  I'm trying to use an oem edge within the muse file to post a link to another page in the site.

  I tried added link click in Edge - window.open ("http://www.adobe.com", "_self"); -that works very well during the preview at the edge.  But when I bring it in muse that it does not work.  The only way I can get it to work is to remove "_self" of the code, but I want it to open in a new window it will exercise a subnav button. I would have thought this would be a common use for animations of edge in the muse. Any ideas?

  I have an interactive pdf in indesign with animation, works very well when they are exported to the swf file.

  I need to use more complex animations that Indesign has, so I created some new features of Adobe Edge animate, exported save them as a file .oam and then put them in the Indesign file.

  If I use the Preview on the animation tab I see indesign animations and the edge, but if I export it to a SWF file is - this only animation to indesign working, and if I export to epub file is only the edge animation work.

  Somehow it is possible to export so that the two works of animation types. and it is possible to do it in a SWF file.

  I have Creative Cloud 2014 for both programs

  I have an animation of Adobe edge, composed of PNG and a transparent stage. If I place the OAM file in a jpg article animation with transparent overlays phase my background in indesign (below the OAM) and works very well.

  When I place the CAO even in an article PDF Animation scene doesn't have a transparent stage therefor blocking my background?

  I thought with the new tools that you can put HTML files with transparent steps to PDF articles?

  I would like to know how to personnel an animation created in Edge animate in a div in a page html or php to exsiting. It seems that there are a lot of files, including a solitary html page that contains only the code necessary for the animation. I have an animated logo created on the edge I want to place on another page of my site. It's probably a simple task... but it's not obvious to me.

  Hi I have updated an Animation on board. I already put it in a Muse file that has not yet been published. The animation has been refined a bit and now the changes not reflected in the file of Muse. I was wondering if this is possible. I thought I saw somewhere that it did this automatically and magically . If this isn't the case, please let me know what you think is the best way to go about it.   I suggest to try two things:

  • (If it isn't already) convert the text in the file Edge curves
  • Export under a different name and a link to that on the contrary

  For Edge reflow, we try to bring a more familiar to web design drawing surface. Then, we also have the user interface that allows CSS properties. Reflow is primarily a tool of design. It is in preview mode, which means that it is not supposed to be a complete product to date. We have a lot of features left to create.

  Reflow is probably (slightly) more on the technical side of the spectrum compared to products such as Muse.

  There are a lot of good material video you could read to familiarize themselves with the reflow, Muse and other products.

  When the animation, placed on the logo (see link), is loading in the browser a white box that appears first.

  reload the page, or visit again by clicking on the menu (there is a difference)

  on (re) load (or when the first time the user visits site) a white box appearing, or?

  It's the iframe that flashes white. an iframe will be automatically generated by placing the file .oam within the muse of adobe.

  to avoid putting this in thesection of a site where you have this problem.

  IFRAME will only appear if it is fully charged and without flashing white before. =)

• Animated book of edge?

  I'm looking for a recent book, solid help in the learning of edge animate. I've done a few tutorials on Lynda, but your do not think they will very in depth. Does anyone have thoughts on learning of advanced decent manuals?

  Do a search on Amazon for "Book Animate Edge" and you're coming with a number, some more recent than others - but most are not "recent" (2012-2013 are typical).

  Two examples:

  "Adobe Edge Animate: using the Web Standards to create Interactive sites 1st edition" by Simon Widjaja came out in December 2013, although the Interior pub date says 2014.

  Critics are enthusiastic.

  "Animate adobe Edge: The Missing Manual ' by Chris Grover (O'Reilly, Nov 2012). I bought this book in 2013 and love it. And, using this book as an example, I think it is always valuable, which probably applies to many other animated both titles. There are a few interface changes and improved features on the edge since the Missing Manual was released, but the underlying strategies are always the same IMO. A well written book.

  Also, if you're somewhat new to jQuery (I use the 2014.0.1 release of Animate which requires jQuery), ' JavaScript & jQuery: missing manual ' by David McFarland Sawyer (O'Reilly) is a valuable companion for any book or tutorials on Edge animate. I have the 2nd edition (2012)... There's a 3rd edition (October 2014).

• Animation in Adobe Edge animate 2015 changes after I save and return

  Hi all.

  Thus, the 2014 version was very good.  In 2015, I created an animation.  Saved.  Closed the program.

  When I returned, stuff has been moved slightly and the animation was wobbly.

  The "axes" of items I had rotation went from the place I put them, towards the Center, so they go wrong.

  In addition, items decided just hard to move a part of the stage to the other.

  Any ideas?

  I couldn't find anywhere to downgrade in the Adobe Creative Cloud app (which I hate to do) to 2014, but if I have to, to save my company time and sanity, I will.

  Generally, the application Adobe Creative cloud has an option under 'Manage the Application', or somewhere, I think.

  How can I do this?

  Then, I understood what was going on.

  (1) all the graphics that you import into Edge animate must already be sized down.  If you resize them on board animate, well, I got unexpected results.

  (2) you must save it to your layers, one at a time, in Photoshop.  DO NOT use any batch process for this.  Once done by batch process in E.A. graph, I came across problems.

  (3) convert all you want turn to symbols.  Set the right anchor on the scene and inside the symbol.  This will ensure that your point of rotation remains consistent, save for save.

  (4) this is the second time where I posted a question, so that waiting for a correct answer, troubleshoot - it done myself and then returned and posted the answer.  Maybe I have a career hidden in Adobe technical support?  :-)

  I can't work this. Im trying to create a drag and drop game using edge animate/Jquery.

  IM following a tutorial to the letter, but none of my symbols is draggable when I saw.

  I downloaded a tutorial made in a previous version of edge Animate and it works fine until I have import in Edge animate.

  Once it's updated preview and then it stops working

  Can anyone help?

  If your draggable any transition, he will do it. You can't have an animation on your draggable on the main timeline. You can if it's a symbol as in my example. The animation is in symbols rather than on the main timeline.
