Apex5.0 Oracle grid

I saw 6 date columns, followed by 4 columns so far so I want to align based on grid as 3 by 3 columns so how to align exactly in Oracle Apex5.0, column, column length and duration label wise.

Thank you

Hi Noel,

There are 4 basic preferences:

Start New line: If you want to have point next to each other, just he set to no.

Column - you can choose directly from which grid columns begin to question.

Extended column - you can choose the grid columns how many are occupied by the point (+ label)

Scope of column label - how grid (column Span/automatic) columns are occupied by point labels

Basic rules: Span of column Label cannot be greater than the scope of column (I use a value of 1 for short labels).

Elements on a single line cannot exceed 12 columns (sum of the spans of column in the components of a line).

EDIT: (example)

screenshot

settings (for all the components is the same, just for the first field there is property of start new line set ot Yes)

Edit2: first of all, you can use Page Designer to paste your items where you want.

    • Windows Server 2008 Standard

Thanks for the advice / references.

As other posters have suggested, better check with Oracle.

There is a good reference here in the docs of Oracle Online license, https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18248_01/doc/license.112/e10594.pdf

in respect of infrastructure of grid / search "components of Oracle Grid Infrastructure.

It would be useful to check around popularity of ASM / GI on windows. I worked between some flavors of * nix & Windows, ASM is great, but not a huge number of Windows installs that I have come across seem to use it. I'd certainly * nix however if (even if not!) considering the DSO. Sit together much cleaner

    Hello

I am trying to install Oracle RAC 12.1.0.2 one node installation on Windows Server R2 2012, but the installer told me:

'Valid [INS-35354] the system on which you try to install Oracle RAC One doesn't not part of a cluster.'

On the same server I have is installed and running Oracle Grid Infrastructure + ASM.

I don't know what is missing the installation program, which is possible to register? The installation program does not provide which had not passed the specific audit.

    Thanks for the tips

    Georg

    Hello

A CCR node does not mean that you install the grid infrastructure in a single node and install a base of a RAC data on this node.

Basically, a concept CAR is similar to active passive clustering to provide high availability. To have a node database RAC upward and launched, you will have to install clusterware on at least two server by selecting the option during the installation of the IM.

Pls follow the below post for detailed answer

INS-35354: validates the system on which you are trying to install Oracle RAC not part of a group when installing a 12 c RAC node database

  • Edition of database repository for Oracle Grid Control

Can the repository database for Oracle Grid Control standard edition?  Company limited license and cannot use enterprise edition for Oracle Grid Control.  Please notify.  Thank you very much!!

The requirement is due to the EM dependency on partitioning, which is an option of EE.

EM 12: Enterprise Manager Cloud control 12 c requires a repository database Enterprise Edition (Doc ID 1438655.1)

Overview of the prerequisites set EM

  • Question about uninstalling Oracle Grid Infrastructure software

Hello! I create a new cluster of CARS on IBM Power 7 server running AIX 6.1. I installed grid Infrastructure 11.2.0.3 as a 'practice' race, but I would like to make a few changes. I remember reading about a year on the Oracle uninstall utility 11g. Although it is installed as part of the software, it was recommended at that time to download the OTN deinstall utility.

That it is always recommended, or can I just run the deinstall utility in my house grid Infrastructure?

    Thank you

  • Install Oracle Grid

Installing the Oracle grid (11 g R2) on SUSE Linux 11. When the installation program has reached the required configuration step check, it displays an error:

    The following packages are missing:

    libstdc ++ 43 - 4.3.3_20081022
    libstdc ++ 43-32-bit - 4.3.3_20081022
    libstdc ++ 43-devel-32-bit - 4.3.3_20081022
    libgcc43 - 4.3.3_20081022

    Where can I get them?

    Hello

What version of Oracle im trying to install? 11.2.0.1?

Try with 11.2.0.3 (download full installer to MOS).

Since you have a more recent libstdc ++ I guess that you can safely ignore this error and proceed with the installation.
If you can not go forward, try to call the installer with - ignoreSysPreReqs

I would not replace libstdc with an older version.

  • Impact of Oracle Grid on TimesTen

    Hello

One of our customer use TimesTen (11.2.1.8.0) in the cache memory with Oracle (11.2.0.1.0) as the underlying database. They want to configure Oracle Grid to monitor the Oracle database in the production environment.

Logically, there should be no impact on this configuration for TimesTen, but I need a second opinion. Am I missing out on something?

    Thank you

    Hi Kiki,

I think that the use of Oracle EM control of grid monitoring Oracle DB is a very good idea. Certainly, who will not influence TimesTen configuration.
In addition, you can use Oracle EM Grid Control TimesTen monitoring as well.

No, Control 11g Grid can handle 2.2. The next version of the Grid control will support Oracle VM 3.0.

  • ASMCA need to Oracle Grid Infrastructure Configuration ASM - 11 GR 2 on SLES11

    Hello

I try to install 11 GR 2 ASM on a new server SLES11. So far I have correctly installed the database software, but the bad now when it comes to install the grid Infrastructure.
Partitioning and stamping the discs as ASM disks worked fine, oracleasm listdisks give me my disknames as output.

So far so good - in the setup of the network infrastructure, I chose "install and configure the network for a stand-alone server infrastructure."
The installation worked, I executed the script root.sh without any problems - but ASMCA configuration failed with the following error:

NEWS: Read: error detection of Oracle Grid Infrastructure. ASMCA needs Oracle Grid Infrastructure Configuration ASM.

Unfortunately I couldn't find much about it on the internet - I'm very stuck here...

    Any ideas?

    Hello

There must be a variable set of environment that should not be there.
You can connect with your normal user (without the oraenv) and do a 'env' and provide your environment variables.

I suppose that you have set a parameter of ORA_NLS or something similar, that should not be there.

  • Is it possible to do a host to connect with two Oracle Grid Control?

    Hi all

We have 13 bodies Oracle local (host) that is connected through a remote Oracle grid control. Unfortunately, local COMPUTER group is not allowed to visit the remote ogc we have to check every day the guests one by one. I just installed a second ogc in local place. The question is what is it possible to connect to these local hosts of Oracle to the second ogc but do not take effect on the original? If possible, what is the procedure? As long as same as the installation of a new Agent Management Oracle or by using the Agent to exist? Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

    Best regards
    Guangming Duan

I have two environments of GRID CONTROL. One is my SGD production and one is my WHO test. There are times where I need to test the functionality of CONTROL of GRID on HOSTS that have connected to my production, CONTROL of GRID of AGENTS. So, I install another officer in a separate ORACLE_HOME on these hosts configured to my TEST GRID CONTROL. The installation detects another agent and chooses the alternative ports. So guests have two agents, an agent connects to the WHO TEST and the other officer is connected to the WHO PROD with no port confilicts. Each agent consumes about 200 MB of memory. When I finished, I remove the agent connected to my TEST WHO. The 11g uninstall AGENT is very clean and efficient! / runInstaller-silent - uninstall 'REMOVE_HOMES is {$AGENT_HOME}. "

  • Installable for Oracle grid infrastructure restart alone (No. ASM)?

    Hello

Oracle Grid Infrastructure can be installed for its features Oracle restart only? that is, no. DSO, this box uses RAID 5 only local file systems.

It is a self-contained system of RHEL 5 32-bit with a database of Oracle 10 g 2 already installed that I intend to move to GR 11, 2. Just experimenting with the installation of infrastructure network for only its ability to restart. There is nothing out there that I found which addresses this other doc Oracle claiming that the Infrastructure must be installed if I want to use ASM or Oracle Restart.

I am currently in the Setup in a software installation only in the meantime my SysAdmin run the root.sh script, but looking at this script, it seems that he might try to do things with the CRS, voting files and others, that do not exist.

    Thank you!

    Hi Erik,

Oracle Grid Infrastructure can be installed for its features Oracle restart only?

Yes... you can do this installation software only

I am currently in the Setup in a software installation only in the meantime my SysAdmin run the root.sh script, but looking at this script, it seems that he might try to do things with the CRS, voting files and others, that do not exist.

Don't worry about that... at the end of the script is running root.sh will report a procedure to configure only Oracle Restart.
