API for UDP multicast and UPnP

Hi all

I'm a newbie in the development of Blackberry,

what I need is to implement the UPnP protocol stack.

Can someone kindly tell me that, don't the JDE provides the api for UPnP directly? or the api for "MulticastSocket" or "Connection UDP Multicast", which is used by UPnP?

Thanks in advance!

No, you do not get access to any BlackBerry of additional APIs ISV BlackBerry Alliance member.

    Hello

I would like to run this excerpt on a cRIO system:

(open a port for the UDP multicast messages).

On a standard PC with Win7 that it works, I can send and receive messages without problem.

But on a cRIO, I get an error 54 ('bad network address'). Until the devil?

The cRIO is implemented with this software (LV2011SP1):

I want to reduce memory consumption, so chose not to install the recommended all packages.

I suspect that there is something missing. Is what part of the package?

I found a solution (or is a workaround solution?)...

Need wire entry "network address" Open UDP service. It seems that the cRIO does not know that it is the own IP address:

A correction more: you should only use "String to IP" on the cRIO. When used as indicated above, it gives error 54 on the PC! Arrrgghhh...

The following solution: put the StringToIP node within the ConditionalDiagramDisable structure already in use

  • API for Adobe Stock and client licenses

Hello - is there an API as pictures into a catalog online for a website? Tiles can be selected by clients for printing at this time here we would buy the image required a license on behalf of the client. It would be for each instance of each image to comply with the licensing requirements.

I'm looking for a method to extract thumbnails of images of ACEs by various search criteria (landscape, cityscape by location etc.). Is this possible?

This is the case. You can just sell the images.

If your product is a book on the New Zealand for example and include you some pictures and maybe once you are well. If this book is a blivre of picture or image is used for other materials such as cards, mugs, t-shirts, etc. it is not covered by a Standard license and requires the extended license.

The issue is not that you could be a license for more than one customer/client - the question is are you sell images.

A general rule is as follows - ask your self if you could sell this product even without the images. If the answer is Yes, then you generally agree with the standard license. If the answer is no, you need the extended license.

It's all a moot point anyway that Stock or Fotolia ways to become a reseller.

    Dear Alejandro,

If you mean the switch weather can pass through these protocols the answer is a definitive Yes. If you meant something can else you please describe what you mean?

For example, THAT TCP is supported in a way that it can filter traffic based on the TCP port (layer feature 3 +), so can he do to UDP. Multicast is also managed through IGMP support. About RTCP and RTSP how / why would you use it?

  • Public API for update of the Phase of time because any spending Plan and revenue Plan

    Hello

Is there a public API on draft update of the Phase of time against zero in terms of spending and revenue Plan?

Steps to manually configure the time Phase for the spending and revenue plan Plan:

Project > finance > Budgets and forecasts > change the scheduling Options > click OK > select Plan type Budget > change > tab parameters of the Plan:

On the spending Plan section > time Phase = "period of PA.

On the revenue plan section > time Phase = "period of PA.

I followed note 1292958.1 to check what are all the APIs available on projects now but I do not find any API for the Phase of time.

    Thank you

    Diana

A colleague helped me with a response.

According to the 1295817.1 note - you can use the PA_BUDGET_PUB. UPDATE_BUDGET API to change the setting time_phased_code on 'P' (PA_Period), 'G' (GL_Period) or "n" (no steps) as well as the version of the financial plan information.

    Thank you

What TCP/UDP ports must be open on a firewall for adobe reader and flashplaer to work properly? This would include the update, which connects and no matter what subset of functionality.

The Acrobat family uses TCP, HTTP/HTTPS for all traffic. Ports and the following processes can be active on a client computer in Windows:

    AdobeARM.exe - automatic updates - port 443

    AcroRd32.exe - brand messages - port 443

AcroRd32.exe - links in documents - whatever that is specified in the URL

There is no listen to incoming ports for all elements of the Acrobat family. Automatic updates are not pushed, and there is no server in the software process.

  • Several Applications using UDP Multicast Open (read only) on the same port

    Hi all

Currently, I am trying to build a system that has the following architecture:

    RF Server = "1-9 A/D '-> «UDP Multicast (write-only) 1-9"»

Workstation operator = "QTY (N) Data Display Apps all need independently to access one of the 9 UDP multicasts at a time.

Essentially, I have 9 items of antenna that all digitized and distributed via UDP separate multicast address and port. On the receive side I need to be able to have the N number of data display applications where everyone can select the antenna element he wants to get data from. My current goal for N is 7 and the worst case for the data rate is 3.75 MSps IQ rates on each display.

My question is whether or not it is possible to have several "UDP Multicast Open (read only)" on the same port but one by application Data Display? Also, are there limitations with this.

On my local machine I tried a bit with the example 'UDP Multicast Sender.vi' and "UDP Multicast Reciever.vi". I created a "UDP Multicast Reciever2.vi" as another application that listens on the same port/Multicast address as the original receiver. No errors are thrown when you run the receivers and both receivers get the data string sent by the sender at the same time. Can I send data/a. 'PC'-> 'Router Ethernet'-> 'PC with receiver UDP N' reliable evidence? If so, that's fine, because it would be relatively easy to implement. BTW, I do not fear with occasional loss of data what is happening with UDP.

If this does not work, I am also curious to know which deals with data deduplication. For example, two applications by subscribing to the same Multicast address and port does the router send two copies (which increases network traffic)? Or, the Windows operating system get a single UDP packet to the port and replicate in two independent applications?

Below (or attached) are the two methods I thought. If multiple readers of UDP does not work so I thought I'd do a DataSocket "Data Distribution layer" between the incoming UDP sockets and display data on the workstation applications. This would add a bit of memory/processor to the PC workstation, but I know the DataSocket server of NOR can handle a sender unique multiple receiver architecture.

    Thank you

    Tim S.

    Hi Tim,.

The number of concurrent applications, get data on the same port UDP will probably be a limitation of the OS as well. If I had to guess, I would say that 7 of the applications should work correctly. In fact, the memory/CPU bottlenecks are probably the limit on how many simultaneous readers we have, especially since the capablities of PC hardware differ from one computer to the other. I doubt that the OS has a strict limit.

  • Error 54 on udp multicast cRIO

I'm trying to get a data broadcasting cRIO-9075 on a network with UDP. I opened the UDP multicast examples and they work fine when I run them on my development computer. When I deploy and run the examples on the controller for cRIO, however, I get either "error 54 - network address is incorrect" if trying to use the example send/receive or perform UDP opened in read/write mode, or "Error 59 - the network is down, unreachable or has been reset" if I try to use just send UDP or UDP open write-only.

I use a valid multicast IP address located in the region of multicast (234.5.6.7 as in the example), have tried several ports, (0, 58432, 50001...) and we tried with my firewall disabled, connection internet Wi - Fi and bluetooth all disabled. The cRIO is connected directly to your PC via a cable network right development, although I'm sure that my network card is untangle break detection as the rest of the connection works fine.

Anyone have any ideas on how to debug this? I slightly touched a wall of bricks here, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Dan,.

I have a number of steps that you can try:

    (1) would you be able to reformat the cRIO, then reinstall the software of MAX?

    (2) try setting static IP address and choose an IP address.

    (3) then try to set the default Gateway to the IP address of the computer.

I look forward to hear from you,

By Adobe documents, it appears profile still not mobile support (I put the filter on the reference of the API for 'AIR earlier 3.1 and runtime').  Note the class property available to test you support when running.

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/ActionScript/3/Flash/NET/DatagramSocket.html

"AIR profile support: this feature is supported on all systems of desktop operating, but is not supported on mobile devices or AIR to TV sets." You can test the support at run time by using the DatagramSocket.isSupported property. See AIR profile taken in charge for more information regarding the API across multiple profiles support. »

    Problem statement:

Multiple simultaneous connection requests with invalid password saturates the UDP ports and can bring down the 11 GR 2 (11.2.0.4) database infrastructure.

When the API try to put applications that is not able to connect and DB is still suspended as long and we restarted to solve the problem.

So, I'm curious to know if a fix is available for this problem without having to restart the database.

Multiple simultaneous connection requests with an invalid password

Have you tried to use the password?

can lower the 11 GR 2 (11.2.0.4) database infrastructure.

I have to say that I am skeptical about this claim. I didn't know the database or the listener down due to attempts to connect not valid. Can you give us an error message or two confirming this?

The right course of action is to use the correct password in the application.

  • How can I disable the Google Maps message "Google has disabled the use of maps API for this application? This as Microsoft tries to crush Netscape?

In the last day or two (8 August 2012) each time I start Firefox (14.01.01) I get a pop up that says "Google has disabled using the maps API for this application. He directs me to Google Maps terms & Conditions, but does not provide a solution to disable the pop up. I tried to disable Google Maps as an Add on Firefox, but still not the context menu.
It is easy to fix the problem or is this an attempt by Google to force me to Chrome, much like trying to crush Netscape in favour of Microsoft's Internet Explorer?

I thought about it. It is not the browser itself. It happened that I had two pages that open when I started the browser (at home and at work) and it was one of them who had a Google map. They have had to fix their Web site.
Sorry Google, to think that you were an evil Empire!

I am running XP Pro SP 3 on a working group. I'm trying to access the files from a Windows 7 machine on the same workgroup. But the XP firewall blocking UDP 137 and 138 even though exception "File and Print sharing" is selected. When I disable the XP firewall, all right.

I did some research on another site, and I came up with the FIX for this issue. It has to do with the node XP somehow getting ready to type "Peer-to-peer". I applied the fix in this article:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/903267

and the problem is now solved.

Please come back and let everyone know how you fixed the end!

However, the fact that this has happened and you don't know how concerned me (if it was my machine).

Here's what I propose for extra cleaning:

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know usingGoogle (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory. This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.
