All print roses

Have a Deskjet HP832C printer (around 2000, but works very well, normally used to print in grayscale or black and white only).

Tried to print some pictures multicolored, and just kept pink print.

Changed the color cartridge.  Always pink printing.  Somewhere in the back of my mind, I think THAT has happened before-

Anyone know if that means anything?  I also need to change the black cartridge?

Thank you and all my apologies if this has been asked before - could not find a response to research

You probably have a very old #23 cartrdige. You can check the date of "install by" on the package or check the warranty expiration date (two years from the date of production) as shown here.  If the cartridge is still under warranty, contact HP or your dealer for a replacement.  I'm afraid your cartrdiges years warranty.

You can check this is the question is by gently dabbing the printhead on a damp cloth.  A good cartridge will have a bunch of cyan, yellow and magenta (Pink).  For your cartrdige displays only the magenta. You can have some success in the recovery of the cartridge by asking the cartrdige nose in about 1 "of very hot water for 5 minutes in this way.

When buying new cartrdiges I watch at least six months before the "install by" on the packaging.

Why my printer uses ink cartridge photo instead of the regular cartridge for all print jobs? I need to change a setting? He uses ink photo when I print documents or photos on the internet and it's always the first cartridge to change. How can I get it to stop and use the regular ink cartridge?

Photo black cartridges are designed to be used, it cannot be bypassed or ignored. When printing from your computer, you can set it to print in grayscale (black ink only), meaning that it will use less of the photo in the black, but they will still get used for maintenance. For more information, see use of inkjet printers ink.

NOTE: It will use the black photo cartridge for printing black if photographic Support is selected for the type of paper or printing is set to auto or to a picture frame.

  • HP laserjet pro 200 mfp color: see the picture of the little piece of paper to all prints folded

If I copy or print, and even though I changed all 4 toner cartridges, I still see the same exact image imposed on all printed documents, in the same place on the page.  It looks exactly like a piece of paper on the 1/4 "wide and 2" long, flattened and folded on itself.  I have a scan of a print that shows, but don't know how to get it in this post.  It does not show in a space on a page, but only when the ink hits to this place.

It seems that there is a real piece of paper whose image is picked up every time.  It could be on the drum or another party?  How could I solve this problem?

All of this tells me that the question is the transfer belt.  He saw many times.  You have probably a label or worse a tear in the belt that is done printing.  What happens is when a print job is sent to each toner establishes his portion of the image on the belt which moves from the back to the front and as the image on the belt gets to the rear it is transferred to the book by the transfer roller in the back cover.  Since the belt is the size of a sheet, that the fault only occurs on every other piece of paper.  If it is the material of the label or other foreign material adhered to the belt, the best option is to do a google search for the service manual and download.  Search instructions for the removal of the belt.  It is not an easy task.  If you try and there is material which adheres the belt that you will want to go to an art supply store, and you get a small container of a product call Bestine.  It is a rubber adhesive, remove the solvent.  Be very careful with the belt since traces or damage will be visible on the image.  If the belt is damaged you can buy replacement from many sources.  Good luck.

  • I see not all prints except try those on my computer...

Hello. I use HP Photosmart D110. I was unable to print apps for my daughter of http://h30495.www3.hp.com/detail/9.2 or other pages. A few days earlier, I did the same process and it worked. Today, it just take me to pages where all prints are available. When I click on "printable DreamWorks Animation®", I went to the homepage of dreamworks. When I click on 'activities', then I'm headed back to the page where you can see all the applications under the tag. When I click on kanfu panda, all I get is printed sample.

The only thing I could do is access to all the printer prints. Can someone help me please? Thank you.

    Hi stephanie,.

Print apps can only be started (and printed content) on the front panel of your printer connected to the cloud (in this case the D110a). Inside the ePrintCenter.com, you can display prints of sample of each application, but you can't actually start the apps to print from.

  • My Officejet Pro 8500 wireless won't all print cyan?

I have been using this printer for about 4 years. A few months ago, he stopped printing cyan and I'm now talking to her. I ran the clean print heads, etc. and cyan has not come at all. This is after trying a former and new officer, print cartridge Cyan HP. Help, please.

I have the 8500 institutions and experienced a similar problem. I managed to sucessfully troubleshoot. I replaced all ink cartridges that did not help. I replaced the two print heads and now it will be printed as the day, it was new. Be sure to shake each printhead for at least 10 seconds prior to installation.

Printhead part numbers are listed below.

Yellow and HP 940 Black Printhead

Cyan and HP 940 Magenta print head

I won't you be kidding the print heads are expensive. ($62.00 each), but they should solve your problems.

Try them, replacement print heads are under warranty if you really have nothing to lose.

    Good luck.

  • HP Officejet 6700 Premium all -: print OK, but not scan

I just replaced my old HP computer with a Windows 7 Professional 750-055xt HP computer and my printer scans is no longer. When I hit the scan button I get this message: "open the HP utility. Under scan settings, click Scan to the computer and make sure Enable Scan to computer is selected. "I don't know where to find the HP utility, so I am dead in the water. Any ideas where I could find it?

HP technicians could not track down the problem by using the remote, so I took my computer and printer to the Geek Squad at best buy. The GS has found a couple of infections that prevent the printer to install the required software. Once the infections have been wiped out and the software installed, everything was fine. • Can't scan at all & printer freezes my laptop is turned on more than 3 minutes?

Can't get my Laserjet M1212nf MFP to scan anything at all, it freezes as my laptop, if it's on more than 3 minutes.  I connected via the USB cable to my laptop Dell under Windows XP SP2.  I tried to run the diagnostic tool, but it freezes and then gives me the same error message as the printer when I try to scan something.  The error message "sorry, but scan software needs to close." I also deleted the drivers and reinstalled times since the original CD & download from HP.com whenever it froze just my laptop once the drivers have been installed. I don't know what else to try?

I know that it isn't a hardware problem, because the copy of the printer function works very well!  The scan bar is fail & before he come to scan and then send the data from my laptop.  So my guess is it's a software problem, but I'm not an expert?

It has been so for about 6 mos now and I'm just trying to not use it much, but it's starting to annoy me that I spent so much on something that I can't use!  Can someone please help me with this?  Thank you!!!

Wtdboss, sorry for not responding sooner, I was out of the country on a trip to visit his family in France.

Looks like we can fix pretty easily. To be able to scan from your computer directly on your computer you need to activate the scan function in the software for your printer on your computer. This should be under Scanner or scanner Actions. This will give you your printer permission to access your hard disk computers and record the material there.

I hope this solves this problem for you!

  • HP psc 2110xi to print vertical gray lines on all printing (Windows 8.1)

My hp 2001xi all-in-one psc began to print vertical gray lines on all the text and images on the test document in the problem-solving programs.  I asked troubleshooting this site to uninstall/reinstall it from this site which it has fact/could not, sayiny do my control panel, which is now no longer present the program of hp, or my research could find it.  I am running Windows 8.1 on my ASUS laptop.

HP Print and Scan Doctor can't find anything wrong.

I can still print documents with gray lines, obscuring everything.

    April1440

Thank you for the information about the printer to uninstall for Windows 8.

The problem of the gray line seems to be now disappeared after a very simple remedy...

    1. disconnect the USB and power cord

    2. plug in USB and power cord

Tah dah!  Printer's original, more grey lines!

I got this tip on the site, although the "vertical" illustrate and described were quite different than what mine were.

Now, if I will be memorized for future reference, as I remember that this remedy has worked for other issues in the past.

    Thanks for the support.  April

  • all printing is pink

Just replaced the ink 2 weeks there, in the middle of printing, he went from black to the rose and it has been pink since. I do not fill with ink, just buy a new one. is broken down and bought new new black ink, the color shows complete, black ink shows always empty. Have cleaned up through the installation of the canon and it's still pink!  It is a series of Cannon MG5300. It is around the age of 6 months.

Something funny thing, when I registered for this forum, I received an email of confirmation email, I printed, came out perfect! So I tried to print something else, and it's PINK! Help!

    Hi DOOLEY33,

As the nozzle check is still broken after running through a few cleanings, the printer may require service.  At this point, please join our technical support team to the bit.ly/ContactCanon for the other direction.

  • 5520 e - ONE - IN - ALL printer: my computer does not recognize my wireless printer

I've done all the troubleshooting that was recommended.  The printer is connected to the network and my computer is also connected but when I try to add the IP address of the computer to connect to the computer, it does not recognize the IP address.

Direct wireless is for printing by a device to connect to the printer instead of a network. I would like to disable the function.

That being said, here's what to do next:

    1. Turn the printer off.
    2. While the printer is turned off, disconnect the power cable from the back of the router for a minute.
    3. When the lights come back on the router, turn on the printer.

    Now:

    • If the IP address of the printer starts with 169.254, the printer is not getting an IP address from the router. Contact who provided you with the router to determine why it is not assigning IP addresses.
    • If the IP address of the printer starts with 172, the printer is connected to a network of comments. Contact those that you provided with the router for assistance with deactivation of the feedback network.
    • If the IP address of the printer starts with 192.168, the printer is properly connected to a network.
    • If the iP of the printer address begins with any number of other, the network is maintained. Contact one that keeps your support network.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are unable to resolve your problem, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • All printing errors in the queue for a shared printer

I have a HP6110 connected to an XP machine.  It is shared and the printer is installed on a computer vista laptop.  I could print however now each job is in the queue and then goes into an error state.  The only way I can remove the task from the queue is to restart the print spooler.

How can I fix once and for all?

Well, I never aspired to be certified MCSE on NT than a few computers existing except in places like Bletchley Park to crack the enigma code messages .

Deleting the files in the folder is at the heart of the fixing of the problem if my hypothesis about your problem is correct. The problem is one of the frequently reported printer problems.

  • HP Deskjet D2660: All prints gives blank Pages

Hello. We have long used the faithful D2660 to print labels for shipping mostly in black and white. We recently used not printer in over a month, and upon his return, is having problems printing.  It was unusually hot in England during that period and may have caused the problem is perhaps remarkable?

All attempts to print blank paper to return. The printer goes through the usual movements of printing, but it seems that there is no ink coming out of the cartridge.

    I tried...

    • Insert two offical cartridges with ink left and who does not. The first two were seen correctly make the ink and the third was also properly don't not have ink. It can identify how much ink is left in a cartridge.
    • The toolbox using automated "To clean the print cartridges", "defamation cleaning Page back" and "Test Print-document". Nothing has changed and it printed a blank page.
    • Move the printer cable
    • Grayscale (who oppose black ink only) and checking the size of the page.
    • I have already used the printer on Ubuntu. I started a live CD and tried to print from there, but again without success.
    • Installed the latest drivers from HP.com. It does not appear to say something wrong with the printer.

    Hello @ZackR,

Welcome to the Forums of HP and thanks for posting!

I want to help you with the problem of blank print you are having with your HP Deskjet 2660 printer.

Thanks for the detailed description of the problem and the steps you have taken to try to solve it. Looks like the ink in your cartridges can have dried in the hot season (this is especially likely if you have had their printer output).

I would recommend looking on the steps in this document, to see if there is nothing, you may have missed:

HP Deskjet D2600 series printers - troubleshooting print quality issues

If the problem persists, I strongly recommend replacing your cartridges, because it seems that the printer itself works fine.

    I hope this helps!

  • HP Laser Jet Pro CM1415 can only you by default for all print in black to save color ink?

My impression is text I want to print using black ink only.  I tried using shades of gray, but ran out of all my color cartridges and still have 70% of black left!  Is there a way to get the printer to use only black ink, unless I said to use the color (for photos) so that my color ink will last longer?

If you use the "Print in grayscale" checkbox in the properties of the printer, which will force the printer to use only the black toner.  You can check by looking at the page printed under magnification.

Of course if your photos are full page that will use much more ink than, say, 5 x 7.  If you are printing photos on glossy paper rather than the typical plain paper, which will tend to use a little more toner.  Keep in mind that yields of the cartridge is based on the coverage is low (such as text), and the photos have a much higher than the text coverage.  I'm curious about how many photos and what size, don't you think that you have printed this year?
