  I have an Optiplex GX280 with soundmax integrated digital audio under Windows 7 SP1. Sound works fine for a long time, then more nothing. I uninstalled it, rebooted, Windows Update found and installed the same driver. Speakers using good reputation does not work. I tried to find a few smwdm.sys, NG. • I want to find the digital audio output on my Pavilion vd6853ea notebook

  I spent far too long trying to find where this output.

  I have a very good stereo and at the moment am through a USB cable to connect to my DAC.

  It seems that there is an output digital realtec somewhere on the laptop as it appears not when I go to the playback devices and it tests ok visually.

  The 3.5 jack plug is just analog and hybrid not a spdif.

  Where is he?

  Please help as I am getting really fed up now!

  Mode - SFC

  6143 does not support Correlated DIO (i.e. clocked by the hardware), the 6133 (see-> digital I/o--> Timing). As a result, synchronized doing of entry works with the latter. Acquisition of meter in the buffer is available on both devices. The 6133 also authorizes analog and digital triggering.

  To synchronize these tasks, you need to export a clock signal (sample clock HAVE for example) and take to the DIOs and counters for an acquisition in the buffer. An example for synchronization of AI and DI is given once you install the DAQmx driver in the folder when you are using Windows XP. Maybe you can start with that and gradually add your features.

• No sound from the computer with connected generic speakers VISTA SP2. Symbol pregnant shows active with the Digital Audio device.

  I have vista SP2, I connected to generic stereo speakers using the green light at the back of the computer. Vista does not recognize the speakers. The speaker symbol at the bottom right shows "digital (HDMI) 2 high definition output audio device." It shows active. I had this problem before, and VISTA should pick up 'speakers' something to that effect. I have no sound until it captures "speakers". I can't get VISTA to recognize this. It keeps starting with the digital audio device. Don't know what to do, checked all the forums. It should just pick up these simple generic markets good speakers. Before SP2, I lose sound when VISTA is in standby mode. He would then turn off the stereo speaker and replace the digital output device driver... However since SP2 I can't get VISTA to recognize that I have just connected speakers and not a digital output device.

  Yes, the fiber optic cable sockets are in different sizes. I know that the selection where I live is limited, but I am sure that you would have a hard time to find them if you look pretty hard.

  I have my system setup to be able to video chat, and there's a really bad echo across the line.  When people speak to me in my configuration, they can clearly hear what they were saying is repeated.  I did some tests and it seems that the issue is due to the sound from the speakers bouncing off the walls and then picked up by the mic.  I found this room correction function in the sound options menu and finds it difficult to make it work.

  I have a STR-DA5700ES I bought precisely because it has a digital Toslink out.  I used to use this connection on old receivers to connect to my Sony MDR-DS6500 7.1 headphones.  The headset unit accepts a digital Toslink connection to listen to the audio Dolby Digital.

  I can listen to Dolby Digital happy when I watch TV, because it generates the audio of the Toslink out and my helmet.  However, when streaming a movie Internet through the STR-DA5700ES with audio 5.1, it comes out not audio for the Toslink on.

  Unfortunately the receiver works as expected and will not digital audio (HDMI or optical) from all the internal dissemination services. The receiver expects that you will use it connected speakers to listen to surround audio, or the taking of headset available on the front. There is not a firmware update available or planned that the receiver has been designed to work this way and can be changed by modifying the software.  Keep in mind that it is impossible to get 5.1 surround sound 2 headphones to listen to the speakers, the surround effect is 'Virtual' or 'simulated '.  As a work around you can use a media player that allows an external output optical to your TV if it offers streaming services, or head Jack on the front of the receiver that was planned for this exact purpose.
