Android: Maintain 2 builds with Air 19 and 22 air

Hi all

I want to update our games with a 22 Air version so that all users will be able to play with N installed Android. At the same time, we would continue to support Android 2.x with Air 19.

I've done that I have created a version of our application with the code with Air 22 x.x.20 version and a version with Air 19 x.x.10. My expectation was that Google would send all users with Android 4 or more recent version Air 22 and all users with the version of Android 2.x 19 Air. However, when I download the version x.x.10 of Google game I get the error message: all configurations that could receive x.x.10 receive x.x.20 instead. Which means that play Google does not identify the accumulation of Air 22 as incompatible on Android 2.x, is that correct?

What needs to be done to support both versions?

Yes, this should make the build, only available for devices running Android 4 +.

I don't know if this is documented somewhere, however, I remember having seen devs problems AIR when you explicitly set the value of targetSdkVersion at 23. They ended by assigning the value 19. See this link for more information. I don't know if this problem is fixed in AIR SDK 22. You should not need to 23 but in order to make it work on Android 6 +.

  • My new Apple TV v4 does not smoothly on Airplay with my MacbookPro and Air laptops but with the iPhone and iPad Airlay gets so juddery and then goes off - laptop computer WiFi connections all that happens on clues?

    Devastated to find that the new AppleTV works great on Airplay / mirroring with the iPhone and iPad devices but completely useless on the NEW laptops.

    Trying to show any video for example utube creates immediately hop on the TV screen when you use the Macbook and in no time the WiFi connection is stunned.

    I decided after a long time to invest in a PC for me to use the video publishing house (at work, I have dual Xeon based build). After a long search I opted for this configuration and I am interested in your opinion and maybe a few suggestions for improvement. I chose X 99 platform for future compatibility upgrade and the CPU I chose now, I can replace later down the road if/when Intel realeases the 10 new core CPU i7 LGA2011-3. So I didn't want to spend more money on the K 5930 or 5960 X at this time, and I feel the 5820K with a stable overclock will give me the results I want for now, as I edit 1080 p videos for now.

    I turn mainly on SONY PMW - EX1 and NIKON D800, with sometimes images of k 4 from DRONES. I use PP to publishing, AE for the post production and motion graphics, SOUL of renders, Lightroom and PS for RAW photo editing.

    good deal and CPU cooler, x 10 core i7-6950 is widespread about 6 months out and compatible with x 99. You wouldn't have to upgrade right then, but every time you felt the need.

    If you are looking for max overclock stable and expansion as a new video card, a quality 1 k watt will be a better option. for a little more, the SuperNOVA 1300 G2 evga and XFX P1-1250-BEFX are on sale at a discount, if you don't mind discounts. the hx850i corsair is also a little more with his rebate, the hx1000i jumps a bit with no refund.

    GPU - core count, the gtx 980 would be worth $400 vs gtx 970 price. the 980 gtx has more than just a difference of base number, but it still makes the $500 + unattractive price tag. If you think you need more power now, take a look at the gtx 980ti. If not, go with the gtx 970 and if / when you do not need an update, add another to the creation or upgrade to pascal or later, when nvidia releases.

    If possible, I would avoid mirror or any what raid for backup. RAID (same mirror) can add an additional point of readers isolated data and data corruption or failure. three separate copies is good for critical data, two if not so important. using a Cloud Computing service may be a good option for one backup copies.

    The situation is:

    I did an Application AIR, inside which a native process - running EXE file.

    I use Flash CC as IDE and tried to use the compilation as EXE with AIR 2.6 and 3.6 - results are the same.

    So I insert inside a control if the nativeprocess is supported or not and the native process is supported all the time.

    When I come to install the application and run it - the first attempt is good - everything works as a must: internal EXE is called by my Application with the necessary parameters so long I need.

    However if I close the application, then if it run not new - internal EXE is not starting at all, depends on number of attempts to restart the application.

    Then only is to uninstall, install back and then you'll be a session more successful EXE-internal requests, until the forthcoming resumption of the application.

    That's all.

    I tried to "google it" but without success. The bug is probably very rare.

    Help me please?

    Update: compiling with the Flash IDE of CC, he works all the time with no problems.

The same code works on Air 19 on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. The same code works on Air 20/21 on Windows, Mac, iOS, but not for Android. It works on Air Android 20/21, if I use the rendering of the cpu and gpu not rendered - but, I need on the Android gpu rendering because she makes a lot (and I mean) best answer. When I use the gpu on Android Air 20/21, the sphere seems to be ok as I can type where an image should appear and the app responds as it should, BUT I can't see the images on the sphere.

    I just tried my application with SDK 21, 150, beta and works with gpu rendering! Looks like this corrected version the problem - thanks.

  • Export release with AIR 3.9 generation error

    When I try to export a release build with captive runtime I got up this error. I'm not sure what is meant by "to ensure that the time on your computer is synchronized" and my certificate is valid.

    Our Department QE has been able to reproduce this problem by using the currently released air version.  However, it seems to be fixed in our upcoming beta release (which will be released tomorrow afternoon.)  You can try the beta version and let us know how it works for you?

  • Cannot export release build for AIR app...

    Flash Builder 4.7 won't let me export a release build for AIR applications to all the...

    All started when I wanted to make some changes to an old AIR application.  Could not even run in the debugger, so I updated the AIR SDK (using instructions available here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-builder/kb/overlay-air-sdk-flash-builder.html and here: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/how-overlay-air-sdk-flex-sdk.html )

    So after doing all this and a few other changes, I finally got my AIR application to run the debugger in Flash Builder 4.7.  The changes I wanted to make, and then tried to export Release Build...  Kept giving me an error "Incorrect password for this certificate" every time that I tried it - but she would never let me enter a password.  I went to the project. Release Build, export and on the first screen, I have to click on 'Next' and he jumped directly to the compilation, jumping on the screen where you are supposed to be able to enter the password and certificate information.

    Thought that maybe because it was an old AIR project, which was causing the problem.  So I started a new project AIR - one very simple with just a < s:Label > inside a < s:WindowedApplication >.  Project | Properties | Flash Builder package and created a brand new self-signed certificate (which seemed to work) but once again trying to export release build, he wouldn't let me get to the screen where you enter the password.  By clicking 'Next' in the first screen on project | Export Release Build jumps just directly to the compilation and (of course) it gives me the error of Incorrect password, because he never gave me a chance to enter the password.

    So what is happening here?  Why not export commercial versions for AIR projects?  It's extremely frustrating - Flash Builder 4.6 never gave me problems.  What can I do to fix the Flash Builder 4.7 so it does not work with AIR projects?

    Was having the same problem and totally by chance (with a mix of frustration) I went to move the window and accidentally resized it... and low and behold the rest of the content window popped up as if she had a label 'hidden' on this subject... a collueges had the same problem on a windows and mac machine and it was resolved in the same way... I hope this helps someone...

  • Writing xml config with AIR

    Greetings!

    I know that this is possible. I can't think of a way to do that is very smooth, however. For the application, the user will enter data that will be stored in a config file to another Java application that is waiting for the file to be created (both on the same machine with air). Can someone tell me a simple example?

    The config itself is big enough and I'll probably use several viewstats to get all the information. Any help or advice are appricated!
