• need help for W7 to the downgrading to XP - graphic!

  follow-up guide to CherylG of downgrading from W7 to XP and got to the point where everything works well, there is just one very annoying problem: I can't get the resolution of my screen that I need!

  Hardware: HP G72-150EF, model VY077EA #ABF.

  Video: ATI Mobility Radeon HD5430 (512 MB)

  Now under XP SP3.

  Tried all possible drivers I could find, works fine, max definable screen resolution is 1152 x 864, while I need 1600 x 900, which gives a not so nice result.

  Any suggestions?

• Is the recovery partition, all that I need for a complete reinstall?

  The purpose of the message in fact more or less add up to my problem, but I guess being a little more specific can not hurt.

  I need to format a hp laptop. It seems G700.  I do not have anyone record but I don't have the recovery partition. My question is simple: is this partition and (the software on it) enough to format & reinstall or recovery tool still expected I have a few discs at hand during the installation?

  You don't need any drive that the recovery partition is sufficient to format and reinstall the OS.

  Note, there are many people here who does not realize that the formatting of the hard drive will erase all their personal data. Every time that I am addressing this kind of things, I always mention to make sure that people understand.

• I have an audio bar that I need help for connection

  I was given a computer from a friend.  It is a Dell with a Dell monitor & bar audio.  The audio bar has a cord with a series male connector 9-pin.  The soundcard on the computer has 26 pins taken on this & I guess she must have and adapter to be connected, but have searched the Internet and have not found a. She told me that she uses this bar with his computer, but is not what I need to plug it.

  There is nothing wrong with my computer pyshcically what so ever. I was and still am VERY STRESSED! for many months reading turtorials endless on many issues, but the biggest--months of admin password accepted, but refused instant access, or the file specified cannot be found, or similar error. I have no rights, privileges, etc. the whole lot. I tried to change/admin access in command prompt, but I get error 5 or access denied, or I am not at the right level. I've seen tutorials on how to move errof 5, but as usual the people do not understand that I have not just admin what so ever. They all sit down and say to use admin to resolve this issue, when the tutorial is assumed to be on the way to get the admin! to solve the problem! A few days ago, I walked into the safe directory services mode with my MIRICAL admin account! I don't know what I got RIGHT on the admin account that is functioning normally, fiddling around with it in Control Panel administrative tools to make it work. I am amazed! HOWEVER! Satan is back! Operating system Windows don't would not install error and AVG has got in the way. I couldn't uninstall AVG so I got riped off and removed as many files as I could. But suddnely I decided to change my admin password and now it does not accept the passwords, all passwords I have in my head and that you know are right that I memorized for many years. I had a password reset OF what USB made from my Windows, but it always says error when you try to change the admin password! and it is this that just blocked it, by the look of it. now I am locked out of this time, as well as access deined. I have no USB keys and had to format the reset to try one of your user bypassess, but as usual USB or DVD cannot be read on startup. I tried to download and bypasses creating a USB DVD but they will not play to restart, regardless of how I set the bios to read the disc, it may not be ready. I must run going in the security mode, when I could. Disturbances on reboot Windows freezes and so the installation screen of win 7 Home premium. I was able to run the windows installation operating system, directory services safe mode, but it collapsed when AVG got in the way. Now, I can not run it again. I can't run anything. I have upgraded to win 7 ultimate with a 26 keys that said they were rejected, but when I restarted I got win 7 ultimate. That has now expired, I don't know if the upgrade to win 7 ultimate has nothing to do with the problem. Didn't seem to when I got mirical admin access. Admin is demmanded through my computer everything including the security for what modes either editable or executable. INCLUDING ADMIN ITSELF. People JUST don't GET THAT! I can't edit or create a new admin account. You need admin to edit or create admin or standard. In all, no one seems to understand the heart of the problem. I've been clost to do when I got access miraculous admin a few days ago. but now I'm back to square one. You have any ideas how to find my password to my admin and all the rights privileges etc., so can format I hope this machine to get rid of the Trojan horse and other infections and pirate * of *!
