an icon that is animated to the page until it loads the data

Hi all
When loading a page jspx, I make a web service call.
It takes about 10-15 seconds to load... .till then page is empty
I just want to add an icon that is animated until
This web service call is executed this jspx page loading.

Please help me on this.

Thank you
Shaz

Hello

in this case I think that it is best to use a call to run inside as otherwise the application expects the WS return

1. Add an af:clientListener to af:document and set it to load
2. define an af:serverListener to af:document and map it to a managed bean that calls the Web Service
3. in the JS function that responds to the event load, display a popup showing the busy status
4. use af:serverListener to invoke the Web Service
5. from the managed bean, as soon as the WS call is returned, close the popup (you can do in Java or by using ExternalRenderKitService using JavaScriot

Not sure if the tips above are not enough because you don't mention your level of experience with ADF. If there is a follow-up to this question, let me know.

  • Windows XP does not start. Can I boot Windows from a disk so that I can recover the data?

Windows XP does not start. Can I boot Windows from a disk so that I can recover the data? This should be a CD because it doesn't have a floppy disk on my laptop drive. It is maybe that my hard drive has begun to fail and therefore cannot locate XP startup files. I can not start using one of the other methods of starting for example. Safe mode. If I can recover the data, I can then reload Windows and check the surface of the disc etc etc. Thank you all for your comments. Steve

Lately, I'm leaning toward the Hiren's BootCD you can download here:

    http://www.hirensbootcd.NET/

On the left, click on download, scroll down, choose the most recent version

The download link is a little hard to see.  It is at the bottom of the page, above the drop for older versions and looks like this (click this component to download the ZIP file):

Direct HTTP mirror + Torrent, Torrent Magnet

Click the "Live HTTP Mirror" link to start the download and save the ZIP file on your desktop of somewhere that you can remember.

The ZIP file is large, so the download will take probably some time to complete.  Then unzip the download to extract theHirens.BootCD.ISO file that will be used to create your new bootable CD.

Create a bootable CD. ISO file is not the same as simply copying the. File ISO onto a blank CD.  You must use software that includes how to burn a. ISO to a CD to create a bootable CD.

File ZIP the Hiren is the file BurnToCD.cmd that you can double-click to launch it.  The BurnToCD.cmd will use the file BurnCDCC.exe to burn the. ISO file onto a blank CD using your existing CD burner.  You can also use your own burning software as long as your software is able to create a bootable CD. ISO file.  More modern burning programs can create a bootable CD. ISO image.  Create a CD from an ISO image bootable is not the same as just the file on a CD burning.

If you need a simple and CD burning, this is a free software popular software:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your new bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.
These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When starting on the Hiren's CD, you will see a menu of options.  Choose Mini XP.

It will appear while Windows is loading and you will be presented with a desktop computer that has the look and feel of the interface of Windows Explorer, you are already accustomed to using.  You will feel at home.

Using the Mini XP, you can access the Internet, maneuver around your system, copy files, replace the files, run the scans for malware, etc.  There are dozens of free and useful tools included in the CD that can be used to repair your system, or copy files to another device such as a USB device or an external drive if drop in trying to repair your system.

If you want to see if you can fix your system, describe what is happening when you try to start and to answer these questions:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

  • all my icons that were normally at the bottom of the screen have migrated to the right side and are all bundled together how to place their return to the bott

Sorry, it's a question of support of Windows, the Windows taskbar does not part of Firefox. I do not use Windows 8.1 myself, and I don't know if the process is the same as on my Windows XP - but maybe click and hold and drag this bar down might work like on Windows XP.

  • How can I change an icon with a custom icon that is downloaded from the internet (i.e. not already in the file "bowse icon")

I want to customize my desktop icons to make it easier to read. When I right click, select Change icon, select Browse, I see all the icons I want to use. I downloaded a custom on the internet and saved on my desktop icon, but I don't know how to replace the old icon by this news.

Tried to drag on the old icon without success.

    Hi Larry,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand from your description, that you cannot change the folder icon with a custom icon uploaded to the Internet.

I'll be happy to help you. This problem could be caused because you may not have selected the right path or the location of the file that you downloaded or the downloaded file may be damaged or does not work or does not exist.

I suggest to follow the steps below and we update on the State of the question.

I recommend you to check or find the location of the file or path where exactly you downloaded and to check whether the file is actually present in the location and also check the file is fully downloaded and work very well.

    a. Subsequently, navigate to the folder that you change the icon and right-click on the folder.

    b. click Properties, click the Customize tab, click change icon, and click Browse.

    c. Select the correct path inside the menu drop-down or enter the correct path manually from the exact location of the downloaded file.

    d. open the file downloaded for the icon, choose the name of the file and click Open to select the file, and check to see if it helps you.

If the problem persists, then I suggest you to download the file once more on the Internet and save it in a new folder and check the issue.

    Hi Threigia,

Remove the .mdlp of file name, so that it ends just .dmg.

We are seeing this behavior with users who have installed of MathLab and we look at why this is happening.  FWIW, this happens to other software THAT DMG files as well, not only the installer of Flash Player.  For some reason when users have installed, MathLab when the DMG file is downloaded, it adds the extension .mdlp for her.  When users try to run it, rather than open with DiskImageMounter, which is what OS X uses to open DMG files, it opens using MATLAB and the result is what you posted.  In this case in the future, simply remove ".mdlp" from the file name and DiskImageMounter will open the DMG, instead of Matlab.

  • My restoration of systems said that it cannot restore the dates, I've tried. What could be the problem?

I played Solitaire Easter when my XP screen turned blue with the notice of a serious error had occurred.  One proposed remedy has been remove recently installed software and that was AVG Linkscanner and use the systems I tried using two different dates, which brought the response that systems of restoration cannot restore to each date.  What would prevent restore work systems?

    Hello everyone!

New to the forum, hope to stick around and give some knowledge and take some as well!

the question, I'm having a problem with this morning:

I downloaded a GB 210 entitled SBS09.bkf in the name of data/vm main store

folder, but I can't seem to find the file in the virtual machine?

no secret I'm missing? Laughing out loud

Yes. Within the virtual machine you want to transfer the file, map a network drive and then copy the file to the action. This is not different from file transfer in a physical environment.

  • I lost the icon that takes a URL and saves it as a bookmark (lost icon)

At the top right, I used to have an icon I want to click which automatically too the URL of what has been seen and place it in the bookmarks. I lost the two icons. How to make a comeback?

I have attached a screenshot showing what, in my view, are missing icons, as well as the "overflow" icon that may appear at the end of the main toolbar. Do you find the missing icons on a list of infinity?

If this is not the case, they could have been moved off the toolbars or on a different toolbar. You can try to use customize to put back them in their place. This article describes how to use customize them: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars

If the icons are not found, you can use the "Restore Defaults" button at the bottom of the Customize tab to reset your toolbars on the original icons, as well as some changes made by modules.

  • The taskbar icon remains highlighted even when the mouse is moved.

In windows 7, (and this is just a recent problem, so probably linked to an update of windows or something) normally when you move the mouse over an icon that is pinned to the taskbar (or icon of a window that is open) he puts out, then when you move the mouse from a distance, like on a document or something the highlight goes away. My laptop (from recently) does not remove the highlight. What I finally put the mouse in the taskbar remains highlighted until I put the mouse over something else (it does not disappear when I move the mouse away). This could be a third party software problem, or a bad windows update? (he has started making cela only a couple of days)
