I click on the "Report" button... "I get a very technical message (see below).

  -J' used Photoshop on this machine for about a year without problem, but recently I had a problem and needed to recharge my Time Machine backup.

  -I don't know if the problem occurred immediately after the restore or not.

  -J' read countless discussions on various forums, but nothing explained my problem exactly. I suspect a problem with my paths and permissions (since I read a report that restoring from a TimeMachine causes these problems sometimes), but I don't know which way is corrupted/missing/illegible.

  -J' tried to create a new account admin and Photoshop from here. It did not work.

  -I don't mind reinstalling, but I don't have a picture of the installer. I started with Photoshop 6, then updated to CS2 and CS4 and CS5. I have all the serial numbers but not all the images-updated.

  I would be grateful for clues on how to diagnose further and some problem.

  To restore preferences quickly by using a keyboard shortcut:

  This behavior is observed if the XML registration is missing in the system. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  • Close the Windows Sidebar . To do this, right-click on the Sidebar icon in the Notification area, and then clickoutput (GK: in the case of Windows 7, press Windows key + R > typetaskmgr and press enter > Proccesses tab > selectsidebar.exe > click on the end process button)
  • Open an elevated command prompt window. To do this, clickStart , click principally made programs , Accessories , right-clickguest , and then click run as administrator .
  • In the command prompt window, type the following command and press ENTER:

  regsvr32 msxml3.dll

  Similarly, run these commands:

  regsvr32 scrrun.dll

  regsvr32 jscript.dll

  If the registration was successful, you will see the message DllRegisterServer in succeeded to for each executed command. OpenWindows Sidebar (sidebar.exe ) and check if the problem is resolved.  You will need to disconnect and reconnect your user account to check if the issue has been addressed.

  No, my word substitution list is not empty, where is full. I already solved it by myself. It seems that we can only put Word Limited. So after that I deleted some of my word, inserts rerun. I think it is a bug for the Q5. Maybe we can only place max 80 words.

  One idea is to search the drivers available for your printer, uninstall and reinstall.

  Second, with the print open dialog box, hold down the Option key. Cancel will be Reset. Just click on it.

  Reset the preferences has been known to clear up the problems. Hold Cmd-Opt-shift and run Photoshop. Accept reboot of the Photoshop settings file and let it finish loading.

  A few ideas. Try them in order, one at a time.
