  • First create a new folder by right click on an open space on your desktop
  • hover the mouse over the new, & click on new folder
  • right-click on the new folder and choose Rename
  • write your selected folder name
    
  1. Connect your data cable USB & POWER to the camera or insert the memory card
  2. Open the files and Select the files you want to save
  3. Select files butten now the mouse left click and move the mouse over the files
  4. then right click on the selected files and click copy
  5. go to the folder you named and open
  6. right-click and select Paste & that's it!

• Code received the error 80004005 When you try to import photos and video from the camera in Windows Live Photo Gallery.

  Spent several hours in technical support with gun tries to resolve to not be able to download pictures from the camera to my Win XP computer.   Usually the computer detects the camera and demand "How would you import pictures?" and the list of shows in one window.   We don't get any list in this window, but only managed to fill the window briefly for WLPG to detect the photos and video, but when we went to import, we received the 8004005 error.   Thereafter, things have regressed, and we're back to not get any answer computer saying that it detects pictures or video - nothing.   But back to square one.

  There are two issues here - likely related: unable to import photos and videos and the 80004005 error.   Who came first and is there cause and effect here, and which way should we go?  Inquiring minds want to know - and being able to import photos and video of the camera Canon Powershot A3100IS again.

  After hours Technical Support Canon was completely blocked and indicated that it was probably an OS problem with my computer.

  Thanks for all your great suggestions.    I finally solve the problem, but I don't know exactly what fixed it.   I ended up running CCleaner (latest version) and make a 'windows', 'applications' and cleaning of "registry".   This needed a re-boot, and when I rebooted, it's when I could finally download the pictures from the camera.    Not exactly what fixed the problem, but there may be here spirits who may be able to say, ' Yes, with blah, blah, blah, you did...» ».

  As far as I know that is a lot of sterile technical support hours and re - install the software and then, finally, runing CCleaner paid off.    I will record your information in case I need it in the future... Thanks again.

  I just downloaded Windows Live.  All my images are imported, but if I click on one to edit it I get the error message that an error is preventing the photo or the bideo appears.  I can run slide shows but I can't trouble photos or make photos in the menu.

  Thanks for your reply, but I found what the problem was.  I was looking for "pictures.pd6" and ran across a file called "OLD_Pictures.pd5" with a date 28/05/12.  That day, my nephew was messing around with my computer with an image and then I realized that he had to have done something right here.  So I went to restore and restored a date before that time and now everything works again.  Next time, I'll make sure that it doesn't change anything on my pc.

  Mandatory Upeate: there are 'Release Notes' at the bottom of the update notice, but it is empty.

• My photos and video are not supported due to safe mode (I think)

  I went in safe mode to move around 3 000 files, photos and videos of user account 1 and account 2 to 2 office in a folder called 'FILES2KEEP '. When I rebooted my computer to check on the photos, I could not see most of the miniatures, and even with some still visible, when I tried to open windows photo gallery said, "Photo Gallery can't open this photo or video. This file format is not supported, or you do not have the latest updates to the photo gallery. "For the videos, I received the error message 2048 after them playing with QuickTime player. These files were not deleted somehow, just moved from one region to another in safe mode. The sizes of these photos and videos are normal and their respective sizes. I decided to place these files in normal mode and then restarted my computer, however, nothing has worked. I sill have the folder "FILES2KEEP" on desktop 2, but without the files user account. This could be the cause this and what are the several ways to address this issue?

  (Note: I'm running on Windows Vista Edition complete with Service Pack 2)

  Safe mode was probably not the cause, but the files are permanently damaged and need to be restored from your most recent backup.  The files may have been damaged during the move, but which is unlikely because move files only changes their display location, the tracks on the disc do not actually move.

• 140 GB of photo and video backup

  I have always used the backup through my Photoshop Elements 5.0 and put the picture on dvd - r. I used the incremental backups and always checked each dvd. Well, I now have my full internal hard drive, so I bought an external hard drive with 1 TB of storage.

  Before I have to hover over the images and video on the external hard drive that I want to do an additional backup where incremental backups I've done over the past years may fail for some reason any. Today I went to do a full backup that showed I have 140 GB of photo and video, and he would take 33 dvd. I continued to do and checked the dvd that I went. After checking the dvd 4, I got error telling me to check with the manufacturer for updated firmware for my dvd burner. I checked with the manufacturer, and there is no update available. So I tried the backup 3 times more with another dvd and got the same error. Any ideas for why this is happening now. I've never had this happen before.

  If I can't get this dvd backup to work, what are my options for spare backup before making this transfer of video and photos on my new external hard drive?

  When you file > Backup, you select the external drive to the destination of the backup.  So, the external drive has 280 GB (140 for backup, 140 for the restored photos).

  Hello, I have the same challenge that many seem to have, in that my photos and videos take forever to download if they load at all. This is a paid service and the answers seem to be "it could take a month" or "be patient"? Well, it has been over a week now and my 35 pictures and 6 videos have not downloaded. I've stopped and started the service, I rebooted my phone and left if for hours and nothing. It is absolutely ridiculous and I would be really grateful if someone could give something more than a 'be patient' so that Apple continues to extract funds from me for a service that can not be used?

  Oh and the videos are not large (we are 67seconds and they total 329seconds) as I had no space to take big videos because I waited "patiently" to download photos and how big can they really be?

  Suspend the download and turn off iCloud library temporarily.

  Have you tried signing off iCloud and then insert it again? I suggest that you try it. Once signed in, return iCloud library on which will restart the download.

  If this does not work, then try to reset your device: hold the home and power buttons at the same time and continue to hold until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the slide to unlock screen is displayed again, return iCloud Phtoto library on which will restart the download.
