Anti-theft lock classic blackBerry

I activated my password protect so my toddler can not enter my BBClassic but I was wondering if there is a way to disable the function "erase data after 10 wrong passwords? I don't want my son, deletion of data on my phone, but don't want him to call either.  TIA

    BBID.com is a web address that will direct you to the sign BBID to the top of the page depending on your location.

    As long as you didn't setup a BBID on this unit, followed by wiping pf accordingly enter the wrong password 10 times, you will need to contact your point of sale and ask that they unlock the device, or request a refund because they sold with Anti - Theft Protection enabled

    There is no way for the end user to change the BBID combined on the device without having the existing credentials BBID. The seller you was not properly preparing the device for transfer of ownership and my humble opinion is the responsible party here. Please contact them... If they represented the device as being usable by anyone, then they have distorted it and should refund you.

    Reset simply means "removing the battery, wait a few seconds and placing back in and switching on of the appliance.

    Given that the Passport is delivered with a user not removing battery, a hard reset in this case would result in:

    Press and hold both volume buttons, pressing and by holding down the power button for like 32seconds or until the device restarts.

    Try it and once that your device restarts, leave it for 10-20 minutes before you do anything with her or control your Blackberry protect the new status.

    Hello and welcome to the community!

    There is no way to move forward without these credentials. Theft protection is a very strong security feature and cannot be bypassed.

    You must get these credentials, complete the initial Setup with the credentials and throw then a WIPE on the device, again enter these credentials. After the WIPE, you'll then be able to use/create a new BBID during initial installation.

    If the seller will not provide you with the credentials, their next option would be for you to return the unit to them and to the steps above, except for the last part (for example, they should start CLEANING with their powers, but does not start the device upwards later), and then they send it back to you.

    The last option is so... If the seller has represented the device as being fully usable by you, and if they either of the above, then they distorted the device for you and should refund you. If they do not cooperate, use the functions of "Buyer Protection" eBay.

    10 classic Blackberry has an anti-theft feature on this... the phone was wiped out to sell and the service has not been turned OFF... passwords are not found... and the phone is locked... This means that the phone is useless?  If so, this will be the last Blackberry buy... not impressed by the feature and warnings should be given until the phone is deleted that the feature should be turned off first...

    If a deletion of precarious security has been run, or enter the wrong password 10 times and it is expected that the lock remains activated.

    If the safety of the user deleted the device by going to settings > Security and privacy > Security wipe, he would have been invited to enter their password BlackBerry ID which will trigger the security wipe and turn off the anti-theft protection

    The preparation of Windows 10 utility says that I must remove HP Protectools.

    I reinstalled the patch Anti Theft (computer record) and was abot to remove protection tools properly. Do not know why the 1st time I took it out, there were still some "stuff" left behind.

    The BackBerry operating system is like 10 BlackBerry and the BlackBerry Tablet OS older for PlayBook is based on QNX. Once long ago, you could build Firefox for QNX, but support for QNX has long been removed from the Mozilla source tree.

    There has been no development of Mozilla mobile browser for any material or BlackBerry OS.

    Hi, just ordered & received my new X 1 with a core i7 last week.

    Interesting and educational follow-up of the laptop straight from China to the United Kingdom via UPS...

    In any case, everything seems to be in order, apart from a small little thing occurs.

    I noticed an icon in the systray "Intel Management Engine" running on the operating system installed, especially the Intel Anti theft technology service.

    My question is how to register and activate it? There is NOTHING in the software or the printed documentation that came with the laptop explaining this. There are no buttons on the screen to config the systray allowing you to do anything.

    When I opened the systray icon, it says:

    Intel AMT: enabled

    Intel to: enabled

    And if I arrived at Intel in tab, it says: "State the last system startup: not registered.

    How the hell should join me? I tried to go to intel to THE Web service, and basically, you need to register, however, for the record, you need a code any. Their Web site contains the code should have come printed on the slip with the laptop.  I have the portable computer box came in front of me as well as all documentation - there is absolutely nothing mentioning Intel AT, no code or something of the sort.

    Is this service AT something you have to pay extra for?

    I would suggest that Lenovo includes more information about Intel to with their Intel laptops that have Intel software pre-installed. I'm a professional yet found systray options from Intel to very confusing.

    I think your only option will be Lojack. I don't think that Intel sells their anti-theft offering directly to consumers. Yes, you will have to pay for it. I thought it was pretty lame that you are essentially limited to the lojack. Let me know if I'm wrong someone.
